These two settings:Adaptive Noise ReductionAutomatic Click Removerare covered and red and they aren't working, I have a VERY high end PC, I detecated 16GB ram of 3200Mhz to Audition and it doesn't work.my mouse and keyboard clicks are being heard, and I have the same amount of backround noises.I have no clue what the problem is.My PC has a Ryzen Threadripper 4Ghz and 32GB ram 3200Mhz, is that not enough?

Hey guys, after looking around and not finding a solution to my problem, I was hoping someone might be able to help me. I have been doing audio mixing in Audition CS6 with mogg files. I've been mixing them in 5.1 surround sound sessions. When I find a balanced volume for each part of the song and go to export, it exports and doesn't sound like what I heard while working in the session. I've been exporting the mixdowns as FLAC files. When I do this, for some reason the bass and drums are louder than every other instrument, even though in the session they don't sound like this. Does anybody have any explanation as to why this could be? I've tried messing with the pan settings in multitrack preferences too. Could it be the file type? Any help would be appreciated.

This is getting tiresome.  Back in December 2017 when Audition Updated I made a post about how after a few audio files, suddenly one of my self created Effect Presets didn't have all of it's elements in there anymore. Effect Rack Presets - Suddenly EmptyThis was acknowledged as a bug, and seemed to be rectified somewhere along the line. Fast forward to April 2018, I update Audition again, and sure enough it is happening AGAIN. I submitted a bug report about this, but it is rather irritating that a Bug that was supposedly being fixed, or was fixed, is back with the next update.

Howdy!I hope that this is an easy answer.  I've spent a long time working in the stereo world for video and radio work.  And only recently have I breached the 5.1 wall for work I am doing on audio theatre recordings (think old school radio shows, but brought up to speed).So we are adding sound effects into our recordings and for the life of me I cannot seem to find an answer as to what is needed for the Master Output on a 5.1 multitrack session.We setup all of our tracks to go to the Master.  We set the Master to the default 5.1 output and we actually had it working fine.  We did a show last week and it was great.  But we get back onto our system and it just will not work.  The transport freezes and it says it is playing but there is nothing happening.  I change the Master Output to a stereo or mono output and I get audio and the transport starts moving again.But I accidentally discovered that if I set the Master Output to Stereo/Default Output, that

Hello!I would like to select 2 or more Zoom dialog files (in this instance, it's 3 files from 3 different mics) and drag them into the timeline, where they drop onto separate tracks (I then group tracks to retain the sync). See below...Zoom files on my computer at left and them on the timeline as desired on the right.I used to be able to do this -- I used to select the 3 files together and drag them into the timeline and they appeared on 3 separate tracks. I assume I accidentally messed up some setting, but I don't know how to fix it. Currently if I select the 3 files and drag them over, they drop onto 1 track sequentially. Does anyone know the setting to drag multiple files into timeline and have them drop on separate tracks?Thank you!!!!Aimee

I made a few hour long recording of an event my work puts on once a year. After this particular service, I accidentally pressed backspace and save only saving half of what I recorded. Is there anyway to get the rest of what was recorded through temp files or raw files or any other method? I am on a mac-Thank You

When I try to import as session from Premiere Pro to work on in Audition, Audition always creates a 32Khz multi track session and conforms my 48Khz files to 32Khz.  Anyone know how to fix this?

Hi,I have a premiere pro project that has multiple sample rates.  When I import into Audition, it creates a 32Khz project.  I would like to work in 48Khz so that my premiere files stay at the highest quality.  It seems that once the sample rate is set for the Audition session, it cannot be changed.  How can I do this?

I've been having this serious problem since the last update.Any audio selection I make while audio file is playing disables the auto-scroll, which is enabled after pressing stop and then play again. Both multitrack and waveform.Impossible to edit in real time like I always did!Anyone else with this problem?

Au clips in multiplayer no longer has volume controls on the bar by pan.  I go to put a button on the line to adjust volume, click, and NOW nothing. This worked for years, and now no. 

