Hi, everyone - yesterday my audio set-up was recording just fine. Today, I went to record an audition and when I played it back, there is a weird static and crackling happening. I know it's not a hardware issue because I tried a different cable, different mic and by-passed the audio interface with a USB cable. Also, when I record in any other program, the audio is just fine. In fact, I recorded in Quicktime Player and it was fine but it had static when I played the same file into Audition. I even edited that file in Audition - the crackle/static was heard when playing it in Audition but not when I played it in QuickTime. I know Adobe issued an update yesterday. Is anyone experiencing this? I am on a Mac Pro, Sequoia 15.3.2.
Last week I was able to select all (control-a) and then simply hiot delete and the waveform would be gone. Now it stays on screen until I hit record. Is this a new thing I have to get used too or is there a fix??
Does Adobe plan to bring an ARM version of Adobe Audition to the new Windows Snapdragon X Elite computers? If so, when?
I'm on Windows 11 with the latest Adobe Creative Cloud and Audition version 25.2. For almost 10 years I have been following the same steps for a weekly project I have: I import the raw audio, I add compression, do whatever edits I need, and export the file. I have always been able to hear the compression effect as soon as I apply it in the effects rack. Now, the audio stays at the raw volume it was recorded at until I export the file. Even the levels don't change but the exported audio is definitely compressed and loud enough. This hasn't been a huge deal but on larger projects with many more steps, I can see it being a huge pain. How do I go back to what it used to do?
I have been trying to use Enhance for the last 4 hours and is not working... this morning it was working fine. It uploads the file then says enhancing audio, but then gets stuck and never completes the task. Anyone know whats going on?
How open file ".ses" from Adobe Audition 2014 ? ...older program files? 😞
Help! What happened to Music loops and beds for Audition? All I can find is this below:Sound Effects - 27 bundles, over 10,000 high-quality sound effects I need music loops to create songs, NOT a bunch of sound effects, anyone have a clue??Thanks Kelly K.
Hello Family,I am the host of a radio show and have been using adobe audition to edit my shows, but now when I export my shows they have 30 seconds of silence at the end of the clip. Would anyone know how to fix that? Thank you. P.S. I also make Gospel DJ drops that are usually around 15 to 20 seconds longand I have tried using export selection when exported my dj drops and the silence at the end is even longer. Example: A 10 second dj drop will have about 40 seconds of silence at the end. Any help is appreicated. God Bless youPastor Dre
I'm having an issue with Adobe Audition/Focusrite solo, that I'm hoping someone might a have solution for. I have a VO setup where I'm using a Focusrite solo interface, Audition as my DAW, and a Roswell K87 condenser mic. When I monitor or record to Audition, the input signal is automatically being clipped/limited at -3db regardless of how high I run the gain up on the solo. 0db +1db, etc. This happens with any mic I use. I also notice If I disconnect the solo, and the computer’s internal mic is on, the signal can run higher than 0db without being clipped, so I'm thinking it may be a setting/issue in Audition, but I can't figure it out. Has anyone else ever encountered this?
More and more mice (mouses?) have multiple keys. It would we tremendiously helpful to remap mouse keys to user functions as is possible with keyboard shortcuts.I would prefere that the scroll wheel could also be used to scroll in time, instead of zooming in and out.It would be great to map the additional mouse keys to functions as well. Thanks for your consideration.
I'm getting no audio playback. I have a Shure SM7DB plugged into a Focusrite Scarlett Solo for my input. I also have a Schiit Magni Unity as a DAC/AMP for my headphones/audio output. My audio hardware settings are ASIO with my Scarlett selected, seems to record just fine. I just can't hear it when I try to play it back. There is no option to configure my output in audio hardware settings when using ASIO. Is it not possible to have input and output on separate interfaces when using ASIO?
Saved wav file (info says data is all there) opens in Adobe Audition but there is no wave form and no sound, though markers are there, meta data is there. I press play and it runs but obviously no sound. I am at the very end of recording a 15 chapter book in Adobe Audition. This is the last chapter doing this, when I tried to open it. Every other chapter opens just fine. Anyone know how to recover/restore this file??!
Greetings...I am trying to figure out how to change the BPM to drum loops that I have bought from another company other than Adobe. I am using the current version. In the older version of Audition, it was very easy. You use to be able to go to the bottom of the right hand screen, where it would display BPM and simply just change it my desired number. Adobe thought it was too simple so they did away with that! Now it says go Properties on the left hand side and display the BPM. I changed the number on it and it still will not change the drum track. It will allow me to change the metrodome, but the drum file will not to change its BPM. The second, is to STRETCH the actual file. IT WILL not do that method either. Will someone please help me? I am willing to pay to a reputable person. Thanks.
