Adobe XD

i have 5 components. each has a default state where you can only see a button, and another state where you can see a transparent image in the area beneath the buttons. in prototyping this project, the user should be able to toggle on and off the images at will by clicking 1 of the 5 buttons, and the layers remain in the same order (5 is always the bottom layer, 1 is always the top layer) no matter which order you turn them on and off.problem is, an xd component hotspot area is not definable, it's just the shape of the whole component by default. which means the top layer is always triggered, even when there is no content in that area of the component. this would be an easy fix to create an interaction mask that makes only a certain area of a component interactive.i jerryrigged it by getting rid of the buttons and using the keys & gamepad trigger to avoid this, but functionally it's a very different user experience. is there another way to handle it?https://xd.adobe.com/view/2f6974b

I want to create a simple combo box drop down menu with about 10  menu items.I ad a rectangle shape and a caret icon in the corner then add a text field.I then draw the same shape without the icon and just the text.With the second rectangle and the text selected I create a component. called InactiveItemI next create a hover state on the InactiveItem and change the color of the component artwork.That covers the hover interaction for each menu item (except the selected menu item). Next, I create a repeating field where this component is copied for each menu item.I change the text on each menu item.Next, I select the entire collection of things and create a component. called MenuOpen Since I have 10 menu items, do I have to then create 20 states so that each menu item (when selected) appears at the top with the others hidden and then 10 additional states for when the menu is open? Then I link all of the items (9) in the menu to their related closed state. Is there something down or broken right now with link sharing? Our clients can't view our XD links anymore without being prompted to sign in / create an account. It loops straight to this page:          "Anyone with the link" is always selected on our designs and they do not have any voice features enabed. If this isn't fixed asap it will be a huge problem that could potentially lead our company to dropping Adobe entirely, we cannot burden clients or team members with having to create an account just to view / share design work.  

I currently work in a digital agency which the designers use MacOS and Windows.A issue we constantly get is if we both jump in and out of the same file - the fonts have different heights. This then becomes an issue because the margins are then wrong for one of us.Is there a fix for this? or can it be fixed in a future update of adobe XD.Thanks,Conner

How do I export my adobe xd project as a .zip file or a .xd file. I am using a macbook air 2017, can someone please help me 

As a Coursera student, I was offered a free 9 month trial of Adobe XD which will be needed for the remainder of this certificate program. I just logged on to install it, but my computer is too old and I don't have money to biy and upgraded computer. How can I put my free XD trial on pause until I can afford to buy a new computer?

I am a novice developer and I wanted to know what could be the workflow for creating a Desktop Application using Adobe XD, plugins I could use to export the artboards and the programming language/languages that I could use to write the code in.

I'm getting this error continuously every time i open the XD app after few minutes this error pops up and shows this error and once i close the popup the app will also crash and closes..  Can someone assist what could be the reason, and why is this happening ? PFA

 SO SIMPLE. please help.  The basic multi select feature isnt working. I can select multiple objects with shift, but not with CMD button.  Multi select worked perfectly for me using a windows machine. (hold control and select objects)However, on my new mac using XD the multi select with CMD does not work. (I've tried using other buttons to see if it got changed somehow) - I can multiselect if I go over to libraries and hold the command key... But trying to multi select anything on my artboards using the command (or any other key) does not work.  Please tell me how to resolve this simple simple request ahaha.  Thanks guys

If I use the object 'with Shadow', it is not rendered properly in the shareable link (refer the image below). I have been facing this issue recently after the version update 25.3.12.1. I have all the permissions turned on for it to work but I can only copy and paste into the URL link only not have it properly setup as the sheet selection ? i keep getting an error... how did you solve this 

Hello, I just installed Adobe XD and when I start it it's not maximized. I maximized it and then reopened it but still the same thing. It again goes to half on the screen. Any ideas? Thanks

Hello! I have recently installed Adobe XD for a project but I very quickly realized that the program was not detecting any keyboard input meaning I can't use shortcuts, input numerical values, or add text areas. I am running on windows 10 up to date, video drivers up to date.I have the free version of Adobe XD. which is up to date and has no plugins/extensions installed.The keyboard works in all other applications. I hope there is a solution to this! Thank you for your help!

I am having a problem where a button is moving position from one state to the next. For example, a button is at location X: 10 Y: 10 while in it's default state; but in it's hover state it nudges to X:12  Y:10. The button would then change position again to X:5 Y:17 in it's active state. The button consists of just a rounded rectangle and 1 word of active text.This is happening with more complex components as well, and the position is changing by hundreds of pixels in positive and negative directions.

Weird one, I have a transparent png file and wanted to change its color. Too bad, it's not working BUT, worse than that, XD removes the image. I can see in the layer panel that before, the image had an… image icon.After picking one color, the image disappeared and only the rectangle shape is there. I cannot always count on seing it immediately, if I realise too late, then I might have a lot of work lost… 

I worked 375 size, and Export to iOS 3x.but Exported file size are @1x > 120, @15739213 > 250, @11199216 : 375 I want that 375 is 1x.How Can I get that I want? 

Why is the 3d transform does not showing in my adobe xd?

Bonjour,  Pour faire simple, ma tutrice a XD sur Catalina et moi sur Big Sur, nous sommes toutes deux à jour mais pas sur les mêmes versions et lorsqu'elle m'a invité à collaborer sur une fichier, dès lors que je l'ai ouvert sur mon ordi, elle ne peut plus y accèder. On lui demande de faire une màj qui n'existe pas pour elle. C'est une sauvegarde sur son Creative Cloud (je présume, c'est arrivé en remote). Toute aide serait la bienvenue, elle doit récupérer l'utilisation à 100% de son fichier.

And now i want to develop the same plugin in Illustrator .Is there any way to convert the XD plugin with slight modification for Ilustrator. Hi All I am trying to import a psd project into XD, but i am finding that the GUI is getting distrorted. This is the GUI in adobe photoshop When it gets inmported into XD this is how it looks.  Is there away to correct this from happening?
