Hola, desde hace unas horas estoy presentando un fallo en el que me aparece el aviso de error de expresion utilizando las expresiones q trae el programa por defecto, todo empezo cuando hoy cuando trate de abrir un proyecto q incluia la expresion Zoom - giro 2D y a partir de ahi no consegui manera q volviera a funcionar, ya desinstale el programa 3 veces y nada, adjunto un video para q vean mi problema--------Hello, for a few hours now I have been experiencing a problem in which I get an expression error warning using the default expressions that the program brings. It all started today when I tried to open a project that included the Zoom - Rotate 2D expression and from then on I couldn't find a way to get it to work again. I have already uninstalled the program 3 times and nothing. I am attaching a video so you can see my problem.

Hi,Every time i try to apply the advanced 3D to any layer (f.e. a solid or even text) , it says this:"advanced 3d plugin generated an unexpected exception" and then after effects closes/crashes. I tried a couple things but nothing worked. And google isnt helpful either. Any ideas?:) ---------------System info    Application: After Effects v24.1.0.78    OS: Windows v10.0.19045, RAM: 15.95 GB GB, CPUs (logical): 12

My project opened fine a few days ago, but today it gave an error and won't open at all. I think some of the issues involved installing fonts and a new version of After Effects. I'm so frustrated. Hi,   Can someone help me? Advanced 3D does not appear on my After Effects. I have an RX 6600. I have the impression that the software does not recognize my GPU.

Multi frame rendering now crashes consitently on my PC, tells me that my gpu runs out of ram.I have a RTX 5090.

I now open the project and it crashes after a while. Sometimes it crashes directly. My driver is the latest version, and AE is also the latest version. I don’t know what the problem is, so I can only come here for help.

Just this morning when I tried to double-click a comp in my timeline to open it (like I have a hundred times before) it doesn't open it. Instead it brings it into the window like it was footage.However, If I right-click and goto "Open Comp" it works fine, it just takes far longer. Any idea how to change it back?

How do I conform my 4:3 or 16:9 video to form a circle? I am not talking about cropping a circle in or out of my video. I am talking about changing the shape of my video so that the edges smoothe out to circular, the video distorts accordingly, and forms a cirlce in my sequence space. I have tried spherize, but it doesn't really do what I am looking to do.  I have a camera angle upshot from the middle of a football huddle.  I am trying to actually convert the video to a 360 degree video.  I figured out how to fake a 180 degree video, and I also figured out that I can take the video and put it in Action Director and it will automatically populate into a 360 degree space..BUT when it does os, it looks kind of like a stretched pringle chip with straight edges on the left and right and that has corners that pinch.  What I want is the video to drape down around me with the bottom edge being a 360 degree circle.  I can move the video to the top of my 360 degree space

Hi,   I have an after effects file I have been working on for a client. I just had the client on to run through final amends on a 5 minute film and I am getting the error message: AFTER EFFECTS WARNING: YUR PROJECT FILE IS APPARANTLY DAMAGED (SKIPPED SECTIONS: 😎 PLEASE SAVE USING A DIFFERENT NAME. ( 26 :: 0 )   I have looked all over google for a solution but can't find one. I have no backups to fall back on as I had been working on it from home. I tested the file yesterday at work and it worked fine so I then deleted the back up from my hard drive which obviously I now regret.   If anyone had any ideas of how I can recover a weeks worth of work I will be forever grateful.   Many thanks,   Paul.   PS if more information is required please ask.   [Moderator: Moved to the After Effects forum]    

 Hello,  I managed to google and use AI to write this script - it crops the selected layer to the layer above. Works well! But I'd also like it to move the last two keyframes on the position property to the layers new outpoint. I'm not sure if scripts are able to move keyframes like that? I haven't been able to find anything that works when adding it to this script. var selectedLayer = app.project.activeItem.selectedLayers[0]; var layerAbove = selectedLayer.index - 1; var layerAboveDuration = app.project.activeItem.layer(layerAbove).outPoint; selectedLayer.outPoint = layerAboveDuration; Any suggestions would be amazing. Thank you

Ce robot a deux types d'animation : soit son œil translate de gauche à droite, soit il reste fixe tout en scintillant.J'ai créé ces deux animations à l'aide de deux calques et j'ai effectué deux rendus avec chacune d'entre elles.Par contre, comme j'ai créé ces deux calques dans le même projet, si je veux passer d'une animation à l'autre, je dois aller au fin fond des compositions et masquer/démasquer les deux calques.Ma question est la suivante : est-il possible d'afficher, par exemple, dans une petite fenêtre à part (ça serait extraordinaire), une case qui ferait que, si je clique dessus, elle masquerait l'un des deux calques pour affiche

What I want is to have a pixel perfect separation distance across each letter of a word:So, from the very side edges the distance between each letter to another must be exactly the same.Snap to grid was my first thought but it doesn't work because you will never get both sides of a letter to touch a grid line Any suggestions?

Hello, for grading I'm trying to create an alpha matte for the VFX Layer, I've attached a pic of how the Composited Layer looks like in AE that was applied to the original shot, how can I turn just the red blood parts into an alpha matte? As currently it exports all the white parts as part of the matte too? It's made up of multiple of layers.  

There are users not familiar with the After Effects feature that allows you to drag a numeric property value in the timeline into the Composition Panel to display this value dynamically. is there any way to have a second alpha track matte for another layer?One way would be a pre comp, but is there any way without a pre comp?

created a map graphic in illustrator and want to convert vector to shape in after effects to extrude using cinema 4d but coming up with this error - After Effects error: TDL: outline contains triangles that are too small to be rendered. Check for very thin triangles in original artwork. (88::3)Have tried simplifying the illustrator file (deleting unneeded points, simplifying number of points) and purging memory and disk cache but no luck 😞 any thoughts? Thanks

(J'ai testé aussi avec un calque texte)Quelqu'un connaît le problème svp ?

I have my label colors set to highly saturated color because that's how I want them. But now with Ae2025, if I select the 'Dark' theme, all of these colors are darkened as well. If I wanted the label colors darker I would make them darker in the Label preferences. At a minimum, this should not be the default behavior. Ideally you should include a switch to make it optional. Please fix this!

I have custom render settings and output modules, but Creative Cloud does not transfer them to updated AE versions. What can I do?

I have the new MacBook Pro M4, I had a Macbook Pro 2021 (intel) where I downloaded and installed CC. Now, I am trying to download AE and nothing happens, (when I transitioned to this new laptop all the apps including AI tranferred and downloaded with no problems using the Migration Assistant). I checked the compability specs and its says Mac Sonoma and others and I have Mac Sequioa, which doesnt seem to be listed), could that be the issue of why I can't update or download new/existing Adobe Apps? Note: I usually use CC and all Adobe Apps on desktop PC at work, I want to use on Macbook Pro for convience and pratice at home, and I am the owner of the account as well.
