There is a failure to connect to the Dynamic link server every time I try to bring an after effects file to the media encoder.
I am seriously at my wit's end with Adobe. Every time any of this software gets updated, some critical function stops working. Now I cannot get After Effects to export my animation to Media Encoder. I need this video NOW for a social media post, and here I am watching AME crash over and over again. What gives?? This is exactly why I stopped paying for my personal Adobe account. At least with the account my job pays for, it isn't my money going to waste on this useless software. Fix this, Adobe.
I can open Media Endoder normally, but when I import a file, it gets stuck and the program crashes. It was working fine till last week, I have no idea what happened. There is no cache to clean, I have already tried it.I have already tried uninstalling and installing it again and I have already tried Adobe Cleaner Tool. The screenshot is in Portuguese but I don't really think it matters.Anyways, I hope someone can help me, because I really need this program.
Hi guys, I noticed that Adobe Creative Cloud would not allow me to install AME in Windows 7 because apparently now the prerequisite now is Windows 10 compared to 1/2 yr back. Is there a way for me to install an older version of AME that would be compatible for Windows 7? Cheers, -k²
Encoder has got even worse lately, I've been struggling to export AF files as MP4 files to no avail. It takes ages to convert, as long as forever.I am already using the latest version (V15.1, build 42)Adobe, please get this sorted ASAP.
I face an issue for 2 weeks now. When i'm trying to render my composition into Media Encoder, the render fails after the XMP Reading. I cleared the cache, disabled Parallel Encoding. In addition, my errorfile is empty. So i don't know what happen.Anyone have a solution ? Sorry for my english, it's not perfect. I'm a frenchy 🙂
Hi I'm trying to export an Adobe After Effects Project to Video on a Mac with a M1 chip. When I File -> Export -> Add to Media Encoder queue i get an error 5027 :: 12. After Effects: AEGP Plugin AEDynamicLinkServer: Adobe Media Encoder is not installed. Please download and install it to use this feature. Go to https://creative.adobe.com/apps. I've downloaded the latest beta, but all seem to be for the Intel Chip. I'm using:- MacOs BigSur 11.1- After Effects 18.1- Media Encoder 15.1- Media Encoder 15.2 (beta) Both Media Encoders are not working. Anyone that has a solution for this?
Hello everyone - I remember asking this question about a year ago but I've not received any response and I'm still messing around with the issue... Quite often I'll need to render a file from After Effects several times over the space of a few hours (it's not unusual for a customer to have several revisions to a job in a short period of time). Unless I remember to restart AME each time, the software will see an older cached version of the After Effects comp and will render that as opposed to the newer revised version. It's not the end of the world or anything, but it's a pain in the tuckus (and is time consuming) to restart AME six or eight times a day... Any advice or input would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
for some reason renders video without some corrections. I have a lumetri color adjustment layer that has a LUT for hlg conversion and some minor color adjustments for the movie. when outputting simply through premiere pro, everything goes fine, all color corrections are preserved, but when outputting a video through ME, these corrections are not. Has anyone encountered a similar one? is it really possible to somehow cure it?
I have an issue I had before in other Media Encoder versions some times.Since I updated to ME v.15.1 rendering takes AWEFULLY LONG (hours for just 8min Videos or 1 hour for a 5sec GIF).As you see, it is not just ONE video specifically which makes problems but totally different things. The GIF for example is just 5 sec long, has a very small animation, nothing exquisite or with many layers etc.I have put the rendering options to 10 fps and the quality to 50%. So this should not need as long as it does - as I have rendered such GIFs before in ME and it did not take so long anyway. My solution now was: Going back to the previous ME version. But I wanted to bring this up as I have experienced this some times before when I updated ME. It seems this error is occuring from time to time with an update and I wanted to let the Adobe Team know that!Thumbs up or comment if you have the same problems. Thanks.
I am on the latest version of creative cloud and media encoder and it is continously trying to sign me out asking "Encoding is in progress. Do you really want to quit?". I do not initiate signing out and even after signing in again it quickly provides the same message. It is causing serious issues with trying to complete a project and not finding any responses to any prior posts about this. @m_mulligan please help!
