Audition

Hello, I am having trouble using the buss feature.   I  want to send vocal audio to the master track but also to a bus track so that I can control the buss volume and effect seperately. I have done this before on pro tools but audition is giving me problems.  Audition will send my vocal to the bus then the buss to the master by way of the output of my vocal track. I tried using the "sends" option on the vocal track to the bus then the buss should process Audio separately but the buss track isn't recieving it after I send. 

Hello there!I get a multitrack from PP where I'd like to mix the right and left channels of the thousands of audio snippets I get in a row. However, it doesn't look like that at all https://helpx.adobe.com/de/audition/using/multichannel-audio-workflow.htmlThere is no "Source Channel Routing" in AU 13.0 2020 or I can't find it. Any ideas how to mix a track?

what is "one or more files are actively processing jobs.please cancel these jobs or wait for them to finish"for some reason this keeps popping up everytime i do more then one project even after i close all these so called open files it wont allow me to exit the audition -_- i even had to uninstall audition from the all app page which slove the problem for like 3 days..should i just uninstall the whole adobe?

Hello Everyone. I have a 30 Minutes Analog Clip. I want to either Text It, or Email, It to a Client for final approval. Later after approval, I can Burn It Int a CD, with the Highest Quality. I noticed every time I export . Wave, or .MP3, the file, It Is like 300 Mega-Bites. How can I reduce the file without losing Sound Quality?Thank you very much.

I'm having an issue to where my VST's are all lumped into the 'Effects' dropdown in the plugin section. It's super annoying because I want to be able to select the right plug-in but i'm having to scroll down super far to get to what I need. Is there a way I can manually change where each plugin should go to ? Or has anyone had this issue before? thank you.

I have not used Audition much, I used to use Cool Edit.A useful facility in Cool Edit once you got down to fairly fine detail was to push the individual dots (representing the bit value) up or down with a mouse. This was particularly useful when re-shaping the peak of a clipped waveform, say. In Audition, I can't do this, or not in the same way. The only way I have found to do this is to select an individual dot and amplify it up or down, then select the next one etc. This is very laborious. I am sure there must be a better way.Any suggestions? 

I have not used Audition much. I used to use Cool Edit.A useful feature in Cool Edit was to generate silence. This was useful if the gaps between tracks, say, were too short. I have not found an easy way to do this in Audition. Any suggestions?

Hello Everyone.I Imported a Sequence from Premier To Audition. I can easily use the Razor Tool, or Clik on Control+K to Trim. I noticed It only Trims the Audio, not the Movie. I am not trying to do my Video Editing In Audition, but I just want to know If you can Slice or Cut the Video and Audio Together?Thanks.

Adobe audition has crashed 5 times now in the last two days. I have been compulsively saving my files but after the most recent crash, they've reverted back to their states before my most recent save regardless. It is driving me nuts. 

Hi PeopleI have a track which has, in my opinion, an overly emphasized drum beat which I would like to de-emphasize. It also uses a bit of distortion or fuzz with that beat. I am using Audition CS6, yes I know pre-cloud, but thats the way I like it. If any of you have some tips/advice on how I can achieve my goal, I would be most appreciative. P.S. I own this music, and can therefore do what I like with it.Tony Walton

Hi there, I wonder if anyone can help me work out if this function exists...? Each mixer track has a send, labelled S1. Is it possible to add more sends to the same channel, i.e. S2, S3, etc? Seems like a simple thing but I can't find anything in the options or online anywhere. I have to make a duplicate 'ghost' track to send the same signal out to other channels but this seems like a clunky workaround. Thanks in advance for your help!Ash

I listen to music at low volume levels when using my computer. I have tried Match Loudness using numerous loudness standards, tolerance and max true peak level settings to no avail.  I still end up with songs that have varying perceived loudness levels.  When listening, I hear pronounced volume levels between songs.  The last settings I used were:Match To:  EBU R128Tolerance:  0 LUMax True Peak Level:  -12 dBTPUsing these settings, my resulting perceived loudness levels vary between-23 dB and -17dB.  How can I obtain more consistent perceived/real world volume levels? Thanks!

We're running Adobe Aud 1.5 at our radio station.  When saving files for our automation we prefer .wav.  In saving files recently this has popped up, Windows PCM (.wav, .mp3), and it always defaults to .mp3.Why has this all of sudden started happening?  It used to show us, Windows PCM (.wav).Again, it's just started coming up with the .mp3. Thanks y'all

I'm just getting set up in Audition. I can record and the waveform shows very little except when I play it back it is very loud. I am opening up a new file, using the defaults, and am curious as to what I'm doing wrong. If I increase the system microphone volume enough to see the waveform then I get terrible distortion and clipping (yet the waveformn doesn't seem to show clipping). My setup is fairly basic, a Rode mic coupled to a soundblaster input card. I also run through Krisp but I have the same issue if I am using Krisp or not. I don't have any dedicated audio input setup (yet). If I can back away from the mic a bit I can get pretty decent sound but I still get virtually no waveform as below.  What am I missing here that is making this sound so ugly?   

"Capture Noise Print" & "Noise Reduction (process)" don't do anything at all. The audio does not change no matter what I do to the settings. I'm using Windows 10  which is up to date, and the Audtion 13.06.3.8. What am I missing?

Hello, I want to sync a podcast that was recorded online. I have two files, both recorded in Audition on two separate computers. I saw the video below where the silence is being automatically edited out, which sounds like a huge time saver! But, he is using a recording that was made int the same room, so there's no need to sync. Just recently Audition will crash, freeze or bug out.  Not sure how to fix this.  Can someone help? Using Audition 2020 on a PC laptop.

Hi all, Recently, I had an issue. When I export a wav file, it used to end up in a wav. But recently, it converts into . A, and I have no idea how to open it. Subsequently, I cannot use Audition anymore. Anyone has any idea of what it is, and how to change it back into wav file? Thanks in advance.

I've set my audio hardware to my audio interface and I can see the meter output signal so it's picking up the signal from the microphone but everytime I hit record nothing is there or rather it's like listening to a stream. The sounds of running water is all you can hear. I'm using a Zoom R24 recorder as an interface since it has that capability and I can hear myself using the microphone and see levels on the device itself like normal. Again I can see the signal when using Audition but there is no wavfile or signal on the track when I hit record. What am I doing wrong?

For my podcast edits workflow I like to stretch time to 50% to work faster.The markers are stuck to the session and waveform cannot stretch time as far as I know.Does anyone have any suggestions or tricks? I tried to simply double the marker time but that's not too accurate and takes a lot of time when you have many markers.

 I have cut a few commercials using AA and just edited a mix from a dj session I did.  In both times I noticed mysic and the background music (commercial) the levels changed on their own. Like an audio rollercoaster. What am I doing wrong? I am an ace with AA in older versions but the newest version at home (quarantine mode) is driving me bananas. Help. 

Help! My computer crashed earlier today, and since then I haven't been able to start up either Creative Cloud or Audition -- I get a "Windows could not find..." error. I've gone through the help desk (they couldn't help me) and reinstalled multipled times. It's maddening. I need Audition to do work tomorrow, so I'm kind of desperate. Any ideas?
