Just read about vtml tags that can add emphasis and pauses to make TTS sound less like a robot.I've tried it out in Audition CC and it seems to have no effect.Example: <vtml_pitch value ="150>Fact</vtml_pitch>: <vtml_pause time="500"/>Employees who are auditory learners, train faster and more effectively, by listening to iSpeech text to speech, inside of e-learning courses.Am I missing something to make this work? If the feature isn't available in Audition, what other tools would provide the service?

I BOUGHT Adobe Auditon 2.0 off ebay I have serial and I can not Activate it! 

I'm new to audition. I formally used vegas video. With Vegas I had an explorer window and I could click on and hit spacebar and it would play the audio is see if it was right for the commercial. Can I do that with Audition?

Hi all, I'm editing a podcast episode and I don't want to go through and individually cut out every excessive breath I find, so I'm trying to find a setting in my expander that will effectively remove said breaths. The issue I'm running into is when trying to experiment with settings to remove breaths, I'm also forfeiting some of the speech audio's quality, and I can't seem to navigate the solution to this. Should I try to use some other effect in tandem with the expander? How can I accurately guage the ideal settings to use for removing breaths? Thanks in advance!

I cannot seem to find the shortcuts file for my custom keyboard shortcuts. I would like to get this file transfered to another computer so that I can work with it. But the first step is finding it on my first machine, which I cannot do. Thank you for your time and help. 

Because when I open a saved session, it doesn't give me the option to record?

as I work on my project audio is dropping out during playback the issue is that it also keeps dropping in the saved file afterwardsI am running on 2020 macbook pro what shall be the issue ? 

HelloI've installed a few third-party plugins, and some of the presets are available and some aren't.In particular, MCDSP installs fine, but no presets show up in the list, while Waves plugins presets do show up in the drop down list. I've worked out that all presets are logged in the EffectPresets.xml file (located in preferences), and even tho I can see the individual McDSP presets.xml files, but they're not saved in the 'EffectPreset.xml' file and therefore do not show up. This is very frustrating, and have been trying different things for 2 days. Is there anything I can do, or is this just a manufacture issue? any help would be greatly appreciated. 

Hi, not sure how to describe my issue because I am new to Audition but I am making an intro clip for a podcast and have clips in the host section and music bed section. I have it all perfected and am ready to export it but I noticed when I play the clip back it runs past my last clip (which is in the music bed) and its silence. I'm not sure what this is and why it doesn't just stop after my last clip. Anyone know?

I'm a long time CC user, but relatively new to Audition.  That said, we have a project with around 150 voice over recordings, listing off different amounts followed by the same two sentences.  The client has asked us to remove the second to last sentence from each recording and I'm wondering if there's a way to automate this in Audition.  It would save a lot of time if we didn't need to go through all tracks, manually select each similar waveform, delete them and export them all. I noticed that there's a "Learn Sound Model" function in Effects > Noise Reduction / Restoration.  Could that sound model be used to learn the general shape of the sentence's waveform, and apply it to the other tracks?  If so, could we use that auto selection to batch delete it and export?  Or is there another method? Thanks,

I bought all apps of Adobe Creative Cloud, but I need Audition most right now. When I try to open it, the GUI is all messed up, and the prompt bars don't display anything (see attached). I tried to reinstall Audition, even deleting directly from Program Files, but it doesn't do anything. How can I fix this?

Getting the message: The Sample rates o the audio input and output devices do not match. Audio cannot be recorded until this is corrected.Use the appropriete operating system or audio device control panel to adjust the sample rates of the input and output devices to use the same settings.  If I change anything, it was by accident. Adobe remote support says it can't help me because it's a CS version. Can anyone help me here? Thanks in advance. Dave    

Hi I am doing a series of podcasts and am using the podcast template for each episode.   I realised I made oneof the episodes in the multitrack template.  I want to convert it to a podcast template without loosing my markers, cuts etc.  Is this possible? I'm in v14

Hi, I recorded a song in a studio in pro tools but I want to mix in audition. I have all the wav files but when I bring them on the timeline they all start on different layers but at the 00:00 position so all out of sync. Is there a way to use the time code maybe to lay them into the timeline in sync?

