Animate

First of all... Thank you KGlad!!!!!! for your help. I appreciate it. I'm watching the videos, but to me that's "Chinese" because I'm not a development guy... and I have no idea about code, just the easy way that Animate cc offers me to do the basics. Finally yesterday I have the idea to upload it to my server (even when I can't see anything published in my browser) and the surprise was when I can see it perfectly on the internet. But the problem doesn't end here... The landing page works perfect, the menus on top, the buttons puppies... but the BIG problem now is when I go to the pages puppies... the menus on top work only for a few seconds and then they stop for no apparent reason, since on the landing page they don't... I can't understand anything. All the code is very simple and I can't see any errors... I search and search but I can't find the problem. It's desperate... Bring back the ability to install Adobe Animate 2017. New versions slow down, it's impossible to work. The interface is cumbersome and inconvenient. The colors are terrible and not customizable. I'm a high level pro I know what I'm talking about, you make the program worse and worse.

Whenever I use the fill bucket on the second layer it does not work. But on the first layer it does. This issue is extremely frustrating, can anyone help? (I'm also new to animation)

How to set image zoom to scroll in adobe animate? 

I'm making a maplestory animation, but I ran into a snag: the walk sprites seem to re-appear even though I paste each picture into a seaparate frame onto the same layer. How do I stop that? Has anyone else experienced this while using AA?

Hi, very very new to Animate.The app needed to update, and now all of the GUIs are gone and I have to re-enable them in the Window section, but they no longer fit properly on the screen - any way to set to defaults?Also the "new empty frame" is gone and I cannot find it. This means I cant draw at all nor watch any tutorials. Any help would be really appreciated! Thanks!

Hey! I have made a Flash movie with Action Script 2.0, and now I want to transfer all the content to AS 3. The problem is: when I play the movie, the frames keep going all around, as if I had not put the command "stop" in the "Actions" frame. Just for the record: I am a starter in Action Script 3.0. Thanks!

Hello! There's this issue that i just came across after installing a quick trial. The animation wont render correctly, it "glitches" and leaves traces when i do! Yet when i finally export the whole thing, its all good ;; Any ideas would be appreciated, thank you!

I have a problem with adobe animate, so when I try to transfer the program window to my screen graphic tablet, the program starts to display pixelated as you can see in the first photo, it displays normally on my main moinitor, I will add that I had no such problem with adobe photoshop. Can it be fixed somehow?

Is there a line of code that can disable scrolling? I have an html animation in an iframe and it would be nice if scrolling would be turned off in the beginning and I can enable it at the end of the animation.

Hello!I am working in Adobe Animate to help create interactive, educational exe files that showcase animation, audio and video as well as allow for the user to control the flow of content via skip forward, skip backward, pause, play and volume buttons. I have already found tons of success through the Adobe Support community in setting up animation and audio with Animate along with getting the controls set up to be coded with AS3 and for that I am eternally grateful.I understand that what I am attempting to achieve will be difficult in terms of video integration on an AS3 file, so I may be forced to animate in program rather than importing video to Animate from after effects. However I've run into a situation where I cannot seem to understand the workflow for using Actionscript 3 with Animate and I was wondering if there are any resources out there for using AS3 alongside Adobe Animate 2022? Relying on old videos of people using AS3 with flash don't seem to produce the intended results

Hello. I was working on an Adobe Animate file 2 days ago since the recent update of Animate 2023. When I opened up the file the next day I opened up Animate, it said: "An Error Occuring Opening File."I tried using the rar method to fix it, but it didn't work. I tried making a new version of the file, and I saved it, to go back to it later. When I tried opening the file again, it gave me the same result of an error occured opening file. I don't know how or why it's giving me this issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hello everyone, is there a workaround to fill  drawings that go beyond the canvas border, but are not closed - other than drawing a straight line or rectangle around every item? Basically the canvas edge should close the drawing. Or is it possible to prevent lines from going outside of the canvas edge alltogether. See below example.  Thanks in advance.

I'm running the latest version of Animate on a Mac (Monterey 12.6)Every time I click on or try to edit a text box, the program hangs / locks up for up to a minute or two. It's maddening.Any suggestions on how to resolve?

I don't get it. This usually works. When I click on the 'next' button (right below in the canvas) at frame 1, it goes to frame 10. Just like I intended. Hello I'm hoping to find a solution to this problem that I am facing. I am using Adobe Animate to create a frame-by-frame animation of a hand-drawn puppet that I have imported into the animation. I am animating it in a very old-school way, making slight changes to each of the limbs in each key frame. However, I'm finding that when I insert key frame and make alterations to the puppet's limbs, the position of those same limbs gets messed up in all other key frames. It is almost as if they are all connected to one another.  Is there any way to 'sever' this connection? Many thanks

Is there a way to call out other movie clips from outside of the movie clip that you are currently in?

It's possible to select objects by color. It is for the option to select a scene of strokes with different colors. I want to select all those with the same color with edit multiple frames.
