WHY DO THE FAKE VOICES IN ADOBE AUDITION SOUND AS ROBOTIC AS THEY DID 6 YEARS AGO? WHEN WILL THEY IMPROVE? DOES ANYONE AT ADOBE CARE? DOES ANYONE WORK ON THIS? CAN YOU JUST LET US UPLOAD OUR OWN GENERATED VOICES ATLEAST? ANY PLANS TO DO VOICE CLONING EVER?
Hi,I use adobe audition, and I was considering purchase of Izotope RX8 plugins to repair some of the audio tracks I'm editing.I downloaded the RX8 trial, and added the plugins properly, and they work, but they are terribly small.I tried scalling methods on Win10 with going into Adobe audition shortcut < Properities < Override High Resoulution DPI scalling with System etc. as well with RX8 program, but it was only changing the scale of UI of programs and cursor. The plugin size was still small.I was looking for some sort of scalling of plugins/ hovering windows settings in audition but haven't found anything. If anyone has an idea how to solve this problem I would appriciate.I attach the screenshot showing the issue.
I am a long time Sound Forge user trying to adjust to audition. In Sound Forge, if I add two markers, then double click the region between the two markers, Sound Forge selects that region (so I can perform an operation on the selected region). This is a primary way I do lots of quick edits. I can't figure out how to do this in audition (every time I click, it selects the entire clip). How do I select the region between two markers?
I can't see or find the Essential Sound Panel anywhere! Help! i am in multitrack mode.. I see the different tracks and the "bar" with the different colors at the end of the tracks but can see or show the essential sound panel.
Hi, I've been searching through the various Sound Effect libraries but can't for the life of me find a camera shutter sound effect ie a noise of a picture being taken. Please could you help?
Self-explanatory by title: Adobe Audition crashes putting video on timeline if Video Winow on another monitor.I can import the video into the project, but it kept crashing on my laptop. I ahad the project on my NAS and loaded it up on my Desktop to finish up edits. It hung and crashed the project. After trying a couiple more times, I built the project from scratch. No problems importing audio files, of course. There was no problem importing a video file. It appeared as if it wre trying to load, but hung instead, no matter how long I waited, Audition would no longer respond, and I had to terminate the process.I tested on local hard drive, instad of NAS. I tested with various videos ( .mp4's ) ... same indication. Finally, I thought I'd reset my workspace. Whenever the Video Window is on the same monitor as the main application window, no problem. When I move the Video window to another monitor, it plays. But if the Video Window is on the other monitor and I try to place it on
There a small window in Audition. In german it's name is "Auswahl/Ansicht", so I guess it's "selection/view" in english or similar, where you can see the timecode of you placed cursor and/or the lengh of your selection. I personally think that it would be useful if you could select the font size of the numbers.(Of course you can maximize the window itself, but that doesn't change the font size of the numbers.)
New to Audition - my audio playback is very choppy - My computer exceeds all of the minimum requirements so...????
Hi all,I want to normalise dozens of songs to -3db in Audition. I am able to normalise them individually, I add 20 songs at a time into CD layout and then go into 'favourites' and click on 'normalise to -3db'. This works a treat but takes forever doing every song one by one. There must be a way to normalise 20 songs at a time to -3bb surely?Any help would be truly appreciated. Thanks, Paul.
Have just been told that CD writing is not included in most recent Audition update. Unfortunately, the only indication is that the program crashes upon initiating the writing (all other aspects of the CD prep seem to be fine). Would be great to provide notice in the program...
I normally use a different DAW and so am not too familiar with Audition but a client rejected a file saying it was too low in level and showed a screen shot from Audition to illustrate it. When I playthis file in any other DAW (Reaper, ProTools, Logic) and run it through an RMS meter, I get the same reading within 0.2dB of each other that being -20dB RMS-I However, the screen shot the client sent us from Audition showed that it was reading -23dB Total RMS in Match Loudness.I've opened the file in my copy of Audition CC and if I load it into Match Loudness it shows as being -23dB. However, if I scan the file in Amplitude Statistics, it says the Total RMS Amplitude is -20dB.Why the difference and which is correct?I was wondering if the fact that it is exactly a 3dB difference was something to do with Pan Law as the file in question is Mono single channel and wondered if one was processing it as Dual Mono or Stereo and hence 3dB difference but I can't find anything about how Mat
If you open a file or multiple files in Audition 24.4.1.3 the last file closed stays locked in Windows 11 until you open another file in Audition or close Audition. This did not happen in Audition CS6. I just upgraded to Audition 24 from CS6.
When I was in the adobe audition 25.2.0.123 as well as the previous version, when I used the vst3 plug-in (here I'm citing the voice de noise in the izotope rx 11 advanced), the window did not render the effects interface correctly, showing only parts. It may be a compatibility issue, it may be a plug - in vendor issue, it may be an Audtion issue, but for the user experience, it is the presence of a bug. Let adobe audit and add - on vendors start with the end and create a strong user experience for users that is your core competencies.
