Adobe Scan

Hi, I am enjoying the new features in the latest Scan update on my up-to-date, 7th gen iPad, except for one thing.  Let me explain: I saved one Scan, numbering two pages.  Everything worked out great.After this, I save the scan, now a .pdf, to my Dropbox account.  I want to save the scan to both my PC and in Adobe Reader on my iPad.  I tap on Save a Copy and choose Save to Dropbox.My next step is to rename the file.The dialog box that pops up asks if I want to rename TWO files.  I made only one.  ???Confused I agree to renaming two files, but don't know why.  One is a .pdf, the other is a .txt.  ???Files(s) renamed, one ends with ,pdf-1 Nd the other with .pdf-2.  ???     Can my PC even OPEN a file ending with .pdf-1? This two-for-one thing is new.  When the first round of AdobeScan improvements showed up, I was able to rename just one file.Is there a setting I need to turn off somewhere?  Or is this a

Whenever, I scan any A4 document it doesn't retain its orginal frame size such as A4. It has been shrink. This is happening to the updated version not in older one

I've shared a copy of several files from Adobe Scan to Google Drive. Recently several files are not able to completely upload to Drive. There is a constantly spinning circle with an x in the middle, but it is impossible to terminate upload and try again. The message reads waiting for Internet.This continues regardless of my connection to Wifi.   Please advise how to either complete upload, or terminate and retry. Thank you 

When I send an email with a scan attached it doesn't get to it's destination but in my sent items it says it was sent. Please advise.

my adobe scan app started adding another file 'text.txt' to my folders whenever I save a scanned document to the icloud, I tried adobe customer service but unfortunately they were not able to resolve.

Descargue la aplicación: https://adobescan.app.link/getapp La solución de ir a "Todos mis archivos escaneados" y enviarlo desde allí tampoco funciona. Lo único que pude hacer es enviarlo a mi gmail, de ahí guardarlo en mis archivos, y de ahí enviarlo finalmente adjunto en whatsapp  A alguien más le pasa esto?Es muy necesaria esta prestación. Gracias

Hi,All these months & years I could save the scan as a PDF & also send it as a PDF through mail, WhatsApp etc.. But oflate it goes as a link which can be opened in the app for which the other person also has have the app which was never the case till now.. After opening through app even the other person can save the PDF in your laptop or any personal folder.. It remains only in the app.. Why such a drastic change. Have attached the screenshot of what gets sent after saving the scan in the app Kindly help.. RegardsShweta Prabhu

Is there a list of ALL of the application configuration keys for Adobe Scan.I am using Workspace ONE (AirWatch) to deploy and control our mobile phones. 

Share is an option, but it is not received where it has been sent

SS  You asked the above. I cannot share the pdf with you as that's the problem: it does not share!  I managed to send it to my messenger account, but I would have preferred to send it to my email.  I tried multiple times.  No error message, just doesn't arrive with the recipient.  Thank you.  

I scanned a document of about 26 pages on the Adobe scan app. I pressed save, renames the documents and as it was uploading to the cloud the scanned document disappeared right before my eyes. Used search to look for the documents but I couldn't find it. And this is my second time this is happening to me. Its now annoying at this point. I saved the document and never left the app as it was uploading to the cloud. I don't know how to retrieve the lost documents or how to fix the issue because i think I am doing everything right. Adobe need to fix this problem because I've seen the same issue with other people

I hace always used the account with Apple credentials, but yesterday I couldn't see my files in the iPhone and in the the iPad, I see them but they won't open.

With the latest update (Version 23.08.22), I've lost the ability to give the app access to my camera or photos. When I open the app, it says "Access to camera has been declined." I click on "Allow access" and it takes me to the Adobe Scan page within the Apple settings, but there is no button to allow access. I'm running iOS 15.7.8 on an iPhone 7. I also added a review on the App Store, but that was before I found this forum.

Where can official bug reports and feature requests be submitted to the Adobe team? I know the available topics include "feature request", but Adobe employees' visits to this forum seem to be few and far between. Scan used to be featured on Adobe's Feature Request and Bug Report Forms, but has been since removed. Has Adobe abandoned Scan in all silence and left it to die? TBH it would explain the apathy in addressing long-standing serious issues raised by its users, and the overall lack of developmental ambitions...

I need to keep my scans in a chronological order in order to keep track of the archival structure, but both Adobe Scan and Acrobat DC refuse to comply. I have defined the sorting order as "Date added", but this is promptly ignored, and both apps continue displaying the files according to the latest time of modification. I hence have no way of keeping track of what archival documents were in which archival folder. One reason might be because Adobe Scan STILL doesn't save any relevant timestamps like, say, creation date, in the scans' metadata. This kind of basic information is crucial and has been requested for years. Why are we still waiting for features that shouldn't even have to be requested?

Why now I can't share the documents that I've scanned with my iPhone using the adobe scan app? 

It used to work correctly. Recently, when I scan save to pdf then try to share it is sending a messages instead to install adobe acrobat to the destination.

I'm in the same situation as many others have been, seemingly without any resolution or any action on Adobe's part. I was modifying a scan in the app, and as I tried to save, Adobe Scan failed to perform and only flashed an error message "Unable to save file" (or "scan", don't remember the exact wording). I thought I'd lost the modifications, which would have been annoying in itself, but unfortunately I soon realised Adobe Scan had actually deleted the entire file. I double checked in the Document Cloud, where all my scans are uploaded automatically, and the file really is nowhere to be found. And per Adobe's fantastic policy, there is no folder for deleted files, and apparently any deleted files are permanently gone.  To reiterate: the file had already been saved in the Document Cloud before I reopened it in Adobe Scan. I did not accidentally delete anything myself, the app indeed notified that it was unable to save the scan (which in Adobelese apparently means that the

My Adobe scan app doesn’t have any of our documents. They all show up in acrobat but when I search for them in scan they don’t come up so I am unable to modify them. I have an iPhone and the other scans were done on android, not sure if that makes a difference. However I can pull up the scans in acrobat I just have no way to modify them. Is there a way to pull up the other scans in my Adobe scan app?

Hi,After I scan, and I go to share the PDF via email, it auto populates a message in the subject line and the message part. It's annoying and never use to. Now I have to delete it every time I scan and email something. How to I stop this from happening?

I want one year subscription, but here its showing only one month subscription, what is step to take one year subscription..? 

One of my scan files is password-protected although I don't recall setting a password for it. I have unsuccessfully tried several passwords to open it. I also tried setting a new password on this Adobe account in case the new password would open the account, but it didn't work. I bought a subscription to Adobe Premium naively thinking I could remove the password as a paid user, but I can't remove the password without entering it first, so I'm disappointed to spend money when I didn't need to. Is there anything else I can do to open this PDF? After looking at this similar post, I tried to enter the file name as a password, but that didn't work either. Thanks for your help.
