Animate

 Hey all, I hope someone else has run into this problem and knows the workaround. So I've been using Adobe Animate for around three weeks and have been running into this problem constantly. Basically, what seems to be happening is that the Bitmap files that I use will corrupt whenever the software crashes and I'll get that red square above instead of the original file. Everything else in the animation (drawings/text) will be completely fine. Honestly, I've tried doing this five times now over three weeks and every single time it's crashed then corrupted random bitmaps I'm using. Then for some reason it corrupts all my back-up files as well (so version 3.08, 3.07 ... basically every version I saved as a back-up that uses those bitmap animations). The images that get corrupted seem to be random every single time it crashes, with only one or two similarities between them. I wondered if at first it was due to me using shape tweens on the bitmaps, so I swapped them out f

Animate keeps crashing on the latest Mac OS. Do we know if they are planning to update Animate to a 2025 version or is it being discontinued?

So I finished an animation and in the test screen it all looks good, frame rate and dimensions match in encoder, my animate is all up to date. But it's still bugging out like crazy. I have audio in it, but the audio exports fine. I've tried removing the audio, but the visual is still glitching. It completely skips frames or stays on one frame for way too long and I've tried to find anything online, but there's nothing. I've been at this for two days now. The first attachment is how it should be (recorded from my phone) and the second one is how it exports. I didn't include the sound since it's copyright and hasn't been affected by the export Any help is appreciated 🙂

The shortcuts work for other applications (Tried F5,F6,F7 with Clip studio paint) yet in Adobe Animate it does not register anything, Is there anything I can do to fix this? When I click the Fn keys using my keyboard, they work correctly  

I need Animate CC 2017 for a old project. So does anyone have an installer i can use?

Hello everyone, I am plublishing html5 banner creative for The Trade Desk.And it' been difficutlt, and the vendor I am dealing with has no specs, no setup/publishing information, ablsotlutly nothing to help me. This vendor has jumped me though hoops trying to get this work approved to no avail. They can tell me its wrong, but they can't tell me or even point me in the right direction to make it right.Can anyone help me with a publishing template or any information on how to do html5 ad creative for "The Trade Desk" ??

If I draw with a classic brush and then zoom in, the size of the brush changes. How can I do it without changing and it's the same

I can't upload my application to Google Play because I can't output in AAB file Format. Can we directly output in aab file format in Adobe Animate 2025 version? I have completely finished my application but I can't publish it on Google Play because it is an apk file. I couldn't find any up-to-date data on youtube or the internet about the solution to this issue.

Hello,  Any help would be amazing. Adobe support ignored me for a week and a half then told me they didn't know what was wrong.  When I export the video from animate, the transitions jumble. What I mean by this is that timings become delayed/off, things flash back into frame after disappearing, and sometimes after flashing back in they stay. When played inside animate/the file, all the transitions are fine & Adobe support said it was the same for them. They suggested pasting the layers into a new file, which I have, and it does not solve the issue.  I have pasted a picture of the settings below. Please keep in mind I am VERY new to this program.  

so i want to erase stuff on my symbol without breaking it apart to make tweening work but i just cant find a way to do that so i tried editing the symbol but that just erases everything on every keyframe instead of the one im in can someone please help me i just cant do it anymore

i'm working on a custom extension to speed up my workflow. Click a single button, do a bunch of stuff. One of the things i want to automate as part of that batch is to fit the Scene view in the window.  There are multiple different ways to do this as a user:1. Click View > Magnify > Fit in Window in the menu2. Double-click the Hand icon3. Select "Fit in Window" from the zoom dropdown on the Scene paneli have the menu method mapped to a keyboard shortcut, so that's another way to go about it. i just need a way to somehow trigger that functionality from my CEP extension (whether by hitting one of the above methods, or triggering that keyboard shortcut, or running a JSFL Command that triggers a keyboard shortcut, or SOMETHING... i'll even hit an autohotkey script if i need to) but i'm completely stuck as to how to do it. Is it possible?- Ryan

I am making an HTML5 canvas game. I have a frog movie clip and an arrow movie clip (called arrows_0_10). Both have animations on their timelines. When the frog clip reaches a certain frame of its timeline, I want it to start the arrow clip's animation. I have used the code, 'this.parent.arrows_0_10.play()' but this does not work. I've also tried 'gotoAndPlay(0)' instead of 'play()'. When I try 'alert(this.parent.arrows_0_10.visible)' it returns 'true', so it must be finding the clip. When I put a test button on the same timeline as the arrow clip and use 'this.arrows_0_10.play()', the clip plays.There are no errors, so what am I doing wrong?

