アフターエフェクトの｢次元に分割｣について質問です。 環境設定なのか何なのか分かりませんがデフォルトで勝手に次元に分割がされてしまいます。毎回｢次元に分割｣を解除して操作を行わなければならないのでどのようなことをすれば改善できるかご存知の方よろしくお願い致します。

hello, my after effects does not initialize and generates a crash file on the desktop. I'm going to leave the complete CRASH below so someone can help me, as I'm totally lost. I have new installations of After Effects (22.0.0 Build 111) and Cinema 4D (R25.015 - student license). In After Effects,  I go to Layer > New Maxon Cinema 4D File and after I enter a file name, I get an error message:After Effects error: Code (A_Err_GENERIC): This version of AE requires and installation of Cinema 4D R24 (24.111 or later). This can be installed by the AE installer. ( 0 :: 1) Any ideas? I have the latest R25.015 installed so I'm not sure what is going on here. I don't know how to access the "AE Installer". What is that? I installed AE with the Creative Cloud app.  My laptop is relatively old Macbook Pro 2017, 16GB quad core i7 with macOS Monterey (12.0.1)  

Thank in advance- Despite my best efforts in trying multiple expressions, I can NOT get a sequence of numbers (from 47-426) to randomly count up over a 12 minute timeline. I can get it to either count up by 1- 2,3,4,5 etc. or I can get it to count all numbers randomly up and down. I just need it to start at 47 and count randomly up to 426... I know I am probably missing just one piece. Any help? Thanks

I am having trouble with prores videos that I shot with the new iphone 15. When I open up the video file in after effects, it loses all of the magenta color and looks extremely washed out. When I open it in Quicktime, the video looks perfectly fine. I never used to have colour shifts like this with prores files on the previous iphone versions. Would anyone know how to correct this issue?

Hi thereFor some reason I have no option to import any 3D files such as .obj or .glb. When I try to import those files it's not recognizing them at all. In the file menu there are no such filetypes either.I was attempting this both in 23.6 and the latest 24.0 versions and both have no import options for 3D. I'm on MacOS Sonoma. Any idea?

Why do I STILL have trouble with trying to export my video from After Effects to Media Encoder, even on this new version!? Most of the time I try and export, nothing appears in ME. If It actually does appear and I try to render it, it says "Connecting to project" forever, sometimes after a few hours it reaches "reading XMP" and gets stuck on that. I've tried everything, I've checked every forum post with everyone else having this issue, tried everything from deleting plugins to uninstalling every trace of adobe software from my system and even using the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to make sure it's gone. Even after re-installing (and losing all my preferences, watch folders etc in the process) I still can't get it to work! I've been paying monthly for this software for years and the lack of quality control is astounding.Seriously, the worst part is that some of my projects export fine, but most of them don't. I don't understand, I have 32 GB of RAM and my after effects keep showing low RAM, even though I'm not using 20 GB and the preview doesn't load, it keeps loading in a loop for a few seconds, apart from the crashes I don't know if I should use the processor or the gpu in the project settings

How are linked files (psd, ai, footage etc) accessed by AE as you work with them? Are they loaded into RAM at project load and accessed from there or are they constantly being read as you work? Thanks.

Hi , i am a macbook user , after i upgrade my macbook pro to the lastest sonoma 14.0.i can't do any 3d camera tracking anymore , AE can't solving any video clip. it shown " Analysis solve failed" in any video that i try to in AE before update, i can do 3d video tracking normally in AE with any video my macbook spec : Macbook Pro with M2 pro chip 16GB ram

I'm currently upgrading my PC, and while I'm aware that moving from 64 to 128GB RAM will improve its AE performance significantly, I'm wondering about SSDs and the overall media cache performance. My question is: how fast does the SSD dedicted to cache need to be? A gen 4 NVMe with speeds up to 7GB/s will provide me a very noticeable fludiness over a gen 3 NVMe with 3GB/s? Or the writing/reading speed in such cases is not so determinant that even a normal sata with 500MB/s would be enough and not bottleneck the caching/playback? From what I've been reading here and there, very high speeds would be sort of overkill, as After Effects usually don't need to write/read data in order of GB every second, but I wanted to confirm it to make sure I don't spend money unecessarily on a super fast SSD that wouldn't really provide me any real benefit for daily AE work.

Hello, I dont know if this is normal/okay to even think/imagine like this given the fact that all moves in  AE between two keyframes. I was wondering if I can slow the movement between two keyframes, I dont want them to go between two keyframes like they are supposed to be, I want them to be slow, taking double time to cross... you know like an old person taking unusual time to move in the stairs lol...like they are SLOWWWWW.. I want this transition between two keyframes really slow without increasing the duration of the animation. Can I do that? Thank you..  

Hi! I've got these watermarked audio preview mp3s, but when i am replacing them with the WAV files i now bought the filename stays the same in the project window. The media is really replaced, i can tell beacause the watermarks are gone, and when i say "reveal in explorer" it shows me the WAV file, but it still says "preview.mp3" in the project window. This MUST be a bug in 23.6....

I'm animating a HUD over video, and am applying a strobe effect to some text. However, it never strobes. At the default settings, the text stays on the screen. If I change the effect to "makes layer transparent" the layer stays transparent. this is over many seconds, even though the strobe duration is set to 0.5 seconds and the strobe period is set to 1.0 seconds.  This is such basic stuff, and I've used this effect many times. What am I missing? I've screenshot the effect settings. (*note the warning sign is because this is an 8-bit effect in a 16-bit project This problem still occurs if I change the project settings to 8-bit). Running AFX 23.6.0 on macOS 13.4.1 on apple silicon. 

Hello, After Effects Community! Is there a way to automatically create in-betweens in AE, if I have two or more static images as keyframes? I'm using AE CS5, Windows 7.    If positive, how could I achieve some tweening? This example above looks primitive, but creating in-betweens by hand is sometimes very tedious. Would be grateful for any tips or advice about ways to simplify the task.  Thank you for your kind attention, understanding and help!

Hi gang; I am developing a plugin that will apply an effect from a 3D OBJ model. I thought After Effects could import OBJ files as it does so on my production machine. I can simply drag and drop any OBJ model into the media panel. However, I've just noticed on my development machine, which doesn't have many third party plugins, it doesn't allow me to import OBJ files. This is a surprise to me that it is not natively supported. I suppose my productions machine allows OBJ import through one of the installed third party plugins. And yes, I know OBJ import is in the forthcoming beta but that's a different topic. Anyway, I went through all the work of using AEGP to get the file path of the footage item with the intention that I could import the OBJ file, drop it into my comp, point to the layer from my plugin, retrieve the file path, and then load the data I need. Naturally, this won't work. So now I don't know how to allow the user to access an OBJ file. Is there anothe

Hi,Im fairly new to After Effects but i somehwhat know my way around it and have used expressions before to create dropdown menus in mogrts etc. I'm creating a mogrt for an editor and i have a lower third animating in, it is controlled by 'position' keyframes. However, the length of the lower third will be adjusted depending on the amount of text in the box. So ideally, i would need the 2nd keyframe to be editable in length (it also needs to be capped at a specific max length so it doesnt affect the safe zone of the comp). I need this 2nd keyframe to hold for a duration of roughly 6 seconds until it animates out. I think this can be done using the slider control and perhaps a null layer? I would appreciate if someone could help and provide clear instructions as im fairly new to mogrts and expressions. My layers below:
