Animate

I used to have a Adobe Flash CS6 and animated. When Animate CC came out, I animated there. I supposed to "save as" the file. But I animated back in CS6 in the same file. Strangly, when I opened in Animate CC, the file somehow changes back to the old saved file version of animation before the final result. I couldn't open back my same old "saved" file. I urgently need an Adobe Flash CS6 or CS5 software to retrive my old file and "save as" to the new file for Animate CC. Here are my old SWF file and Animate File (but the file is big to attach, I'll show you). Even snapshots I caught evidences. PLEASE HELP ME!!!   

Hey, first time here! I just got a new XP-Pen Artist 22R Pro tablet for Christmas and have been ecstatic about using it. However, when I went to try some of the features in Adobe Animate, it simply didn't work properly. I can do most things with no issue, but whenever I try to zoom in with the left slider wheel, it won't let me, it will only zoom out. Doing other options like changing the brush size it works without trouble, making it grow bigger and smaller, but with the zooming feature, it only lets me zoom out. Then on the other wheel, it doesn't allow me to rotate the canvas.I tried doing these things in Photoshop and it worked just fine, so why is it just Animate that's giving me trouble? Animate is up to date and I can't find anything online, so any help would be greatly appreciated!

I'd like to know the works made with Adobe animate.It's actually used a lot in various formats such as theater animation, TV series animation, and web animation, but Adobe doesn't tell you that at all. YouTube channels such as moho, toonboom, and blender all introduce and publicize works produced by their programs, but animate has no intention of doing so. I've been using Animate for a long time since it was Flash, but I can't mention works made of animates while explaining Adobe Animate to others as an animation production program, because I'm not sure. Can someone tell me how animate is being used in the field, and which works (many people would know) have been used recently?  

How do you convert image sequences to SWF or FLA without losing any quality?

Hi, I am recently new to Animate and am working my way through the tutorials.  The first in the sequence to include JavaScript I cannot get to work.  Its listed under the APP via "Rocket Launch - Interactive".  If anyone has built this up to completion I would appreciate being sent a copy so that I can look at the code and compare with what I have done on mine.  I bet it is simple but I am stuck. I'll attach my attempt which does not run and includes some runtime errors which don't mean anything to me.  Thanks.

How do you convert videos to SWF or FLA without losing any quality?

I've just started to use animate and I can't find any option to replace my illustrator vector layers while maintaining my animations and keyframes. Is that even possible? Something like the replace function in after effects.

Can anyone help me? I have tried everything, I'm new to Animate. I'm taking it in school. I am getting unexpected errors in Javascript using the Actions Wizard in a HTML5 canvas, 800px x 600px and I'm toltally clueless with java, I will be taking it but haven't yet. My project involves moving text, photos, buttons, labels. Are there any known issues? and Yes I checked my naming conventions. But I am still learning it. Regards, Cheryl

When I go to test the scene my background is white and keeps flashing on and off how do I fix this 

   Hai,I have try do on adobe animate CC the drag and drop activities for my project. When I test scene, all look good which when I drag the object to the correct box, the response box will appear "correct" while when I drag the object to the wrong box, the response box will appear "wrong". It happen like what I insert in action script. But the output will show the error (picture). How can I solve this output error? Does the output error effect the animate project? Since when I test scene or movie, its works well.

I have a problem:On the timeline, I can select empty frames by clicking on them. So far so good.But if there is something on the timeline, I can't select a single frame, but the whole of the timeline gets selected.  I used to make keyframes on the timeline by selecting a frame> then shortcut F6> voila a keyframe. Now I get keyframes all along the timeline. Why is that?

There seems to be no way to gradually increase (or decrease) the size of a bone rigged character as it is walking along through a scene. For example, I want my character to walk along a path that leads from the background to the foreground of a scene. The usual methods (of gradually scaling an object) are not working.

Hi all, I just tried to install the plug in mentioned in the title after switching to Windows from Mac. I do not remember the last time I used Animate but this plugin was a godsend. Now I'm in urgent need of it for a project and I cannot install it no matter what I do. I saw a previous thread about this but none of the solutions provided have worked. I have tried multiple programs including WinRAR and Anastasiy's Extension Manager. The former doesn't recognize the zxp fiel type and the latter says the extension is already installed (its not.) I cannot access the zip file for th elife of me. Any help would be appreciated I'm losing my mind here lol.

Hi, I bought Dream Clean-Up plugin for Animate today. I'd like to point out that Animate and Creative Cloud App work on the lastest version.So, I've spent the last 3 hours and more trying to install this plugin. In Adobe CCA plugin section Dream Clean-Up appears as "installed", however I don't find it in Animate. I also tried a manually installation with zxp installer, but nothing.The plugin author's guide says: "If you are using Animate CS6 or higher: Open the .zxp file with WinZip, WinRar or any other archive opening programs...". I tried with both programs to open it, but this format seems unopenable. So any solution?

Say I wanted to share these for example, but I don't want the file info in the bitmap properties to leak my entire presence in life. How do I remove this little line of text?

Hi guys         I have an issue with Adobe Flash CS6. I got an installer from a friend and i clicked free trial and now i want to cancel it but it doesnt appear on my plan list on my adobe account, would just unistalling it help? Do you know any other solution to my problem? I got 2 days left! I would appreaciate an answer if you know how to solve it, at least have an solid idea how to solve it     Thanks.

I was able to find this code to put a video component behind objects on the scene: var dom_container = document.getElementById("dom_overlay_container");dom_container.style.zIndex=-1; I have two additional videos that will be displayed in a pop-up that I need over the objects. Is this possible to do?  See screenshots for image reference.

Is there a way to change the line design so it looks like this? its not smooth it has the funny design to it. idk how to say it. and i wanted to ask if there is a way to import like custom strokes to flash 8. To the line tool

Get a load of this: Anyone else having this issue? How do you get it to stop?Since I can't link to the video placed on my own server (...which would be a Valid Video URL), I had to put it on YouTube for the whole world to see. 

Or was it just a one time purchase?

I made the mistake of working on a much larger stage than I needed so when I publish the animation, there's a ton of blank space around my animation. I attempted to resize the stage and move my content, but this ruins my motion tweens and messes up the whole animation. Is there a way I can resize the stage centered on my animation or is there a way to move my animation and not ruin my objects/motions in the process? Thank you!

I've been working on an animation on a school computer when I tried opening another adobe animate file on top of the file I was currently working on. The file I opened closed out of my work and I've lost almost all of it. The only file I saved to my desktop was the work I did yesterday. It seems like I lost all the work I've done today. The thing that confused me is I have auto save on and it autosaved multiple times well I was working. I'm on a school computer so I have limited accsess to files. I really don't want to have to re-do 2 hours of animation. I'm new to adobe animate I've been looking to see if theres a way to access auto saved items somehow. Please help!
