Adobe XD

I can't handle this anymore, XD without fail, becomes completely unresponsive while working on a file. I'm not talking about once an hour but literally every 10 min, the only temporary fix is completely closing all XD windows and restarting the program.  While in its unresponsive state, the properties panel cannot be updated by typing in values, I have to click and drag to increase or decrease any values. When highlighting each value and trying to type a new value they are added into other fields as well, it also does not update any elements with the new values if I manage to type the new values into the correct property, elements only update if change values via clicking and dragging the values of each input in the properties panel.I can't be the only person experiencing these issue, please tell me someone has some sort of solution.

I lost 5 hours of important work on my XD project today! That can't be true!Only the work between 6:45 and 9:50 is shown in the timeline.How can the last status be restored? Thank you for your urgent support. Regards

I am am registered to Adobe Cloud and for the first time l found out that Adobe has a bunch of UI Kits, but p was wondering: is it free to download these UI Kits?  Underneath each Kit there's a blue button saying "Get the Kit" (which should be free to get?), but I am not sure.  Are they free to download , thank you?

I have a screen where I need an overlay to appear as a checked radio button. The button is below the scroll line, but overlays seem to only be available for placing above the scroll line. Thoughts?

So, I  just started yesterday.  I have a few questions? Are you supposed to layer each artboard and group them and name them? 2) I am trying to link one of my buttons to another artboard and for some reason it won't? What am I doing wrong?  I am creating the Hinge Dating App just for practice, I think it looks good, but I watched the video about linking and the little cords, but it seems that when I put the cursor on the button the little blue thing on the side allows for the cord to come out but when I send the cord to where it needs to link to, I get nothing? submittming a photo for all you visual learners. lol. As you can see I'm trying to link preferences to the widen your view button, Nothing! It's fun I'm enjoying it!

Hi my team was using an XD File which had around 700 screens. Suddenly today in the afternoon all the artboards became pure white (all the design and data on that artboard got disappeared). Please let me know how can I get that data back. Will attach one screenshot for reference.

Hi, This is regarding Adobe XD, i created a web mockup(1920*1080px) which has multiple accordion/dropdown menu items in it. Can the adobe XD artboard (or canvas) stretch and collapse as per the accordion movement.  I had to leave a white space or i have to replace the footer content. Hope i have expressed my concern in a right way. please help.  In a simple way, i would say "can we stretch and collapse the artboard/canvas in adobe xd, just the way accordion tabs do".

Hi Everyone! I am learning XD ATM and just made a low-fidelity protptype for a desktop screen.  I have a question that I believe only an experienced designer would be able to answer.  Should I add back buttons to my low-fi prototype? All internet browsers already have back buttons that users will almost 100% use. Without the back buttons, the flow is a bit off, but adding back buttons to the design does not represent what the end product will be and takes up space where I may need to shift elements around just to make the back button fit. 

I created an animated number using an auto animatated bounce transition from 2 different artboards. The number animation works exactly like I want.I have text on the first artboard and removed the text on the second artboart. I also have a button and link that stay in the same place but change copy. I don't want any of this to auto animate. I made sure all of the layers for the button don't have the same name as on the first screen. Is there any way to not have the text animate as well? the text I removed on the second art board and the copy on the button flashes and animates along with the spinner.

Hello Adobe, The XD file project I've been working on for a week for work went missing after I simply restarted my computer. I did'nt do anything but RESTART my laptop. And I just spent / wasted time to be exact a full 24 hours doing research and trying all sorts of "solutions" related to my issue that I could find in the Adobe Support Community trying to locate and open my XD file. The weird part is that on my dock if I right click on the XD fly out menu, my XD document / name of the file I need is there, but it won't open after cliking on it, but it's not in the adobe assets cloud website and it doens't appear anywhere like if I wasn't saving my work.  Before you come up with some quick "solution" to try to help, know that I tried everythin i could find on this community board. I already:- uninstillaed, installed - signed in / signed out- stopped everything adobe on the CPU in activity monitor- restarted computer like a thousand times- I even went to older ve

Hi all, Complicated one but here goes,  I've changed my email address on my team account from a .com to a .co.uk and now when I go to XD all my files have gone. I phoned up Adobe to help me go through the transition and they informed me everything has gone through fine. Not at all!!!In my Admin console I can see under the storage tab that the old user (.com account) has 7GBs worth of files but I have no way of retrieving them. The files seem to be in some limbo land between the accounts.Been on the phone all afternoon with Adobe and they've passed me around a number of call centres with no idea of how to get my files back.I've lost the last years worth of work, which means it will take me months to create all the files again.Does anyone have an email I can use to send in a official complaint and request for compensation.

XD, CC까지 수동으로 삭제하고 cleaner tool을 이용해서 삭제하고그 다음에 다시 설치했는데도XD를 실행하면 로고까지만 보이다가 자동으로 꺼집니다.업무 상 꼭 필요한데 어떻게 해결하면 좋을까요.현재 버전은 54.0.12 입니다. I uninstalled the XD and CC also manually, and uninstalled again using cleaner tool also.The start screen with logo is shut down after few seconds.I have to use this XD essentially for work. How can I solve this problem?Current version of XD is 54.0.12. 

Hi all,  I made several artboards for our website and made prototype out of it. The question I have is, whenever I want to export the artboards to HTML format, some artboards that I defined transition for them would not show up.I searched a lot but unfortunately, I could not find any proper solution for that. Do y’all have any suggestions or thoughts in this regard?Thanks in advance!

  Hi   I'm a first time XD user, so apologies if this is a bit basic.   I've created some pasteboards and set up each one in a desktop format 1940 x 8080.   When I come to preview everything in prototype mode, it displays in a very narrow mobile style format, when I'd like to view it as a desktop site.   Can anyone help please?   Simon <The Title was renamed by moderator>

Hello,I have the problem, that I can see any words in the library. I have try the solution with "CheckNetIsolation LoopbackExempt -a -n=adobe.xd_pc75e8sa7ep4e" in the command line as Administrator. You can see my problem in the attachment. I'd like to do this with a public library. It doesn't seem to be possible at the provided link. I'd like to duplicate a public XD library of standard Bootstrap 5 components, then customize and save my saved copy. It's so easy on Figma. Can it be done in XD?

When the overlay is first connected I can move it fine. When I later come back to the overlay I am not able to move it anymore; the drag arrow is gone. I have to delete and reconnect just so I can move it again.

Hi! I'm fixing a project I did last year where I had a page of a mobile website in adobe XD with a menu for a restaraunt. Basically it looks something like this:ToppingsButter......................$1.00Cream Cheese.........$2.00Egg..........................$4.00 The way I have it typed out, just manually typing the dots, the numbers on the end never align perfectly. In InDesign I would use the tabs panel to fix this, but I can't find a similar function in Adobe XD. Is there a way to align lists like this in XD?

 I have made an component with 3 differen states (Default, Hover and selecterd) (printscreen 1) If I prototype the screen, the hover state apppear and I can select the checbkbox (printscreen 2). If the focus goes outside the hover, the checkbox will come in the de-select state (printscreen 3). Can someone help met with this case?

With Adobe's purchase of Figma, is XD near EOL, and will Figma be included in our subscription just as XD is?

I had a question regarding components creation on Adobe XD.I realized components for each pictogram with a transparent background for them to be all the same size. I would like to add a text on the side of my newly created components. However, if I reduce my second component and change the pictogram, the latter goes back to its "original" size. Is there a way for my pictogram to not change size when I do so?
