Yes that is correct. I am using the "cloud-centric" verson of LR. I know Adobe stores all of my images on thier servers, but I would like a local backup. In the past I have just stored the backups on my Mac, but because of limited disk space I would like to store the backup on an external drive. As I said in the original post, this external drive may not be connected to my Mac 100% of the time. I have attached the dialogue box for selecting a storabe location Thanks

I would like to store a copy of photgraphs on a external removable drive. My primary computer is a MacBook Pro. I take my computer out of the office a lot , the external disk will not be attached 100% of the time. Will this confuse LR? In the evening when I attach the external drive will LR pickup where it left off? Thanks Monty

I have reset the image in the Delelope Module All issues have disappeared. THe issue appears to come up when I increase the shadows to above +55. Maybe that is just the way LrC renders the image??????

I am using a Leica Q2M. All I am doing it importing into LrC A different inquiry, one more of method, not problem solving. I notice you are creating B&W via changing the Treatment in LrC. Have you tried accomplishing that via DxO NIK Silver Effex instead? Via a plug-in. Yes, that would create an export, a TIFF. But you would have more edit capability. I think DxO offers a trial. Yes, I am aware that I am looking at previews. But this behaivoir is wrong. When I zoom to 100% the image look hidious. This this not correct. BTW this only happens with DNG images, not jpg. I imported the photo into the other version of LR (Cloud) is looks correct. Here are two LrC screen captures at 100% One in Library and one in develope. Library Module Develop Module

After importing an image taken at night, I went into the develope module. After making minor adjustments I returned to the Library Module. The image was very grainy. When I return to the Develope Module the image returns to a clean image. Every time I return to the Library Module the image becomes VERY grainy. This happens with or without the VPN. I just signed out of LRCC, turned off the VPN then signed into LRCC. No change
All of the imports are done using my 11” iPad Pro. 99% of my work is on the iPad. Occasional I will use my wife’s 2011 iMac. LRCC work perfectly on the iMac
To whom should I sent the diagnostic log?

When pressing the filter icon on my 11” iPad Pro LRCC freezes for about 20 sec. THis happens on three of my iOS devices. My iPad Pro, an iPhone XS and another iPad. Adobe tells me this is normal behavior with a catalogue of 25,000 photos. I disagree.All software is up to date. There is NO change. I have completely given up. Adobe support is non existent on this issue. I have repeatedly sent screen recording and diagnostic logs. My last communication was a phone call from support asking what version of iOS I was using. Really? How many times to I have to tell them that information Yesterday I updated to LRCC v.4.1.0. 1F43A3 Absolutely no change. I hope you contact support.