I need to make H264 HD & SD stereo versions from my program master that has 12 Channel split track audio created in AVID. I want to just use the first to channels of the master which is the stereo mix. I know that choosing the Quicktime format allows you to choose the source channels 1-2, but the H264 format doesn't give that audio option. I've tested the export to H264 and it sounds like it's exporting just the stereo mix rather than a mixdown of all the tracks. Is there any way to confirm this? Or is there a way to edit the source tracks from the master file in AME? I know I could export a Stereo version of the master from avid, but I'm trying to avoid the extra step. I'm currently working with AME 2019. Any knowlege or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
I am quite new to AME and I have a number of mute graphics file which are 24fps. I want to convert them to 25fps without putting in pulldown. Essentially just change the fps of the file so it's frame for frame - duration doesn't matter. What would be the best setting/solution? Thank you
Is there a way to prevent AME from deleting temp files? It was possible with the older versions and was very usefull, in cases when export failed we could just continue from where it failed instead of exporting everything from the start.
Hello,I rendered, it took me almost 24 hours (because I couldn't render with hardware acceleration otherwise I got an error). When I watch the video in premiere pro, everything is fine, the sound is correct. In the rendering there is a shift from start to finish. Can someone help me please? I believe my processor is not keeping up.
I have been exporting DNxHR videos from Divinci Resolve for the last 5 or 6 months and using media Encoder to create H264s/mp4s for vimeo and the like. I find I get nasty results exporting H264 straight from Resolve, and regardless, this work flow has been working brilliantly for me. Then today, out of nowhere, my DNxHR videos wont be accepted by ME. It says No Video and just shows a black square (if there is an audio track). If there is no audio, it simply says the codec is not accepted. Well it was yesterday!I've tried rolling back to a previous version of encoder, but I get exactly the same results. I also cannot open the video in AE or Premiere, yet the video plays fine in quicktime player or vlc, etc. What could be causing Adobe products to suddenly refuse a certain video codec overnight?
Encoder 15.1(Build42). When encoding is running, other applications out of the Adobe creative license, that are not running at that time, cannot be launched. Always with the message :Your subscription status cannot be confirmed. All applications already running will continue to run without any problems. But e.g. starting Photoshop from within Premiere (or starting it directly) to correct graphics is not possible. After quitting the media encoder the problem is no longer existent. That means you can't continue to work. This means that the media encode does not make any sense. There are no connection problems with the Internet - as indicated by the offered solution. To be on the safe side, I went through the guide.
I actually do not know where this error stems from, but here we go. I was attempting to encode an After Effects composition containing 5 video files with opacity changes only, but 2 of the video files always got encoded looking like this. I was trying to encode it into an MP4 file. Whenever I check the After Effects file, all of the videos are intact, but it still doesn't work for Media Encoder. I attempted encoding 4 times, and restarted both After Effects and Media Encoder to check if that helped.I did try searching the forums, but because I'm not sure what keywords to search, I couldn't find a post that also had this error.
Hello all,When setting up Color Management in PPro and AE, I understand how those work... they access the icc profile in the OS (and or the one you created with a puck) and allow you to see the timelines thru the eyes of that icc profile... But in Media Encoder, when I check the Color Management box in Preferences, what does it really do? It doesn't change the export, from what I can tell. It's supposed to use the icc profile in the OS, but use it for what? Thanks!Letty
media encoder crashing on load on MACBOOKPRO
hello, cant export from after of version 16.1.2 to media encoderhow can i get the old version of media encoder for that?
I'm trying to get AME to overwrite files. Every time I export (via Adobe Animate) a file, AME will add a new sequntially numbered one, which I then have to rename every time so my editing app will "see it" and substitute the linked file in the project.I tried to uncheck the "Increment outupt file name if file with same name exists" in AME Preferences, but when I go export from Animate I get a failed export message. All I want AME to do is to overwrite the files, but apparently... no go.
Upgraded CC apps today, no I can't open Media Encoder anymore. It crashes shortly after showing the splash screen.I tried a number of things I found in older posts, like deleting older versions from Library/Caches, but nothing works. This is a mojor issue as I need to render mp4s for a client. Any ideas?
Hi All, a question about audio channels...So if I have a Quicktime video with audio on channels 3&4 (but not 1&2) Encoder ignores the audio completely. I have ProRes recordings on an Atomos device that can record up to 8 audio chanels and can assign embedded audio to any of those channels. If I choose to input analogue sound it is prioritised on channels 1&2 so embedded sound is pushed to 3&4. Are there settings in Encoder where I can tell it to encode channels 3&4 to the output? There is probably a sensible explanation, I just can't think of itThank you in advance
