Hello, I am triyng to create a rain effect over a landscape video. I found a MP4 video clip on a image bank with raindrops over a transparent background with no alpha. I downloaded a test copy to try it on my video. When I add it to a timeline over the landscape clip I still see the white an black chess like background No transparency. How do I get to see only the raindrops? Is there an effect or a way to do this? Thanks for any help. I attach the test clip

bonjour, alors que Première Pro marchait très bien jusqu'à hier, aujourd'hui il n'y a plus moyen de l'ouvrir. Première Pro se crashe systematiquement à l'ouverture. Je vois qu'en actionnant le logiciel de résolution de problèmes et de compatibilité des programmes que Première Pro est devenu incompatibe??? C'est à n'y rien comprendre. Thank you very much for your reply. I double checked. The footage is 1080p, and the other clips just after and before it are 4K. After reading your answer I think that the fault might be mine, not Premieres'. I might have hit the slow button just beside the video record button on my IPhone. thank you very much for getting back to me.

Hello everyone, I am a new user of Oremiere Rush. (But I have used Première Pro for many years). Recently, while on vacation, I made a short Premiere Rush project to edit and show around some beautiful IPhone 12 4K HDR rushes. After that, when I went back home I downloaded to my computer the video files from the IPhone in order to create a new 4K project with Premiere Pro . I was devastated to discover that the video files that I had edited with Premiere Rush were now only in full HD 1920x1080 in the IPhone and not anymore 4K. I suspect that Première Rush destroyed the source files when I exported the Rush project. Can someone confirm this. Or if I am wrong then tell me how /where I can find the original files? I would very much appreciate this help.

Hello every one. I have the exact same issue. Every time I close a première CC2020 project with rendered clips/sequences, and reopen Première I loose all my rendering. I do not use much AE and the dynamic link, however I do use Warp stabilizer and I am working on a big wildlife project (4K, 26') which requires a lot of stabilization. I have a quite powerful compuer, and I would like to file in a bug for Première (rather than AE). Could you kindly provide a link as the one provided by David but for Première? I have been working on première since 2006, and I have noticed browsing this forum that quite a lot of people have the same issue ... it is very unpleasant I think it is probably a bug that requires attention Thanks in advance Cris

have recently installed the Première Pro CC 2020 update and suddenly both the Première Pro Source and Program monitors went blank. (never happened before)
When shutting down and restarting Première both monitors work for a while, then they go blank again. This happens in a recurrent mode. Sometimes Première crashes as well.
I have updated the pilots of my graphic cards, and emptied the Media cache files.
Can someone help me?

Processor :AMD Ryzen Threadripper 1950X 16 Core
RAM 64 GB

Hello, I have just installed the Première Pro CC 2020 update and after a few hours working well, suddenly both the Première Pro Source and Program monitors went blank. When shutting down and restarting Première both monitors work for a while, then they go blank again. This happens in a recurrent mode. Sometimes Première crashes as well. I have not uninstalled the CC2019 version and when I open an earlier version of the same project under CC 2019 both monitors work. I have 2 Graphic Cards GeForce GTX 1080Ti and I have installed the latest pilot version 441.28 I see that there are many posts about blank monitors issue. But since my monitors work with CC2019 and don't work well with CC 2020, I feel the problem is most likely with CC 2020. I would like to be able to work with CC 2020 and not be stuck with CC 2019. Since I have updated Bridge to the 2019 version I cannot see anymore thumbnails for .MP4 video files when searching in my folders. I can only see thumbnails for .MOV files. Bridge CC allowed to see both. I am sure there must be a setting that I miss that should allow me to see both. Especially that I can see all these thumbnails in explorer for example. I would much appreciate some help. I currently run my computer under Windows 10 64bits. The strange thing is that this import did not work immediately. Actually it failed a couple of times with the renamed filed. Then it worked and I don’t understand why. In the import box it was saying “ sequence not available” and then suddenly after I clicked on the folder again and on the mother folder as well, it became available. A midterm to me. Hello, when I try to import Timelapse jpeg images as a sequence both in After Effects and in Première -( I did check the sequence box and the alphabetical order box) - only the first image is imported. I have previosly imported the raw images in Lightroom to color correct them and exported them from Lightroom as jpeg. I also renamed the images in Bridge to ensure they are named sequentially I am currently traveling and working on my small travel PC Which is a Microsoft Surface Book with the Following parameters: Processor : Intel Core I-7 8650U CPU @1.90 2.11 GHz RAM: 16 Go System 64 bits Windows 10 Professional Graphic card Nvidia GeForce GTX1050 Any help to achieve import sequence is most welcome

Hi Neill, I have at the moment only one GPU installed. My graphic card is a GeForce GTX 10TI - Pilot version 388.13 I see from Adobe support niote of October 4,2019 that "CUDA graphics acceleration will require CUDA 9.2 drivers....therefore there must be a way to get Cuda accelleration..." Hello, I have discovered when running Premiere Pro CC or Media encoder that nor GPU mercury playback engine software only nor the CUDA acceleration are available (they are greyed out) I am running the following configuration, I don't understand why. Actually when installing the new drive I have inadvertedly changed the number of the system drive to "0" therefore Adobe had seen it as a new computer. I have now changed the system drive to "0" and the new drive to 1 and now all is OK. Thanks guys for your help

Après ajout d'un disque dur dans mon ordinateur Adobe Creative Cloud ne reconnait plus ma station de travail, et croit qu'il y a un nouvel ordinateur. Il demande donc de me déconnecter d'un appareil, (car j'ai aussi un portable). Quelqu'un aurait déjà rencontré ce problème et pourrait me dire que faire? I currently have 2 computers. My main worksatation and my PC. I just added a new hard drive inside my workstation. After having added the new drive adobe does not recognise my system and asks me to disconnect one of my 2 computers as it thinks I have a third one. Can anyone help please? Hi Jeff, I checked that render is set to GPU and that my graphic cards are still supported. Maybe I have inadvertedly erased some system file when I cleaned up my computer by erasing Temp files with cc clean. This is when problems began. Or maybe my system is getting too old. I have to start looking for a new one, as I will have soon to edit a big 52' project with 4K source footage. Any tips in terms of where I can find the ideal configuration? again many thanks for your help.

I had the same problem. It appeared yesterday for the first time, while I made the CC2017.1 update months ago. I tried cleaning the media cache but it did not help. Then I remembered that this occurred just after I made changes in Preferences>Media Cache." Save if possible the media files in Media cache next to the original" I had actually checked the boxe and that caused the problem. Now I unchecked it and the problem is solved for me. Hi Jeff, I rendered as you advised and it worked better. It took 1 hour versus 5 hours the first time (but in VBR 2 passes while first time it was VBR 1 pass). Although I still find this time very long. Do you think such duration is normal? The output file is 266 Mo (I encoded with H264 using an Ipad/Apple TV 1080p25 preconfiguration).The sources files are all 4 K, some encoded with GoPro Cineform, edited on a 1080 timeline. I see your point. I should not scale the graphic in Première. The watermark Graphic in photoshop is 410x426 px and the format is png. I want it to be very small on the top corner of the Première sequence which is 1920x1080 px. So far I have inserted the graphic in a layer created with essential graphics and changed the scale of the logo it in there. I have no idea which size to make it in Photoshop to avoid having to adjust it a little in Première. I'll try reducing it by half in photoshop. But I may still have to adjust it. Première is supposed to handle scaled graphics in the titles, maybe the problem is elsewhere.
