Hi, I have a problem that already fixed by myself but better if it's fixed by the developers.So when i update my audio on a comp and then go outside the comp, i see my waveform still used the old audio waveform not the new audio that i just puted in to the comp.The solution is to turn off and then turn on again the audio icon on the comp and then it fixed, the audio waveform just updated.i Think the old version doesnt have this kind of problem before, so please help us fix this little bug, cuz this bug sometimes anoying for who dont know yet.

Hi everyone, ever since I updated AE to version 26.0.0 I have experienced render times as much as ten times slower than it used to be in version 25.x.x. For now, I have rolled back installation to a 25 version, but I would very much like to keep up with the versions, including all new features.I read somewhere that I'm not the only one bumping into this problem.What can I do to solve it? To be clear: I can create a project in v 2026 and it renders terribly slow; when I save it as 25.x version and then switch to AE v2025 everything works at proper render times.Will there be an update for v 2026 that solves this problem?

Hello there :)I’ve been working on my desktop PC for about 4 years now and despite some issues with an SSD NVMe and a recent problem with a a damaged USB PCIe expansion card that caused my PC to lag as hell before I identified the problem and removed it, I am quite happy with it. I produce music and am a motion-graphics designer, so I use lots of softwares and plugins and the PC is quite robuts to handle it, even on tight schedules for my clients and big renders (over 4K with plugins such as Element 3D or Deep Glow, Shadow studio, Handy cam, etc.). I’ve been watching a lot of tests that point to the RTX 5070 as a great solution for 4K editing and was wondering if anyone had any experience with such an upgrade, especially 3060 8Gb to 5070 12Gb.I also read there were some issues with the 5070 and so far, most of the time, my philosophy has always been “as long as it works”, don’t update / upgrade.But if it can help me improve my workflow and gain some rendering time, I’d be curious to kn

Why is the Object matte SO MUCH BETTER in Premiere than it is in AE? I feel like it should be the opposite. Its a welcome change from Roto brush, but hopefully it bogs down AE less soon. I am an AE lifer, with an AE tattoo, so I’m not complaining, just curious why its worse in AE.

I would like to report a problem in the Japanese version of After Effects v26.2.The new "Quick Apply" feature does not support partial match search for Japanese characters. It only returns results for an "exact match," which significantly hinders the workflow.In the "Effects & Presets" panel, partial match search works fine in Japanese. Please update Quick Apply to support the same Japanese search behavior as the existing panels.

As of AE version 26.0.0 renders that should be rendered to an interlaced format end up as incorrect.The duration of the export is correct, though the content is playing at 200% and the rest is filled with a solid black (No transparancy)This workflow has worked for me for 20+ years. Hello, I've tried everything to get the spill off the apple,the top and legs/shoes but it's not working.Does anyone have any ideas on how to remove spill from reflective surfaces? 

When enabling Mercury Transit in After Effects, the sent Video Preview does not contain any Alpha Channel information even if the entire composition is empty. The transmitted video sends the composition overlayed over the previewed composition's background color.This is occuring on Windows, AE 25.3.0. I am checking Mercury Transit using the NDI for After Effects plugin, and monitoring both the NDI Studio Monitor and an NDI Source.Not sure if this is more a bug or a feature-request (having this be toggle-able would be great).  

Hi,I'm working on some text for a video and when attempting to play back or render the video with the text layers, After Effects glitches out constantly, with random text layers flickering in and out of places they shouldn't be. I've tried restarting the program, but this only caused the issue to spread to other parts of the video. This is happening when playing back in After Effects, rendering in After Effects, and rendering in Adobe Media Encoder. It's a very frustrating problem, especially as I spent hours making sure the text was frame-accurate, only for After Effects to crap all over my work.Below is a video showcasing the problem, and also an image showing the project itself, to clarify that the text layers are not overlapping and that this is not a user fault.Google Drive VideoI hope someone can help.Thanks in advance.

I have a cup with a video of steam rising from it. I keyframe the cup so it scales up and then I parent the steam video to the cup so they both scale up.What happens if you have multiple properties keyframed on an image and you parent it to something else, does it copy all of the keyframed properties? So if the the cup was keyframed to scale, rotate, change position and opacity, does the steam do all of these things also? If so, is there a way to control what is copied when parenting or does it just copy all the properties?

This is a problem I never used to get, but on 2025 and26 if I leave AE open for more than 20 mins without cleaning my cache, apparently even the most basic of comps will decide it needs all 128gb of ram on my machine and I get this dialogue box that takes literally 150+ presses to dismiss. This is insane. At least make it so that the pop up gives me the option to clear cache or can be dismissed without machine my enter key for 2 mins.   AMD 5950, 4090, 128gb ram, windows 10, AE 25/26 all versions 

The new tools are promising, but not very intuitive. With the old root brush double clicking allowed the painting to b started immediately, but with the new tools that is not always the case. This causes a lot of confusing clicking and double clicking, opening and closing panels. Please make a clear UI for the object selection / root environment. When a footage layer is selected, choosing one of the tools should open a panel where the rotoscoping can be done.

When trying to "replace with After Effects composition" I get the error message above.  I have seen many others with the same issue and logged out and rebooted as suggested and it still doesn't work.  I am using version 17.0.1 of After Effects and 14.0 of Premiere Pro.  What do I need to do to get this functionality to work?  Seems it's going on for years...?

I'm creating a line animation using trim path feature. the image was created in illustrator. for example. in the animation the line is growing/extendiing from left to right. is it possible to reverse the direction to have the animation go from right to left?? w/o going into illustrator and redraw the line in different way?? no matter what i do with the starting/ending point setting it ALWAYS goes from left to right...any thoughts??my illustration is actually a lot more complicated than just one line. so to redraw the whole thing would not be efficient...

Since updating to AFX 26.2.1 I would get the message “File is damaged and can´t be opened”. I had to re-install the 2025 Version which still worked. But now I am getting the same message with this Version that still worked the other day. I already uninstalled and reinstalled it serveral time and deleted the preferences. still no luck. any ideas?Running a Mac Book Pro M3 with SequoiaThanks! Daniel
