Hi there, For some reason my multitrack edits are off by a half seconds when i save a session and go back to it a few days later. I usually export this session and all the edits are made correctly in this export. But in the session It looks like the edits are trying to join the wave files together and all my cuts are just off. The only thing i can think of is this has started happenning since I updated Adobe Audition to v22. Is this a shortcut or save setting I'm doing wrong? I'm confused and also perplexed as to why this is happening and only with session files I leave and return to after a few days. I have reset Audition to it it's factory settings twice but this does not seem to fix the problem. Any help or advice much apprecated. Thank you! 🙂

How do you make it where you can select multiple things in the drop-down instead of having only 1 every single time?
Buen día, se corta la grabación en Adobe Audition CC2015, como solucionarlo?
Here I am providing the screenshot of the commands. These keyboard shortcut commands worked well in Windows 8.1. But recently I upgraded to windows 10 and installed the same Adobe Audition 2015 cc which I was using before upgrade. Everything workes as usual but these commands shortcut: Ctrl + Alt + up arrow Ctrl + Alt + down arrow These two keyboard shortcuts are not working. First I thought Audition 2015 cc is not compatable with windows 10. So, I installed Adobe Audition 2019 CC but. It didn't work either. I use keyboard shortcuts to work effeciently but this thing is really becomming desappointing. Please help.
Vidiot here, so be kind.... all relating to multitrack, rather than waveform, editor. 1. Is there any way to have double click on a clip select that clip, rather than open it in waveform editor (or at least disable the default open in waveform editor)? 2. Can Cmd+K (split clip at time selection) be made to work as the clip is playing back? (seems like I have to stop playback to have it work) I don't use Audition much (mostly as a conduit from PP to RX9) but I'm trying to demonstrate how much better the AU region select is for quickly levelling up multitrack sources.Ideally I want to do a region select and then adjust the gain within that region, without having to split the clip. But if I could just select region, Cmd+K to split then drag the clip gain down with the GUI (or via Shift-G) without stopping playback (i.e. I am adjusting the bits I just listened to AND scooting ahead of playback and adjusting based on waveforms, rat
Hello, I've just downloaded Adobe Audition CC. I've been used to working with Audition 1.5 (very old, I know!) With my previous Audition, I saved quite a few sessions, but I can't work out how to open the sessions in Audition CC. When I click on Multitrack, it just creates a new session.
Can Adobe Audition Separate the Sound Effects from Music(, like with these Audio Clips that are attached to this Post)? If it can then how do I go about doing it? However, if it can't, then what programs can do the job of Separating the Sound Effects from Music?
Hi I have Adobe Audition CS6 on Windows 10. Two days ago my workspace changed - I guess there was some automatic update. After that I noticed that Fade In and Fade Out don't work anymore. I can't use them by shortcuts or by selecting from the menu Clip/Fade... neither. It's all gray out. I work in Wavefrom. How to fix it? I will be thankful for your help.
Hi all.I'm just trying to record a favorite to do one thing: normalize to a certain level. But it's useless because it insists on using absolute start and end times by default. If I edit the favorite and select "relative" for the start and end of the actions, the values are percentages and aren't editable. The favorite doesn't seem to do anything.WTF? I'm assuming that the un-editability of the start and end percentages is a defect, but before I file a bug report I wanted to check. The documentation says nothing about this, which is another defect. This is in Audition 11.1 on Mac OS. Thanks for any insight.
Greetings from the dinosaur age. My trusty old audition 3.0 has played fine with windows 10 for several years but just started acting up this week. First was a feedback loop I wasn't fully able to track down and close...and then the program began going immediately to a white field when opened and locking up the computer. Re-installing from disc hasn't helped. Any ideas? Thank you.
Hey yall, So I'm running on the most up to date version of Audition as well as the drivers on my Mackie Big Knob Studio. Audition recognizes my interface as a monitoring system as it plays through my headphones and speakers just fine, but It doesn't recognize the mic connected to it. (SM7B > Fethead> Ch1(L) on Big Knob). Everything is on, the tracks are armed, but nothing. When I go into the routing there is no mic there. Anyone else got this issue?
I'm almost embarrassed to ask this question, but I can't seem to find a clear answer anywhere. I need some simple steps to route audio from an Audition analog mono track out to an external effects box and receive it back into a separate track so that I can inject it into my mix. I am set up in multitrack view with mic inputs (via a Focusrite Saffire D/A interface) going into mono channels 1, 2, 3 and 5. I have an Audition track corresponding to each. I would like to send the signal on channel 5 out to an external (physical, actual) rackmount RNC compressor and route the signal back into my mix. In terms of physical connections, at present I have my Saffire interface sending out to the compressor on its output jack 7 and receiving the treated signal back on input jack 7. In my (admittedly hazy) understanding, I need to route my Audition track 5 to Saffire channel 7, then add an Audition track to receive from channel 7. The idea would be that inbound channel 7 should contain my