When I record podcasts, I always ask my guests to record their audio locally on their iPhone to ensure high quality and to eliminate connection issues. Although I always ask my guests to wear headphones, sometimes they don't. What then happens is that my voice gets recorded on their audio track when it comes through on their iPad or PC speakers. Is there any AI audio "magic" within Audition that can automatically detect and remove my voice from my guest's iPhone audio recording? I've tried AutoGate, but it didn't work on the episode I'm currently editing because my voice was very loud on my guest's speakers. Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi all 👋👋 I would like to connect my Rane 72 mixer. will recognize this. but I don't get a signal.   

Lately, we've a couple machines that are not playing audio inline with the playhead when started.After a couple of false starts it will play normally, but anytime a different clip is selected there will be a good two seconds lag between playhead and actual audio. We've already gone through the regular latency fixes. There is no hesitation or stuttering, just taking its time to get on track.

I am attempting to merge three multitrack sections of an interview done at different times, so that I can match audio and edit as one.   I grouped  all tracks in one of the 3 sessions, and attempted to paste that into another -- but received an alert saying "The sample rate of one or more clips does not match the sample rate of the session.  These clips will not be inserted."I checked, and one is 44100 Hz and the other is 32000 Hz.    I tried converting individual  clips in the Waveform editor -- but after selecting "convert sample type" and choosing 41000, nothing happened.  So I am stuck with three incompatible files.   I COULD finish editing each one separately, mixdown and try converting those in Waveform -- but would prefer to have the separate tracks laid out in one sequence so I can even out speakers, music and effects before mixing down. Any advice?   Thanks in advance for any help.    Rob

Hi everyone! I'm wondering if it's possible to split a multichannel wav (poly wav), when it's already edited and put on the Multitrack timeline as a multichannel. Should be possible, right? So to give an overview of the situation: the client recorded polywav on their Rodecaster, dragged it as a multichannel in the Multitrack timeline and started editing. Now I need to split them into the 5 seperate mic's they recorded, to do some proper post production. I can get the seperate mono files in the Files browser, I know that, but that's just the complete unedited file. I can also choose to 'make an unique copy' and then drag all the new mono files in, but I lose the handles. I can export as OMF and import in Nuendo (which is capable of splitting it) but the OMF will just turn the multichannel into a (two mono) stereo file. Not helping there either. Isn't there just a simple 'right click clip > split multichannel into mono files'-option? Thanks!

Hi there,Tried both dithering options (i.e. with "Enabled" and "Disabled") throughFile > Save As > Convert Sample Type > Bit Depth > Advanced > Dithering.But the saved output file with the 'Dithering' option looks like working in the opposite way (i.e. dithering is disabled when "Enabled" is selected and vice versa).Notice that I’m currently using Adobe Audition ‘Build 14.2.0.34’ (the previous versions look the same though) and tried 48KHz/16-bit generated tone with extremely small gain (-90 dB) just to see the effects of dithering more clearly.Additionally,Close/Reopen the file is required to check out the changes only when Dithering is “Disabled” (but actually dithered). No need to reopen it if “Enabled”.And the last setting is gone (indicating "Disabled" always) when I revisit the menu again (just to make sure which option I've selected, right before saving it finally) which is not pretty intuitive and confusing.Hope the GUI get revised, if applicable. Thanks,HP

Hello all.  This is Aaron.   I am on a Windows PC.  I have a focusrite 2i2 as my interface.  I open audition and have my audio hardware input/ output/ clock set to my focusrite.  Audio Mapping set to the focusrite.  I have the most updated version of audition and I have updated the driver for the focusrite through focusrite's website.  I opened audition.  I went to record some test levels.  It recorded, everything looked good.  I delted the test.  I went to record again for the actual project and.... nothing.  Flat line.  Won't show audio levels.  Won't record anything.  All the above still indicates the focusrite is selected and acknowledged.  Even the lower right hand corner of my task bar shows the microphone icon and when hovering it indicates "Adobe Audition 2021 is using your microphone".  I have tried shutting everything down.  I've tried restarting.  I've even reached out to Adob
