I've run on safe mode and restarted preferences. It keep crashing Sometimes it opens without crashing, so i can do some work - but when i work with Tracker and either try to change the options to "stop when under x% confidence" or try to simply apply the tracking data to a layer, it crashes with this message:Last log message was: <72305> <RenderThreadExecutor> <1> Creating executor with 10 threads. Worst thing: the crash logs are empty(atleast to the ones i find in ~/Library/Logs/Adobe/Adobe After Effects 2025Help

Hi all,some strange problem occured recently using After Effects 25.2.2. When i try to overlay Footage (Gold Particles on black background) using add or screen mode for example., the Black part of the Footage is darkening the layers below. No 3D layers involved. Did anything change recently in how those modes work?Thanks in advance!

I cannot generate previews in both recent versions of Adobe Premiere and AE. I get 1-5 minutes of edit time, then they freeze or the window turns black, and then I get a pinwheel. I have tried to roll back the software, but the same issue persists there and in the most recent Betas.Premiere 25.2.3AE 25.2.2APPLE M3 MAX48GB RAMMacOS Sequoia 15.516 Core (12 performance and 4 efficiency).I've made new files without the same file this is happening in, and the same issue persists. Hi, I would like to add in a text with bullet point, but I cant seem to get it with the right formatting. I did attempt to format it in illustrator (using tabs and paragraph spacing) before copying and pasting, but to no avail. anyone knows how?

My question is fairly simple but haven't found a good solution yet. The image below shows all key-frames have been placed on a layer I am wondering is there any ways that can quickly space out those dots evenly. like this image below:I use photoshop / illustrator as well. they have a series of buttons like this: Does After Effect has something similar tools like that as well? if not, how can i quickly achieve the evenly space out dots.Thanks, Appreciated

Hey! Does any of you kind people have any experience with using the bodymovin plugin to convert AE animations to JSON files? I'm just doing a basic handwriting effect and plays out perfectly on AE. But when I export it, the things a mess. It writes all at the same time and misses out half the letters? Any help would awesome. Thanks folks!Gareth.

Hi, I've been having a problem where I flat out can not use my 4 brush related tools in my toolbar in AE (desktop). I get no error code, it's simply when I click on either brush tool, clone stamp tool, rotobrush, or eraser tool, it will not change my cursor to that tool and doesn't work as if it is either, every other tool works. Using the keyboard shortcuts does not do anything different.  It acts as if they don't exist and clicking them only highlights the tool in the toolbar but nothing else. I've tried new compositions, updating, restarting, uninstalling, new workspaces, reset preferences, driver updates and probably more I cant think of. I'm aware that brush tools can only be used in the original layer source panel by double clicking on the clip, still doesnt work. If anyone has a way to fix this I need it desperately. Thanks.

Also I'm not talking about the setting "Hardware accelerated composition, layer, and footage panels". Premiere Pro has the abillity to disable it but I can't find it on After Effects. GPU Accelerated UI Rendering causes the premeire pro/after effects window to lag when dragging it around or hovering over most UI buttons have "phantom" effects. It also makes the timeline and other stuff very slow. I never had this problem in Premiere Pro v24.

Hello,so I’ve downloaded an episode of a TV-series and when previewing all I hear is the background sound, not the voice of the actors. I’ve tried using .avi .mp4 but nothing seems to work (I‘m not really good at codecs and conversions). Help me please.Thanks in advance,alisic.kevin

Every time I open this one specific project it plays only half of it then completely freezes and won't preview any more, it also crashes every time I try to save. I've tried disabling my plugins, it doesn't help, and this doesn't seem to be happening in my projects which do use plugins, only this one project. It was working just fine and then it just suddenly stopped working. I've tried everything: changing my audio output, clearing all my cache's, disabling plugins, checking if I have any old ae apps downloaded, and literally nothing works so I've came here to try and see if anyone can help.Only happens in one project and it is so annoying, I'd much rather not have to redo all my hours of work. Please give some ideas on what could help, thanks!

Hi, I copied pasted the 'path' of the 'Line layer' into circle's 'position; property to animate it along with the line's path. but the scale gets bigger once I paste it.. Why does this happening. I drew it in Illustrator then used overlord (App) to bring the path into AE and scaled it a bit before I animated the 'Line' layer using trim path. Please help me.    

When I use duik, I select the desired hand shapes and start the generation by selecting the wrists from within the humanoid. As in this picture, there is no automatic connection between the bones and the illustrator layers. I have been repeating it like in the videos but I am not getting the connection. What can I do, how can I fix this? y.t. videostep 1step 2   

It's really starting to get old dealing with Adobe and their buggy products. My workflow is constantly getting screwed up by some stupid flaw in the software. Used to be having the top end Mac that's less than a year old would mean something. It's just one thing after another and it doesn't end with every update. What are we paying for? What are their developers doing to the software? This isn't how it used to be when you paid once and you got a version. Now it's like we're getting punished for having a monthly subscription. As I work on a tight deadline today, The new issue is you can't get the dropdowns to work. You can click on them. They'll flash for a sec and then they'll disappear. I'm on my third restart and it keeps happening and I'm about a half hour behind because of this. This is almost as fun as yesterday when the timeline would start but not stop until I forced quit. It just kept playing the timeline over and over on loop. At what point designers do we say e

Specifically, the Opactiy Animator property does not interpolate/animate between selected and unselected states and vice versa. Hello!  I've used AE quite a bit for fairly simple 2D animations. Now I need a very simple 3D object (a propellor) to spin, and the hub it's on to spin as well. The style of artwork is very simple vector ... an outline and a color inside. Two questions:1. How best to make this simple 3d shape?2. and... to match the rest of the artwork , it really needs a stroke (like some of the 3d cars you see in Family Guy, for example). Is this easy? it seems hard considering that the 3d object is rotating, now does the stroke stay on the perimeter?

 

I've got footage that I took via hand held so it is pretty unsteady.  But I have a gray plane (F-22 in this case) against either a nice blue sky or white fluffy clouds.  In both cases, it seems like it would be easy to track.  Many frames have motion blur due to the fact that I can't keep the camera steady but even with the nice clear clean frames, the tracker has problems.  There are times when it can go for 30 to 60 frames which is great but there are also times when it stops after eacy frame and I need to adjust it. I've set the options so that it stops tracking if confidence is below 80%.  I've tried RGB, Luminance, and Saturation.  I've tried with and without "Enhance Before Match".  I often set the point on the nose of the plane and set the inner square to about half way up the nose and the bigger square to be about twice as large as the inner square. Nothing I've tried seems to make a significant difference.  I'm wondering i

Hello,I'm working on a very large image (16,000 * 2,000 px) and I'm having a problem displaying my layers to which the "Wave Warp" effect is applied:when I work in "half" resolution everything is normal, but when I switch to full resolution, all these layers disappear both from the after display and from the exports. Do you have a solution to this problem? Thanks in advance

the program crash my tablet and after effects as well at the same time I have to reset the pc in order to keep working it does it randomly when ever I click on a value on the left side panel ( effect controls) it does not really matter what effect I'm using.
