Adobe XD

Hi there, I am using a brand new macbook pro with an m1 pro chip and 32gb of ram and experiencing the same issues as on my i7 16gb mbp from 2017.  Issue occures everytime I try to change the element appearance globally like color etc. I also deactivated every plugin ( I remembered performance issues with activated plugins on sketch.app and thought  it might help) but no change. Everything else runs smooth and fast while only adobe xd is not responding. For more infos I attached the log file. Any hotfix available soon? It's really disappointing to see that this problem doesn't seem to be solved, even if adobe xd runs natively on Arm/Apple processors. Thx

Lately the color picker stops working. When you click on it, the space where the preview should show appears black and if you try to copy a color it just picks a 100% transparent black.Restarting the application sometimes restore the functionality and this problem is not file dependent. It has happened in online files as well as local files.

Why is this application always not responding every time I launch or when it is in the middle of an activity? I had to wait a long time to get it, it took approximately 10 to 20 minutes when the application started not responding. Mac OS: 10.15.6Adobe XD: 40.0.22

I have problems with links to prototypes in Adobe XD.I create them with View setting Development and Link access “Anyone with the link”, but users still get issued to login to be able to see the prototype. I have to invite them to make it possible for them to view the prototype. How can this be solved?

From the last update the distance between two objects from different groups doesnt show anymore when pressing command+option.

I handed off my design to the developers and they were wondering what unit the letter spacing and line height have. I am handing off my designs with the XD "for developers" feature. Thanks for helping

I normally highlight an artboard and do CMD+E this would bring up a popup that allows me to select a folder to export to.  However whether I do this or File → Export nothing happens. This issue is going across different XD files too. I tried all forms of Export (batch, export selected, export all) I just tried to Import and that's not working either.  I've updated XD, uninstalled and reinstalled. the problem persists. 

Hi all, I am trying to import my Illustrator artboards into Adobe XD. I have tried this several ways (open with, import, drag and drop..) and every time it says "Error loading document. Invalid document type." Both Illustrator and Adobe XD are updated to the latest. When I try to import the file from within Adobe XD it freezes before it even gives the error. I even tried restarting my laptop. How do I fix this?

I have a fairly simple prototype that has a search panel with a looping lottie animation (representing search processing) and then a time trigger (wired to the artboard) to transition to a new panel  showing the results. Pretty basic - but for some reason the time trigger never seems to fire - I'm wondering if this is related to the looping animation some how and is there any sort of know work around...

Hi can anyone help with this > I got this error today after opening XD once I tried to open it again and receive a license expired Popup saying  ("Your developer license has expired. To continue to use this app, please renew your license.") Please note my creative cloud license is up to date and there doesn't seem to be any issues with my account. thanks

I'm creating a sports video game concept. I'm created an area that lets you pick teams. I've set up the wirefram to move to each block by tapping the down key. It stops working after the second team. It works when it scrolls but I'd like it to scroll to where it's set centered vertically. 

Hi, I have a prototype with some links under sub menu, and they are not working since few days in share mode. It was working lasts days but i have made some change to my prototype and re-share and now thez are not working, i haven't change the menu, just the content under pages. Any ideas ? 

I wasn't sure if this was a known issue. I couldn't find anything on it quickly. When you're trying to change the layout color and use the color picker it breaks the layout. The layout's columns will appear over all of your board's content. This is what happened to the right board when I color picked from the board to the left. There's no way to get rid of it unesss you hit undo.

Take a screenshot of something while you're in XD, and when you paste it, it's HUGE. This really slows things down when you're trying to do ultra-rapid prototyping. How can I paste at the exact size of the element I just copied?  I've seen other people with this issue on other forums but never a solution. Just thought I'd check if anyone had found a solution.  

I am new to XD and am working through the tutorials and am on Step 02: Import Content with Repeat GridPer the instruction in the lesson, I have tried to open the "chair images and text" folder which includes .txt and png files.My issue is that I can't open the folder because all the files are grayed out (as shown in the attached screenshot).How can I open this folder?Thank you.

Hi,  I'm wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same issues as I where I can't work on the same Adobe XD file with someone else because of XD compatibility version issues?  I have a MacOS Big Sur and on my Adobe CC it says my Adobe XD is running the latest version at 39.0.12, whereas my teammate has a Windows PC running XD version 40.0.22. Due to that we can't access/work on the same file. And when he tries to access the file I share I now get this error.  But I can't even update anything since it already says I'm running on the latest version, and there's no update available.  Wondering if anyone else experienced this and got it resolved? Thanks! 🙂 

Hi guys,We are experiencing an issue where a file created in the windows app seems to be incompatible with the mac app.Even though the mac app is the latest version and up to date from the Creative Cloud library.Any advice?

Hello, I have Creative Cloud through a  Graphic Design course at my University. I have been using this membership since the beginning of the school year, since the beginning of September, and it has worked flawlessly until yesterday, even when I bought a new laptop and installed it on there.  Yesterday I was unable to open an XD file my teacher sent me due to it being created on a more recent version of XD than the one I was running, even though Creative Cloud informed me that all of my programs were up to date. I decided to delete and reinstall XD, to see if that would fix the issue, and to my surprise XD completely disappeared from my computer! The error I obtained when I went to the web and tried to install it was "XD has not yet been made available for this device" with no error code, despite me having it installed 4 hours previously. Since then I spent all yesterday and most of today trying to fix this issue, including reinstalling creative cloud multiple

In our UX-Team, we are using synced folders to store all of our XD-Prototypes. Why? Because we we didn't find a better workflow with Cloud, as a XD-File belongs only to one user and you always have to invite the team to be abel to work on that file. And a lot more problems. Anyway, since the day we started working with synced folders, we have dozens of Conflicted Copys in our Folders, with diferent dates and filesizes. After a time it is hard to determine, which is the most recent file. Or can we always delete those conflcted Copys? Waht can be done to avoid these conflicted copies? Thanks.

Hey everyone! I'm trying to get the hover states in the example video to always be at the top, I thought this would be as simple as arranging the hover state to the front but it seems you can only have one at a time. Is there a way to do this?Thank you,Harvey

Hello, I can not delete some of my components any more. Right click on a component, the only options I have are 'highlight on canvas' and 'relink' or 'edit master in source document'. The component is not in my document any more, so I don't know why I can't delete them. Anyone has the answer?   <The title was renamed by moderator>