In Adobe Animate (2021), I am attempting to import a pixel art animation. When I try to select multiple images in the library and try to turn off smoothing in their properties, no matter how many times I turn it off, it doesn't change. However, when I only select one image in the library and deselect the box for turning off smoothing, it changes immediately. Can someone tell me how I can fix this problem or just turn off smoothing by default?

Hello, I have a problem with displaying a text symbol in ActionScript 3.I am making a project to test the operation of dialog boxes and for this I need to display symbols on which there will be pictures of a speaking character, a dialog background and text - but it is the only thing that is not displayed.I hid the symbol at the beginning of the code and make it visible when interacting with the object, I also checked through debugging whether the symbol is visible - it says yes, although there is nothing on the screen.The text symbol is made as dynamic text in the Arial font, the font has the desired language built in, the size is 20 pt and opaque. I tried to move the symbol to the hud but nothing changed.The code itself is written below, and the photo shows that the dialog has started, but the text is not highlighted.there is a lot of code here that is not related to the dialogue, because of which you need to ignore a lot, but just in case I left even such nonsense.the function that m

Hi there. I am trying to export my character from animate to unity but I am having a problem. The animation has 20 frames . On frame 1 and 20 the character is in default stance, but frame 10 I lowered the head and added a tween to smooth the bobbing motion. However as you see this is changing the size of the image and causing the issue.The below image is a demo scene in Unity showing that the character is moving up into the air at the part of the animation when his head is lowered.  Giving illusion of the character floating up and down.How can I achieve this animation without this happening? Is possible to lock the frame size ? I have tried all the options in animate such as scale content etc. I've also tried settings in Unity such as draw mode to tiled, but this makes the whole character stretch and doesnt look good for a robot.  

Hey guys. I get this error upon exporting my current animation and was wondering what it means for me and why its coming up. Is it something I actually need to fix considering clicking out of it continues the export? Does it impact the animation?  Thank you tons

Whenever I export a video from adobe animate,  the colours end up being washed out no matter which preset or file type I export as. I am using a mac, and it is not an issue with my laptop colour display, as I have sent the video to others and they haave explained the same issues. I've recently downloaded adobe animate for the first time and I have been trying to use the pen tool to draw, however for some reason turning on object drawing mode makes the pen tool create a Shape instead of a Drawing Object. (So it acts exactly the same as if object drawing mode was turned off)I checked all the other tools and confirmed that the object drawing mode functions properly for all of them.I have tried resetting my preferences, re-installing animate, and going to earlier versions but nothing has worked.I need to use the pen tool for a project I am working on and this glitch has made me unable to do anything.

Hi everyone,I created an animation using shape hints to control how the shape tween should behave. It worked fine at first, but then I wanted to move the animation to a different position. To do that, I usually convert the layers into a symbol.However, when I did that, the shape hints got messed up. They stopped working properly, and when I checked inside the symbol, I saw that the hints had moved out of place—some even ended up outside the stage.Since converting to a symbol didn’t work, I tried moving the animation by selecting everything and using Edit Multiple Frames. But I had the same issue. Even worse, when I try to redo the shape hints, they don’t behave like they should anymore… something feels off.It seems like shape hints only work properly the first time—after that, everything goes wrong.Does anyone know how to preserve shape hints when converting layers to a symbol or moving an animation around the stage? Any tips or workarounds would be really appreciated!Thanks in advance

I'm trying to export different elements of the scene as quicktime videos with alpha to comp in After Effects. Some shots require additional bleed room around the edges. The sollution should be going to modify-document and changing the stage size proportionally, while leaving scale content unchecked, and anchor set to the middle. After rendering, the first frame jumps to a random location, and the following animation is offset in a way that is different form the original shot. There is a camera in the scenes, so I'm not sure if that's the culprit.Any ideas how to resolve this or take another approach to add bleed room around the render would be much appreciated.  

Ive been working on an animation with my friends for 2 days straight and animate crashed on me while trying to close. 30 minutes later, i try opening the file to be hit with an error message while trying to open it. is their anything i can do to uncourupted or is their by chance a folder with the automatic recoverys?