How can I change the color of the selected windows and some text in the workspace? Previously, according to 7.0.1.5, there was not this awful blue color that presses on the eyes. There was a soft shade of gold. Can I get it back?

i have a microsft surface pro that runs windows 10 and every time i record an audio file on audition and then save it, when reopened will have a pop up that says the audio playback and recording device has been changed do you want to open it to change it?   why is this happening.  how can i record a simple audio file. why do all adobe products require 100's and 100's of hours to even move or do one action on here.  why is this program and the others not easy to use?  why does it require manuals, videos, experts and professionals to use any of the products?  even after watching youtube videos on the adobe creative cloud programs i am still lost.  i even purchased a book on how to use premier and audition and i am confused.  i am sure i am not alone.  i am looking for easier to use programs online to do the same things these programs do but i have not located any good ones.

I need help... I want to install Auto-Tune 8.1 (thats a plugin). Every plugin works but Auto-Tune does not so. I already tried the 64bit and the 32bit version seperately, I reinstalled the plugin 5 times and reinstalled Adobe Audition 3 times, but I still get an erro and the program is forced to shut down. Thats a really big mess guys, because then I tried FL Studios, load the Plugin and it works!! Why FL Studio does accept the plug in and Audition not? Thus I watched on Youtube, different guys tried the same plugin and it worked but for me it wont work... I have installed 10 plugins already and everyone works, so it cannot be the way I installed the plugin in Audition... I really need help, because I do not want to go to FL Studios.

Hi there,I've searched and googled to try to find this answer which I assume is super easy but I can't find it! I am recording a podcast using the Audition podcast template. My recording stopped after about 11 minutes. How do I keep going? Where are the settings to make my podcasts about 60-70 minutes long?

Every time I drag sound file into a project, Au creates a new copy of it in "Conformed Files".A lot of useless disk space is spent on it. Duplicates and copies of the same files in different places of different projects.How to turn it off? Other programs do not make unnecessary copies of files. Reaper does this on the fly and does not create a bunch of unnecessary files in the project folder.

Hello everyone! So, I am editing several podcasts. I have raw audio files and the guest has many “ahh´s" in the conversation. The length of the audio file is almost 30minutes and I have been doing it manually. Is there any way to save some time and just capture the “aaahh“ and automatically remove the same in the entire audio file? Disclaimer: the background removal doesn´t work since it is taking the voice, the moment I apply it to the entire audio, it messes up their voice. Please help guys thank you so much!!!

Hi there,So I've been having a little bit of trouble sending audio back from Audition to Premiere and having the changes match.•Just as a test I sent a dialogue clip to audition, normalised to -0.1dB.•In the effects rack I used a Tube Compressor to boost the low points and lower some of the top end volume as seen in the screen shot.•I also have a Hard Limiter to cut off anything above -1dB•After I get the volume to a nice area from -3 to -1 dB  I save and go back to Premiere•At this point the clip in Premiere renders the changes and has been improved however it does not match the output being shown and heard in Audition; Audition it's as I said -3 to -1db but in Premiere the clip sits between -5dB and -3dB. •I have made no changes to the audio clip within Premiere and there is nothing in the way of audio track effects besides a Hard Limiter on the Master set to -1dBIs there a reason why the Audition output doesn't translate to Premiere?I'm running the following setup: 2013 Mac Pro

Hei!I am not completely familiar with audition, I tried to do this in Premiere but it didnt sound as good as I would hope. I have this audio where a guy is talking, but I want to cut some of the unnescessary words he says during the audio without changing the background noise ( there is a light buzz). It would have been smart to get rid of the background noise first however the first part of the video is already out and right now I am trying to keep it consistent. Any thoughts you guys?I tried to do it in Audition with Noise reduction and REstauration, and I just selected the guy's voice that i wanted to get rid of but it just leaves the audio with a weird sound after that...

Whenever I try to import my audio files into audition, it glitches/skips when I play it. But, whenever I play the file in my music player it plays smoothly with no problem. How do I fix this issue?

I can open, import any sound file and play it or edit it with no problems in Adobe Audition CS6.  I Have just tried to record a simple wave file in AA, but it won't.  I did this by playing the file in a media player and Stereo Mix (what you hear) set.  My sound drivers are fine and in Sound and Audio Device Properties, the Recoding Control has Stereo Mix enabled.  The Line In is enabled also.  I then tried the Line In by connecting a sound source to it and tried to record.  Again nothing.  Here are screen captures of Audio Channel mapping and Audio Hardware:Thanks in advance for help.

I have Audition 2018 on my iMac, but when I log into Audition on my MacBook, they are not there.  Is there a way of exporting them so that whichever computer I use will have them available?
