Adobe Media Encoder

Hi there Does anyone else experience that Creative Cloud causes programs and computers to crash? We've been using the Adobe Suit for 25+ years and never experienced frustrations like these. And it seems to be getting worse. Adobe programs often freeze mid-work or while saving causing our computers to completely restart themselves! And we're not working on poor quality computers, we use latest and top of the range technology for large and high profile jobs. This is absolutely ridiculous. Biggest problems we face currently are with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Media Encoder, Photoshop and even Illustrator. In addition to this, it seems that Creative Cloud keeps disconnecting, interfering with programs and or not responding.  Adobe seriously needs to start fixing these problems, its programs and services are extremely expensive, the least it should do is work. Guten Tag,Ich vermisse das in After Effects beim Export über die Renderliste verfügbare Feature,dass die Kompositions-Framenummer für die Namensgebung verwendet wird, wenn als Bildsequenz exportiert wird.Im Export von zB After Effects-Sequenzen über den  Media Encoder, ist es deswegen nicht möglich immer nur die neu bearbeiteten Teile einer Sequenz neu als Bildsequenz zu exportieren. Da egal wo man in der Sequenz mit dem Export beginnt, der erste Frame immer mit 1 benannt wird.

Hey everyone! I'm here because I'm having a big problem, and I hope someone can aid me:I've made a video using after effects, not so complex, with just a few effects, and I'm trying to render it with the alpha channel in Adobe Media Encoder, but for some reason, the video's size becomes too big, reaching 400MB, and it's not running when I try to play it. I've tried to render it with "QuickTime Apples 4444 Alpha", and with "QuickTime GoPro CineForm RGB 12 bits Alpha" and both end up with the same errors.But when I render it "normally", with H264, no alpha channel, it comes out perfect, with only 6MB. And it's a video with a length of 1min only. So, that's it, that's my problem, and I hope someone can help me, it's for a job and I need to render with the alpha channel.Thanks in advance!

Hey, my Media Encoder is verry slow since the last Update to 1.5.1 With the old builds i can render my 1 Hour Project in 4K with Lumetri and GPU (NVIDIA) in around 1 Hour and 10 min.With the new 1.5.1 it takes up to 4 hours!

Is anyone else having trouble getting DynamicLink to connect AE to ME or vice versa? I've been trying to export projects today and I'm on a serious deadline for these things and I can't get anything done. OS: macOS Big Sur 11.3 (11.3.1 after tonight)Hardware: iMac Retina 5K 27-inch, 20203.6 GHz 10-Core Intel Core i932GB 2667 MHz DDR4AMD Radeon Pro 5700 XT 16GB 

For the past couple of weeks Media Encoder has frozen a short way into the process on BOTH my laptop and desktop computers. Thankfully I can still export directly from Premiere Pro and wait for the file to finish encoding before proceeding. Major time loss. Both computers Dell PC's Any Ideas for a fix? I have already reinstalled software on both PC's.

My encoding and error logs for AME don't seem to be updating properly. Often I get a "completed with warnings" yellow exclamation point, with a link to an error log, but then there is nothing about that render there. I've had some "hardware encoding" renders from PP fail on me the past couple of days (AME just gets stuck and all I can do is manually stop the render), and those don't show up in either the error or regular log. At all. Also, renders that complete with with no warnings are often missing from the log file. My my log files go back to 2016, and I can see that those entries are full of information. I'm not sure what to do here...any advice about how to get entries reliably showing up in my logs?Thanks,Lori

I was rendering a video from AE yesterday that initially said it would take 1.5 hours to render, after 5 hours it crashed. After reading multiple forums saying there have been long term, unaddressed issues with rendering performance I decided to attempt to render directly in AE. New video is 1080avi, the initial calculation said 4 hours. Currently I am 8 hours into the render at 75% with 3 hours remaining. What in the world is going on with rendering times? This is a 4.5 minute video, using RotoBrush 2 (frozen). There is no reason this video should be taking an entire day to render. I am on a mac and I sent a project from AE to ME and Me opens but nothing happens. I tried to import that file manually and it just hangs.  Please help.