A bug exists in Adobe Audit 25.2.0.123, in waveform mode, when I deleted the waveform in front of the audio, the marker in the back did not follow the move forward, which did not exist in the previous version.
Can I fix the timeline view to a set amount of time, like 5 seconds or something? As I'm recording it zooms in continuously.
I don't know if this is a WO question or an Adobe Audition24 question...When I send a file from AA into WO I use the export function for the sake of expediency. I use save as otherwise. But I run into an issue when saving files in a multitrack session. If I save the session as a new session/same audio, it asks if I want to save the files into the new folder. "Yes" confirms the files are saved using WO Write, then the session crashes, files aren't saved. I don't want to save as WO .wav. I want to save as mp3 or regular .wav. Can you assist?
I have use of (2) computers with my Audition CC account. I want to transfer one of then to a new laptop computer. How do I do that?
When I select all and delete in Waveform Editor, it freezes up and I have to undo and delete sections instead. Frsutrating. Has this been fixed yet?
Hello!First let me apologize, as I am not an audio person, so I'm not going to get terminology perfect here. I record a podcast every week, and I don't change my settings at all. I run from my mic into a mixer, and then from that mixer into my soundcard. I also record this podcast with two other people who join me remotely via a video conference call. Some weeks we have no problems. Other weeks we will be recording along fine, and suddenly (seemingly) Audition will start "capping" the recording for lack of a better term. What I mean is that it will start clamping the waveform so that the peaks cap out at a certain level as seen just below the pink line that I have added in this image. A "healthy" recording looks morel like this: When I hit record and we start talking, there are no flat edges like the top image, and the lines go far above the pink line like they do in the lower image, but at a certain point Audition almost tries to correct something and starts clampi
Hi, I'm looking for a script or guide to automate an iterative process in Audition where I insert variable tracks into a multitrack session with a bed file, then export the resulting unique file. I have a regular process where I create a bed file (containing music + VO), then insert a variable file (containing VO only) and export it. I have a photo below of what the process looks like for clarity. The problem is that I need to do this regularly for 100+ unique wav files. I'm wondering if there's a way to automate this process in Audition where you can iteratively pull the variable files from a folder/batch process and insert them at a specific timestamp into a multitrack session containing the bed file, then export the session to a wav file. It also needs to be in a multitrack so that I can duck the music in the bed file for the dialogue in the variable file. If anyone has an idea of how to do this or knows of something that accomplishes a similar goal, pleas
For some reason when I was exporting the audio from an adobe audition session to my usb stick, I got pkf files instead of mp3 and I cant get those files back because the computers where i had the session has deepfreeze on it. I am just wondering if there is any possibility that I can convert a pkf file to wav or mp3 or if i could open it . Ive tried with the adobe audition that i have on my own laptop and it says it wasnt supported.
Hey guys i sent this same email to soundcraft already but i figured i would ask on here and see if anyone may have any suggestions as well. thanks for any help, in advance. i know it's probably just a problem on the soundcraft /drivers/etc end but i was wondering if anyone else has had any similar issues as well. thanks again: im trying to get my notepad 5 to work on my windows 10 hp laptop. i get a driver error from windows every time; also when i try and have adobe audition find it, it shows up but is labeled as not working. i have downloaded and installed, tried, failed, uninstalled all drivers and launcher, reinstalled all of them, reconnected my notepad 5 and i still get driver error from windows device list as well as not even being recognized by the soundcraft audio control panel. included in this is rebooting and pressing 7/f7 etc to get install, all appropriate steps followed every time. here are specs on my laptop:intel core i7-9750h cpu @2.6GHz 2.59Hz16 gb RAM64 b
Hi guys, I'm admittedly new to Audition- but I'm using it to keep track of and mix/master the sound effects for a game me and my small indie team are making. There are about 100 sound effects with varying volumes that I need to balance in a single file (which I've done in a .sesx session file) because balancing them in all different files is a nightmare. Putting them under their categories (for example, gameplay, UI, a specific character, etc) as Tracks in Audition makes the balancing quite simple. However, I'm having a gigantic problem. When I select a single clip, let's say "arrow_shoot" sound effect, I right click, go to Export Mixdown > Selected Clips; then I define the export settings (we need to use lossy .mp3 unfortunately as it's a mobile game), and say export. Now, the name is the problem I'm having. Because the name HAS to be arrow_shoot, as that is the programming reference inside the video game. If it's a different name, it won't work. But since I'm curren
Hi,how do I get out of this panel after entering a meta entry using the keyboard?Often with Ctrl-Enter. For example, only Enter adds a new line in this single-line field...And my input is not accepted by pressing the Escape key or something else. Thanks!myccThanks a lot!
Hi,I discoverd this unsvoled thread: https://community.adobe.com/t5/audition-discussions/unable-to-edit-metadata-recording-date/m-p/10372419 Now, some years later in 2025, still impossible to save/insert the creation date? It looks fine, but disappears after saving: Thanks, mycc
