I have made a Video that is only 3 minutes long. Triple checked that no extra files were left in the timeline and it added 2:04 making the total video of 5:04 and playing black screen until finished. I did it twice to make sure it was not a fluke. Adobe Premiere 23.2 & Adobe Media Encoder 23.2 encoded to H264 Match Source Adaptive High Bitrate
There should be a button to terminate and finish the currently rendering project at the current render progress. I know, I know...but I often forget to change the comp settings duration and it's a pain to either stop and restart or let finish and trim later. That can cost me hours of wasted time.
I make a preview "roll-over" of videos that I create for the web, and I use .jpg image sequences for them. I've seen all the settings and I can't find a way to export as LESS than one frame per second. I want one frame of jpg per minute. Anyone know how to do this? (I tried speeding my video up in the timeline to roughly match the framerate of one frame per minute, but they were all blurry. Apple's OS used to do this in quicktime, but they changed it years ago. Would be nice if you could choose the same color as Premiere or v.v.
Hi there guys, can someone help me with some scripting problem?I can make frontend.addDLToBatch work on AME 22, but the same code doesnt run on 23.Looking at the documentation it doesn´t appear as changes were made to the method.Does anyone know what is going on?I am using this piece of code for testing (as said before, it works just fine on 22) var frontend = app.getFrontend(); frontend.addDLToBatch( "C:\\testP\\teste lalala.aep", "H.264", "C:\\testP\\teste.epr", "0000002a-0000-0000-0000-000000000000", "C:\\testP\\teste lalala_AME\\Comp 2.mp4" ); Thanks in advance.
Whenever I encode a File it automatically names the file after the composition. Is there a way to change it so that it instead takes on the name of the AE project?

Both source and target files are on the local system disc. The system is set up to NOT sleep when running of mains power.Given that the estimated transcode time is 4 hours, it's especially painful to lose an hour's time when it dies
I've managed to create a link to my second YouTube channel in Premiere Pro but when I try to select it in the Media Encoder dropdown it won't let me upload to anything other than the original channel. Even though the second channel is shown in the dropdown, the first channel remains stubbornly ticked! Any suggestions as to how I can pick the other channel for my upload? Thanks.
The last time I did a projrct using dropbox sync, simply linking the first file would be enough for Premiere to find all the others, just like normal..But on this new project it was only able to find a single file using the "locate" function in the media browser the rest can't be located, even manually, they just don't come up.The only way they can be located is using the replace media function. I trashed prefs, updated 2023, restarted, no luck.I took a screencap if anyone is interested. Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4790 CPU @ 3.60GHz 3.60 GHz32.0 GB64-bit operating system, x64-based processorPP 2023 current/ I was able to get what I needed for now by using the "find in project" and "replace media" functions. This workaround is fine for right now, but obvs I need to fix the overall issue. Any ideas?I updated PP2023, restarted, changed folder location, all the obvious stuff.
In my AE it appears like thisbut in AME it appears like thisI'm using AE and AME 2021, windows 11
The software displays a splash screen, then a blank white message pops up, and then closes immediately. I don't know if the error log which mentions an invalid window handle is relevant, but it occours every time I try and open ME. Nview is the desktop manager I have disabled but to no avail. Please could anyone help?
Tech support says its been discontinued, but I have no interest in upgrading. Want to keep the same version for compatability issues. TIA
Hoping someone can help. I created a new watch folder in Media Encoder but I am encountering some issues. In Premier Pro I have made a single 10-minute full sequence out of smaller sequences. I copied this full sequence to my watch folder but when I open media encoder the watch folder is empty. I have checked the sequence is in the root folder and not a bin. Any ideas anyone. Thanks
Hello allI need a Technical Ace to help me with the following please... PROBLEM:Adobe Pr and Me are not using the eGPU (Nvidia GeFOrce RTX 3060 Ti) for rendering / export...The eGPU is running and is active, OS recognises and uses it, performance monitor shows its activity. However Pr and Me are just ignoring it when rendering.I previously had a Radeon RX 5700 XT in the GPU that Pr and Me did use, however, its drivers seemed unstable on win 11, causing complete OS crashes (freezes). So I bought the Nvidia based card above in the hope it would work better...I need help to understand why Pr and Me is ignoring the eGPUPC SYSTEM:- Dell XPS 13", 8th gen i7, 16 GB Ram, 2 TB PCIe Nvme SSD, 2018 model (Dell 9370)- Ports: 2 TB3, 1 USB C- BIOS & Drivers all up to date- Windows 11 Pro, with Adobe Creative Cloud suite, incl Pr, Me, LrC, Ps, etc.- OS and Adobe Suite are all healthy and up to date w. patches and fixes- Plenty of space on the storage... eGPU:- Unit = Raser Core X, connecte
Greetings,Why is it, no matter what settings I choose, If I render a video file, the output is ALWAYS a larger file size than the source file? Even if minimally touched. Heck even if I trim it to make it shorter, it's still larger. Here is the AME settings to a project where all I did was put a white box over 4 sec of text. And the final file is almost twice as big and of much crappier quality at these settings
I have been creating videos in After Effects and then using the Media Encoder to create mp4 videos. Two weeks ago the Media Encoder started creating M4V, ACC, and a MP4 file with O bytes in it instead of an mp4 file. The file name exention in the ME is mp4. The multiplexer says mp4 but I get M4V.I can put the project on my personal computer and it exports fine. It just doesn't work correctly on my company computer.
Can someone help please? Since I updated last week, to the latest version of AE V23.1 and AME V23.1. I can no longer export comps in AE to AME.Its even affected the last versions AE V.26 - AME V.26.3 that I have been mainly using in the last months. I simply cannot export from inside After Effects to Encoder anymore. The screenshot is from a manual import from inside AME when the dynamic link error message is visible. I rely on this for batch rendering small ads etc. I tried uninstalling and re-installing AME but no luck. This has not happened before, apart from a slow rendering time issue in September, that was fixed in an update. Premiere Pro export to AME seems to be working fine though? Frustrating to say the least! ThanksSpec:Predator PH315-53Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10750H CPU @ 2.60GHz 2.59 GHz32.0 GB (31.8 GB usable)
I'am not sure why that problem occured. But nothing happened even after too many hours. My version is Media Encoder 2023 v23.1
Hi. I have problems with export as MP4.In Adobe Encoder there is no error, but the exported file has only 1KB and does not open.In Premiere there is this error as you see in the atached screenshot.I have this problem since today.Anybody with the same problem and knows how to solve it?RegardsOliver
why my H264 export file is 0 bits? it showed nothing on it ? 😞
My Media Encoder was recently updated, but now every video or animation that is rendered in H.264 format comes out as just 24kb. In other formats like AVI or MOV it is working normally... only in Mp4 this error is evident! (Premiere Pro and Queue from After Effects also render normally in Mp4)
Hello, I'm trying to export a .mp4 video using the default settings of H.264 format, something I've done hundreds of times previously, the result is a non-working file with a minuscule size. Does anyone have an idea?I'm using After Effects Version 23.1.0 (Build 83) & Media Encoder Version 23.1 (Build 81).