I need to change the offset of the skip selection. The current default of one second is far too short. I would like to set it to 10 to 15 seconds, as to get the context of the cut.I used Magix Samplitude for many years and there I could set the offset to my desired time. The topic in Discussions was not helpful at all. Thanks for your consideration, as I am sure there a many more that look for that feature. Google brings up the question by many, but no answer could be found.
Checked other posts, no joy. I'm trying to record voice in mono via waveform, using Audient iD4, never previous probs but not used for a few months. When I start new file and hit record, my green levels bar at the bottom shows that sound is being received as I speak, but no waveform appears on main screen and nothing is recorded. All appears to be plugged in, input levels as usual, totally stuck and can't record. Help! PS I'm very non-techie, just read books (audio narration) for charity, never music, so please speak to me as a dummy! Thanks, Kate
When I open Audition CC 2018 on my Windows 7 64-bit computer, there's no record button or other playback controls in the Editor of the Default view. How would I get these to appear? Thank you in advance.
Hi! I've been working in Audition for a few months now with no trouble but have had one particularly annoying issue recently (just a few days now). When I highlight and delete the entire waveform (in waveform editor) it deletes (per my history), but the waveform remains on the screen. I can delete sections successfully but not the entire waveform. One was I know it's technically deleted and just remaining on screen is that when I hit record at the end of the waveform, the deleted waveform disappears at that point. I'm attaching a video to show this. Help! (Thanks!)
One feature that I find to be lacking in Audition is to record audio produced by one's computer. In the past, I used Audacity to do this, but I currently have issues with using Audacity. I think that Audition needs a feature like this where I can record audio from my desktop. For example, if I want to record a podcast that I'm playing on my computer it would be great for Audition to directly record it without having to use a mic.
Hi there, I am working on a sound track that will hopefully end up as being 8760hrs long. However, my track is currently at 1165hrs and is 3.9GB. The file is saved to my 5TB hard drive and I have set all of the media cache settings to use the drive as the defult working and storage space. The file is also saved in the lowest quality possible (as audibility does not matter), which is mp3. 8bit at 8000hz. The problem I keep facing when trying to extend my my file to 8760hrs can be seen in the image attached. The error report contains code i cannot decipher. I appreciate this is a really large file but if anyone has any ideas to help they are greatly appreciated. The point of the track is that it is continuous so splitting it into a collection of smaller ones is not a option. Would I be better off using a different program such as Reaper? Huge thanks!
Have made several Premiere Pro 2-hr movies, the last 2 for YouTube. First time using Audition. Original av clips are MTS, 6 channel 48 kHz 32 bit float. Media Encoded to MP4 stereo for keywording and for YouTube. Need to clarify the interviewer and interviewee from the background chatter and clatter. Tried Effects .> Noise Reduction / Restoration > Capture Noise Print ... Noise Reduction. Got a little improvement, but want much more, even possibly background mute. Audition offers a miriad of effects. How do i choose the right path? Should i start with MTS 5.1 or with MP4 2 channel? Thanks!
So when I do my videos I load in my footage to Premiere, then I immediately choose the "Edit Clip In Audition" option for the audio. Then I edit the Audio in Audition to my liking. Currently when I'm done editing the audio, I have to Export it to a folder, then drag that new audio file into my Premiere Timeline and replace the extracted audio clip with the edited audio clip. This often leads to minor mistakes in synchronizing, or just stupid errors on my part from human error. My problem is, Why can't I just export the audio directly back to Adobe Audition? If I send a clip from Premiere to After Effects and create a composition, the clip automatically appears in Premiere as the Composition. Why in the world wouldn't that be the case with audio and Audition? And more so, the option to "Export to Premiere Pro" has been greyed out for many months now. When I very first started using the Adobe CC I was able to do this dance, then suddenly th
I'm a longtime Reason user and I'm excited that it is now available as a VST that can be used in "any" DAW. Has anyone here tried the integration of Reason and Audition? I'd love to learn from what you've discovered and smooth out my workflow so I can get to the nitty gritty pretty quickly. Thanks in advance!
Maybe this is a thing, but I haven't found it yet, but I would love to have the ability to search music in Audition the same way I can in Premiere. I do quite a few radio spots and always need to export the audio track to bring into Premiere to search for audio tracks from Adobe Music. If this is already available, please let me know how to us it in Audition.
hi, my computers storage was full and I deleted the Adobe Audition. After that I get this notification every time I try to alt+tab. It's really frustrating, can anyone help?
