Hi @Aleke, I have been a mac operator using Photoshop since 1990 in the print industry. I have used Photoshop most of my working life, everyday. I am very familiar with the general functionality of Photoshop and have encountered many bugs and disasters over that time.   The connection to Nikunj comment is of no relevance, there has never been an option to turn the current and changed values while using a color adjutment tool on or off. I refer to using tools, like Levels, Curves etc. Attached is a screen shot taken while using Levels on an image, the area under the red arrow should contain the CURRENT values followed by a / then the ADJUSTED values, so a user can see exactly what a before and after color values they will save. The CURRENT values are not displayed, this is the issue. I am using 28.6.1 and I noticed this a couple of weeks ago. Split values seperated by a forward slash of the actual and current correction values have ALWAYS been shown since year dot of Photoshop. No longer they have gone, there is no setting in the info panel to turn this on or off as an option. WHATS GOING ON? ... View more

Hi Amal, your reply here is encouraging that you are reading content.  I have been commenting along with a lot of other pre-press, creative, print users in another post on the two features that are now missing in the latest Acrobat Pro release, the option to view page dimensions permanantly in lower left hand corner and scroll bars now gone!!!!!!   These are both vitally important to speed production, to remove them is beyond belief. I have 35 years under my belt on a Mac using creative software for print and seen a lot of issues... I have to say removing PAGE DIMENSIONS is just about the dumbest thing I have ever seen and will go down in my books as the worst upgrade ever on any software, which takes some doing I can tell you.   If the aim is to steadilly slow down the user so eventually another vendor can move in with all the tools we need and scoop the market with a new product then your on track?  Even the restyled CC from a few years ago is still NOT as productive as the older versions, yes it looks neater, but its not as fast to use. Do you have a user group forum who endorse these downgrades before their rolled out, if so do they work for a competitor?   Please read this forum on the link below and put back the dimensions and scroll bars URGENTLY. As noted elsewhere in these posts, you need to turn the 'Always show document page size' OFF in preferences, then hover works.  Honestly you couldnt make this stuff up...   Shows that the people running things at Adobe have no idea what reprographics, pre-press, print, is and the needs of anyone formatting pages as PDFs actuallty does... the page size is the most basic bit of information, we have all turned this option on as soon as a new install is done... WE NEED TO SEE THE PAGE SIZE!!   We also want the scroll bars back, whoever thought they were unnecessary needs to write out 1,000 times, I must not tamper with processess that my customers rely on. ... I am a professional user of image database systems for sharing and collaborating on work in the design industry and a long term (40 year) user of Adobe products. I only started looking at Lightroom (as its buddled into CC) in the last year and I thought in retiremenrt its the way to go for all personal imagery. However, without being able to share 'Folders' or a 'Collection' of 'Albums' under one link makes Lightroom seem what it is against better systems... more Lightweight and not fit for anyone who needs and wants to share more than one event with another person or group.   For pity sake Adobe, get this sorted immediatly or its game over for Lightroom before I've even begun... Same situation, I am running latest versions of each and its NOT FIXED, only way I have seen reported as a fix is to install the new Logi Options+ Beta  software https://www.logitech.com/en-gb/software/logi-options-plus.html  Not tried it yet, but is that as good as it gets to resolve, dump the exisitng Logi Options and go with a Beta version? ... FYI... This was a LogiTech issue with the MX 3, a user on their forum found a fix couple on months back, which works on any version of Photoshop, took about 10 months to get there. I have had this error for a week and I have Logi Options installed for my MX 3 Mac mouse. Having read a few threads, I have managed to fix using the same process for Logi Options issues in Photoshop.   Open Logi Options, navigate to the 'All Applications' tab, from the drop down list do either of these; If Illustrator is missing add it to the list, then open Illustrator, this was my problem and once added its fixed the script issue. If Ilustrator is listed, delete it (first make a note of customisations you have set up, as you will need to put them back afterwards). Open and close Illustrator, go back to Logi Options and add Illustrator back (plus any customs keys), again it should be fixed.   There have been many issues with Photoshop for months with Logi Options until somone tried this simple fix, it works for most people with Photshop looks like it could do the same with Illustrator.  Logitech cleary have problems when upgrading and linking to Adobe products, this process clears out unwanted Logi Options files and puts new ones back in the right places. Installed version is 8.36.76.. it cant even diplay the text lines itself properly... just about sums it up, thanks for your assiatance on this. I think the best and only option is the Photoshop built in shortcut option of CTRL+Option moving left and right to change brush size and up and down to change softness, this works, its fast, more flexible and does what Logitech clearly cant do   ... I am running the latest version. LogiMgr Installer 8.36.76   I have totally removed old version, re-booted and re-installed, always the same error and no brush size function that works. The app is packaged with and installs the wrong version extension 8.36.40. Only LogiTech know why they have done this. This is an issue many users have on the LogiTech forum, its well reported, thats why we are all waiting for them to produce the next update, which may fix it. ... I have had the same issue for weeks, uninstalled and re-instlalled, I get an error everytime Photoshop starts saying extension not properly signed, the actual LogiOptions version installed is the latest 8.36.76.0 the extension error refers to 8.36.40.0... meaning LogiOption installer is packaged with the wrong extension in Photoshop for the installed version? Anyone else getting this?   I bought my MX 3 (Mac) about 4 months ago, (OS x Catalina) only ever had the brush size working for the first 2 weeks, with software updates after that no brush size options have worked since, beginning to think its just a marketing rip-off and will never work! ... I have the same issue after updating to 21.1.3 yesterday, Hue/Saturation sliders freeze have to force quit Photoshop OS Catalina 10.15.4. Does dumping prefernces fix the problem? Is this the only solution? ... View more

Hi Sanyamt View these in order… 1 open CC2018 Indesign doc 2 View page 3 Add extra page 4 Hit Apple-S to save document, which should be seamless but now causes this save window to pop up. Usually this only happens when upgrading the Indesign to newer version, which is NOT the case. 5 Attempting to overwrite the original file 6 Have to ‘save as’ 7 Attempting to delete original file, its NOT open or being used. Also attached is the original Indesign file and the save as version. I did have the error code 4, started last week after Indesign crashed a few times on one page. After I saved these documents they would not open with error 4 codes even from my desktop, had to close and open Indesign which cleared that problem, but the 'save as’ problem seems to be a repeatable condition now. FYI, I am a graphic designer using Macs since 1990, switched from Quark to Indesign 12 years ago. I know this is very wrong and not working correctly. I had there same issue, which seems partly fixed with the CC Indesign 2018 upgrade released a couple of days ago (running 13.01). Now I can't 'save' to the server, have to 'save as' a new version. The original can only be deleted on the server, not from the client Mac, as it reports as locked. Still not quite there yet on this issue. ... View more
