Adobe XD

I have been working on a prototype for several months and have meticulously saved and named versions from the history as I have gone along for reference and to use for portfolio. Today I went in to look at one of them, and they are all gone. There are NO saved versions and only 1 week of history. What gives???? I haven't saved them locally as I am new to XD and didn't really I think i needed to. Rely on the cloud? Hahaha. Pretty dumb of me. Anyone have any insight in to where these went and if I am completely hosed or if they still exist out there somewhere in the ethers?

Hi Everyone, I am designing my new website by using XD with the hope to embed the code to adobe portfolio. My intention is only to design the home page which will be simple and elemental per choice.  https://studio7d01.myportfolio.com/  here it is the web page which is a mix of Adobe Portfolio and XD. I am satisfied overall, but not really with what happens when clicking the thumbnails (not all of them can be clicked on it, per choice). When creating a component, the pannel is set to show up to 5 component states.  But when component is finished and you click again to select states to create actions, the pannel is now set to show only up to 3 states. This is a v frustrating user experience.  Not to mention, it is always jumping to the first state, so I have to scroll until the state I am, showing always only 3. the scrollbar is extremely small, I am not here to make any destructive criticism, I am just really struggling to work with those conditions. 

A designer from our company created a design spec. They are no longer with the company, and we need to download an archive version of the specs for our company archive.

I have a situation going on with my adobe XD team projects area that we set up two weeks ago, after the latest update of XD - version 44.1.12.5 - creative cloud sync 4.21.1.1 it vanished, meaning myself and the team losed our projects that we had setup - this included our whole design system, which to be frank, took us a long time to do.    Now my IT department, who has access to admin console for adobe licenses says they ain't anything in there that would remove it....  I have being on several calls with adobe now (Adobe Case ADB-21557947-L9N8) adobe now and they cant tell me anything new, the latest response is almost insulting... I'd like to have the feature of resizing artboard by just double click on either edges so it snaps, rather than anxiously drag to resize, which never be as precisely bound to the content's bottom.

Hi there, I'm hoping to add some very simple, looping animation to a background in one of my projects. Essentially, I want the background image to pan from left to right, while interactive icons exist on the layers above that will direct to new artboards. To do this, I've created a series of time-triggered artboards, throughout which the background changes position accordingly. I then set up the interactive elements—icons that are supposed to glow when hovered over, and direct to new artboards when tapped—and copy them to each of the artboards in the background animation cycle. When I preview, the background animation looks right, but I lose any interactivity of the icons. If I disable the time-triggered cycle that causes the background animation, the icon interactivity is restored. Is there no way to have both? A previous post I made dealt with a similar issue. is this just not possible with XD? Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Hello! I've been having trouble with a Scroll Group of any component within an artboard for a while.Every time I create a horizontal or vertical scroll group, the browser's native scroll bar appears at the edges. When exporting a link, I always export for development and with downloadable assets. Any solution?NOTE: My XD is updated to version 44.1.12

I have a single master library file to control my components. As of the last update, every single file that depends on that library are showing broken links. How do I tell the broken components to update from the master file. I can send files showing the problem. Thanks.

Hi, Im not too fimiliar with XD but was wodering is it possible to use XD to share some artboard (with banner formats) with a client to review? The banners will need to be at the correct native pixel dimensions (160x600) and to appear in a page for the client to see how things will look at the size shared. cheers lister

Unable to update the link, I am seeing the Erroe 44:15, its updating till 90% and then throughing up.

My component is grouped in a grid and is comprised of days first scrollable row and then times on a second row.  I need the days to retain their position once the user selects any day (change in state) but XD does not let me click on the fix positoon when scrolling box. I see the box and it let's me click on it but then the checkmark dissapears. Please help soon. I have until Sunday to finish this use case and its Friday afternoon already. Thanks!

After embedding my prototype inside a Shopify website and publishing it live. I cannot seemed to see my prototype image on my phone. Take note that its only on mobile chrome. But, it works on laptop chrome. What can be the problem here?

I have tried getting it to work. I followed the instructions in the Microsoft website. I also followed everything on the adobe help website. It still does not work. Dear all, I have a project that I was workin on, however I tried to add three SVG icons in one time. The app couldn't handle it. I have closed adobe XD and now trying to open it. The app opens but when I try to open my project, the apple rainbow appears and continues to turn indefintly. Anyone could help me to sort it out ? I don't want to loose my project...

When trying to share a prototype with some team members in my organization I am getting an error "There was an error sending invite. Please try again." I cannot figure out how to fix this issue and it has been happening for days.  Any advise?

Adobe XD can't be installed on LTSC 1809 ?This is still in mainstream support from Microsoft until 2024.LTSC 1809 can't be updated past 1809, that's the entire point of LTSC.How can this be remedied?  thanks 

I have .xd files saved in my computer. every time i try to view a file saved locally in my computer it gets uploaded to the cloud automatically even though i hadn't edited. Is there anyway to stop this behavior?? I started using XD fairly recently.

When logging into a shared document on the cloud to edit it, a 'connecting...' modal shows for a few seconds then XD flickers while it attempts to connect to the cloud. I've gone through all fixes I can find in the forum to no avail, so I ran the Log Collector tool and uploaded this file: AdobeLogs_20211019_045041_422-win.zip I'm unable to do any collaborative editing with my team due to this issue, so XD is dead in the water for me until this is rectified. Thanks for any assistance,Elia

Hi, I tried exporting my artboards by clicking Share > Export for Android and generating a link: https://xd.adobe.com/view/fa9c8ba1-0750-4574-82ef-da0b3d92e1e0-afcf/ but the artboards appear blank on the comments page. It's only when I click on the 2nd button below that that the artboard appears and I can see the designs. Anyone knows how to fix this?? Thank you!

I just lost over 100 custom tap actions because I fixed a typo in my menu component. Ever single prototype tap link I'd set up disappeared.  

XD hangs while trying to type a text or edit an existing text. I am getting this issue when I use xd for more than 6 hours and it is not a system performance issue as my other applications are running fine.

Un second composant est imbriqué à l'intérieur, nommé Navigation, lequel mettant en avant quelle partie du carrousel est actuellement visible par l'utilisateur. Ci-dessus : État par défaut du composant Accueil, montrant la première tuile du carrousel. Suivant l'état de mon composant Accueil, le composant Navigation change ainsi que les informations et l'image de fond mise en avant.  Ci-dessus : Second état du composant Accueil, montrant la seconde tuile du carrousel. Le composant Navigation change lui aussi d'état pour montrer le changement de tuile. C'est à la phase "Prototype" que mon problème se pose. En effet, en changeant l'état de mon composant Navigation par "Actif", je souhaiterais que par l'action de cliquer le composant Accueil change lui aussi d'état, mais

Dear Community I begann to use Adobe Xd just recently within the last 3-4 weeks. I am collaborating with an external UI/UX specialist (he works on a Mac). Maybe someone has an idea what I can do to improve my experience/performance with Adobe Xd on Windows (except switching on a Mac ;-). Here are our work settings:Adobe Xd files saved in the Adobe cloud to collaborate the work, therefore has to be in Adobe cloud.Our mockups are published on xd.adobe.com for reviews.Mac User has no issues.Windows user has issues (see bellow) Windows user issuesVery bad performance of Adobe Xd (On an actual AMD Processor and a RTX 3090 graphicscard with 64 GB Ram - nice machine)Editing of labels initially after Adobe Xd starts works fine, after a while the editing gets awkward.
