Adobe XD

Libraries / Document assets pane. All the text is cut off. See the following images. It's the latest update version of XD, problem was there before the update. I've already tried uninstalling and reinstalling.  Thanks for any help!

I am having this issue with a few files now. We have all of our master assets - character styles, master components, etc. - laid out in the document assets panel. However, all of a sudden now when we try to update a master component, to change the character style - it won't update. Sometimes it will take the change (ie. it will take the font change) other times it simply reverts to what was initially done. We created a master component for the navigation, and when we try to update the master component, it won't change it on any of the instances. This is a HUGE deal because one of the sites we have is extremely large, with many different pages. We can't possibly be expected to go through and manually change each and every single component because the master isn't updating.  Mac Ventura 13.4.1 (22F82)XD 57.0.12.14 x64CC Sync 6.5.3.1 Please help!

Adobe Xd Very aesy to use. 

I get the following error message when I try to open an Adobe XD link that has been shared with me."creative cloud services aren't activated or they aren't offered in your location"Not sure what this is about, but we're an international company that collaborates across countries. location restrictions would be somewhat problematic.

I want to duplicate a component.  Now I'm doing a trick for this;New File - Paste Component - Make Local Component and then Move to Original Document 🙂

I have this row with 5 white boxes where each box have a 1 px border. I grouped all boxes to add a drop shadow to the shape but it's not possible cause there are no shadow available in the properties panel. The only way to make the shadow properties to appear is to double click one of the rows in my group, I'm then able to add shadow to that single element, but that's not what I want. I want the shadow to be applied to the whole list as one element. Is this a bug? Why can't I add a shadow to a grouped element?

Hi, I've created a component that includes a dropdown in the toggle state. The component contains the last sections of information in this mobile layout. I need to add extra length to the background color to contain the content when the component's is in the open toggle state. But when the component is set back to default I now have too much empty background space beneath it. How do I get the background to adjust when the component toggles? I'm including screen caps to further describe what I'd like to do. Thanks for the help!

Hice un prototipo en XD y antes se demoraba mucho en abrir, pero ahora ni jalando el proyecto desde creative cloud, abre. Ya lo reinstale 3 veces. 

Hi all,   When updating my design library/design system in XD, I often get this error in XD the first time I press the "Update" button:     When I press "update" the second time, the library updates successfully and this error doesn't appear anymore. Every update I have to do, I face this issue again.   May I ask what this error means and how to fix it?   <Title renamed by moderator>

why XD doesn't have auto animation option for Components Like other platforms we can animate a component and use in the artboard the componenet auto animates without any interaction.

Bonjour,depuis ce matin je n'ai plus accès à un fichier en particulier qui présente une erreur 86 suivi du message "Document XD invalide". Pourtant il fonctionnait parfaitement hier et les autres fichiers manipulés hier fonctionnent en dehors de lui. je suis sur Windows 10,je suis sur la version 57.0.12 du logiciel et j'ai testé la 55.0.12 et la 56.1.12,j'ai tenté de désintaller Creative Cloud et de réinstaller,le fichier est stocké sur un Google Drivemon collègue ne peut pas l'ouvrir non plus Merci beaucoup.

My team and I have been getting a message when we first open our files that we have a component in our shared library with more than 20,000 layers. This component that's called out has nowhere near that amount of layers, however. It has a little over 100 layers including all of the vector icons and masks. 

I'm going to rant for a moment, so please just indulge me. So I am working through the XD portion of the Coursera Google UX/UI course and I went to work on my assignment today only to find that it says my XD trial has expired and  evidently, XD is no longer available to use as a single app, and it doens't even appear to be part of the all app plan anymore either. Fortunately there is a plugin to transfer the file over to Figma, but it looks like I am going to have to rebuild every component and interactive element and  redo every prototype connection. That's such a gut punch, as the project was about 99% complete and all I had to do was clean up a few elements. Everything I've read about Adobe supporting existing users appears to be rubbish. End rant.

Hi, I'm having problems with testing a prototype on my phone. It seems that the app I made is working properly on my Mac laptop. However, when I test it on my phone, some buttons are not functioning. Do you know what the problem might be?

To correctly use the animate feature you sometimes need to drag objects off screen. However when I do this they automatically get transfered to the pasteboard. I need them to stay on the original artboard, is there a way around this? It was working a couple hours ago, I must have hit a hot key.

Maybe you can help me. I trying to do like an accordian drop down menu. I have three sections: 1-3 have been successful to go to the next page, after the drop down. I have create an arrow to go back to the main menu. However, when I click on the 2nd row and the 3rd row to make sure the page and forth on the main menu is smooth (before going to the next page), The drop down for the second row does not come down and would jump to the next page for the 1st section. Can you tell me what I am doing wrong? This is a project for a client.

i can't find or see adobe xd in the list of app and i cant install it on macos ventura.

Hi,I keep on creating accidental new Flows when trying to simply move my artobards, especially when zoomed out. That's becuase of the Share icon that appears on top of the artobards which is much bigger than the ellipses (or artboard name) that I'm trying to grab.So what can I do to remove the accidental flow?Cmd+Z somehow didn't always work, so I went in to check in the Share mode panel that you are inadverently taken to. There you can only Manage flows which takes you to the browser with all your Adobe links etc. You can delete the links from there but the Flows remain in your file.OK, so since I've found out that you can delete Flows by going into Prototype mode and untoggling the home of the flow.My point is, if there was a logical step to remove or undo the Flow in the panels that you are taken to then perhaps I wouldn't have found this so frustrating. Hello all, is there a way to export all assets at once? It's totally unproductive to export all assets from a large project one at a time. I can't see the XD added value here: I create a large prototype and then... what? Do I need to spend lots of (other) time exporting all assets for the Devs? Hello everyone,   I am currently trying  to build an accordion menu. Here I have two problems:   1. Problem: Below the accordion menu is text. As soon as I open an accordion item and the accordion menu grows, it overlays the text that is placed below the accordion menu. How can I make it that the text below the accordion moves with it instead of overlaying?   2. Problem:  An accordion consists of different items. These items are divided into 'header' and 'content' (which is visible or invisible for the User depending on the interaction). Now I want to implement a switch in my header element so the User can click on the header once to expand and collapse the content and additionally he has the possibility to make settings with the help of the switch to approve or reject the content. Here I always have the problems that the switch does not work  properly, but sometimes also reacts to the fade in and out of the content. I already have chosen different intera

I updated to v57 and sinds then updating or creating links takes very long. I started with a big file and it took 30 min instead of almost 1 minute. After experementing I realised that it doesn't matter how big the file is it is always slow.A file with one small page it still takes almost 10 minutes.  How do I fix this?Thank you for your help!Maxim
