Wouldn't it be great if Adobe Express could export real, contemporary banner ads? So no static pixel images or classic videos: Interactive/Animated HTML files with SVG's and ClickTags etc. PS: Adobe Animate's not an option: too big, cumbersome and old (or dead).

Why can't Adobe Express still export good, production-ready PDFs? (Bleed, crop marks, PDF Presets etc.) After all, Adobe invented PDF. Industry leader Canva is much further ahead…

You are not using «Save As» as mentionned in the title/description. you are EXPORTING AS… So, while exporting – why should one wanting to overwright the original?

Of course you can change Shortcuts in PS to your wish/needs… if this makes sense. The only difference w/ Mac+PC is that the Right-Click is Mac's CONTROL. And Mac's command is PC's CONTROL. Like myself you will get used to it 😉

Why don't you just export in 2x? Or if needed: Activate the Responsive-Resizing in the Options panel. Also for the Artboards.