Hello Premiere Pro Version 15.1.0 (Build 48)Media Encoder Version 15.1 (Build 42) I know I'm probably staring at the problem and will facepalm when I see the answer but I'm trying to export a 12 audio track MXF OP1a and, while it's creating a 12 track file only 8 tracks have audio. the bottom 4 tracks are blank. Here are my Sequence Settings: Here are my output settings: Here is my timeline: And here is my timeline with the output file dragged in to check (note tracks 9-12 have been created but the audio is blank): Like I said, I know I've probably just got some setting incorrect but I can't, for the life of me, figure it out. 'Any thoughts? (Note: I will be cross-posting this to the Premiere Pro forum)

Video flickerings appear only after rendering animations into mp4 (from Ae to Me, and same from Pr to Me). Flickerings are random and even appear when I render the mp4 file again. There are no flickerings in the preview.  already reinstalled my display drivers, reinstalled Ae, Pr, Me programs, updated Windows. I'm out of options. Maybe it's something in rendering settings? I need help here.  Thanks ! It's seen at  4-5th seconds in the video. The same things appear here and there in 3minute long animation. 

I think what I find most disturbing is that people have been having this problem for a while, but there is no answer from Adobe.  I need to know how to fix this, but there is no answer.  When I check out others in the community, to see if Adobe responded to them I am not seeing any response.   Adobe people, please address this issue.

I'm new to Adobe Media Encoder, I've been trying to render an animation I made in AfterEffetcs (also new to that) and every time I try to render it fails and I get an error message saying it's "unable to produce frame". If anyone knows what I could do to fix it or what might be wrong I would really appreciate it! Thank you.

ME can't create any proxy file from 4:2:2 10 bit 4k Sony A7SIII footage. Is so annoying. What could it be? I have a Ryzen 7 16Gb and 1660Ti laptop. 

Hi there ,videos I converted with AE are extremely jerky and far from being smooth - and unfortunately I have no idea what else to do. No matter which player (even the VLC) - have tried several settings in AE and several players. Also the frame rates are identical. Haven't really worked much with the AE yet. Would be great if you had an idea what I possibly do wrong here. I don't know what the problem could be.best thanks

Currently rendering videos using Mercury Playback Engine GPU acceleration (CUDA). I got a 3070 RTX, Ryzen 9 39000x and 64 GB ram. However, it's hardly using any of my CPU or GPU. I have a program I can monitor the load and it's not using a lot at all. How do I make it use more of my pc to hopefully decrease rendering time? 

Installed the latest version of ME and now it fails to upload to YouTube after files have been rendered using the publish options. I also can't pull in playlists from the drop down menu. Tried logging out of my YouTube account and then back in and that didn't seem to help. Wondering if there's a bug in this new version.

Recently my AME has been 'failing' to upload to YouTube when previously it has worked issue free. MY friend who also is logged in to the same YT account is not having this problem, so it is limited to my account/software. "YouTube - Not logged in to YouTube" is the message I get whenever I try. I have reset preferences and logged in/out of the YT account a tonne of times. No luck. Can anybody help? 

Sempre que boto para exportar no media encoder ele fica um bom tempo tentando conectar ao dynamic link e falha, tenho que repetir esse processo umas 3 vezes pra conseguir exportar, a falha diz que não conseguiu ler o arquivo de origem, existe uma forma de corrigir isso?

I have been trying to render an adobe after effects 2021 project file with Adobe media encoder 2021 and it keeps popping up an error that says "could not connect to Adobe after effects 2021. please verify that Adobe after effects 2021 is installed" I tried to re-install both of them and I also tried and restart my laptop. please tell me how can I fix this issue as soon as possible. thank you.

Im trying to update my AME but it says to close dynamiclinkmanager. I have no idea what that is? I don't have AME or anything else opened! I'm on windows can anyone help!

Add to Render Cue in AE 18.0.1 then I add to cue in Media Encoder 15.0 and Connecting to Dynamic Link server continues to run and never exports. Please help.

When I try and drag a mov from a client into Encoder it comes up stating that "you need to have a paid account" to use that codex. Of course, I DO have a paid account. I don't see anywhere on Adobe that says "download these codex" or whatever, and the only thing that mentions this on the forums that is "solved" has a user who wrote a warning that the answer is a scam. Has anyone figured this out yet?Thanks.Van

So I finished editing a video in Premiere, and go to export via media encoder but nothing happens. So went to the windows start and looked for app, and it's not even listed. Then I went to programs files to look for the .exe file, and nothing! Completely gone! The Adobe Media Encoder folder was still in the program files folder, but the .exe file, nowhere to be found. So I opened the creative cloud desktop app, and I find that there's a update "waiting". Waiting for what? The second coming? Fast & Furious 34? Great timing Adobe.  Anyways, I am thinking that the update was happening in the background and when it came time to update/download the .exe file, that was the same time I wanted to use the app and something got hung up. I thought Creative Cloud was supposed to make things better? Any thoughts, comments would be appreciated. Thanks.