Hi everyone, I am super new to the world of audio and I have run in to a problem. I have a scarlett 2i2 set up with a technica AT2020 as my mic in and my razer black shark V2 Pro wireless headset as the out put. I can record sound just fine using the mic but I cant hear it on playback through my headset. Ive been in to the audio hardware set up and check and definitely the correct headphones selected as the output. This set up works perfectly in audacity but Audition doesn't seem to like something. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Not really sure what's happening. I've uninstalled my entire Master Collection and reinstalled it but Audition CS6 still won't load. If i go to an established filed and hold shift while cliking on it, the file will load. but i can't just open the software. I'm running windows 10 pro with intel i7. The following is the log from when I tried to boot it.Ticks = 16 <6452> <AuLog.Startup> <5> Application: AuditionTicks = 16 <6452> <AuLog.Startup> <5> Version 5.0Ticks = 16 <6452> <AuLog.Startup> <5> Build: 708Ticks = 47 <6452> <AuLog.Startup> <5> AuUI initialization sequence started...Ticks = 47 <6452> <AuLog.Startup> <5> Initializing Crash RecoveryTicks = 63 <6452> <AuLog.Startup> <5> Initializing AuDSPTicks = 63 <6452> <AuLog.Startup> <5> Initializing AuBackEndTicks = 125 <6452> <AuLog.Startup> <5> Initializing AuApplicationTicks = 172 <6452>
Is it possible for audition to change the pitch of an audio file by stretching the waveform? An old fashioned way of lowering audio pitch would be to stretch the audio file so it would be pitched down. Can I do this in audition by a specific amount of semitones? I know that audition already has a pitch changer that keeps the tempo constant. I would like a more 'simple' way of changing the pitch as described above; that would change the tempo accordingly as well
Hi,Trying to streamline a couple of processes this year in AA. One of those is converting full fat audio into 44.1k 16bit audio for voiceover audition purposes. I have a shortcut to convert to 44.1k 16bit but is it possible to take that one step further and have it export as MP3 to a set directory with no input apart from the shortcut key? I'm thinking no, but hey can't hurt to ask.
I have a yearly subscription for adobe auditionand i dont need the audition i want change my subscription to adobe premiere without cancel the adobe audition subscription and pay forfeit

Hey yall, can I get some help? I'm trying to do some VO work over a track. I'm using the Mackie as both my Interface and Monitoring system. As a monitoring system it work's great, but for whatever reason my mic isn't getting lvls at all. I got a fethead, and tried it out on another system and It worked great. Can I get a hand thanks!
Hi Team,The company I work for subscribes to Adobe CC and want me to stop using ProTools and swap to Audition. I am ready to comply but must have a suitable controller. Does anyone here have experienxce in using a fully functioning controller with Adobe Audition? I have read countless comments and suggestions but have not seen one instance of someone speaking of a successful pairing.I have tested a Behringer X-Touch One and it's functions are limited to being a transport controller, Play Stop Shuttle etc. I have used the same device to run ProTools with full functionality. "Help me Adobe Support Community, you're my only hope?
Hello, The audio files on my computer are by default being opened by Audacity; I have changed it by telling Explorer to 'always open Mp3 files with' Windows Media Player, but after a while it goes back to automatically using Audacity. Is there a way to stop Audacity from behaving like this? I have looked into the settings but not found anything...Thanks.
Hi there,I have a MADI device connected to my laptop and I would like to record 5.1 sources to my laptop. I have successfully recorded days of stereo and mono tracks (30+ at once without issue), however I have not been able to find a way to set up an input for a 5.1 audio track.Does anyone know how? Is it possible?I realise that I can record the channels separately and I've done that before (Stereo FL FR, Mono Centre, Mono LFE, Stereo SL SR).Any ideas?Patrick
Hi all. I'm new to Adobe Audition. I made a multitrack file (.sesx) and I maintained a good habit of saving it (File --> Save). I accidentally chose to rendered all stretched clips and my Macbook soon ran out of memory. I had to force quit it but after I reopen the Audition, my work was gone. The multitrack file was in its very primary status and looked at I had never touched it. Is there a way that I can retreat the latest edited multitrack file? I'm using Adobe Audition 22. Thank you in advance! Xingze
