Just started with Audition CC 2018 and I noticed there's not a Visual Keyboard Editor for use w my Macbook Pro. Has it been discontinued or is my Macbook too old (2009)?Thanks

For school we have to make a short podcast from around three minutes. I wrote my story about kid who gets lost in a cave. I am a cameraman, i have a film in in the hal filmed. The wrong microphone settings make my audio very bad.How can I improve this little bit with adobe audition or another software? Can anyone help me please please

Hello Everyone.I have a Rode Mic, and I have attached It to my Computer, using the XLR Cable to USB. Inside the Audition, when I click on the Red Record Bottom, It Records.I am looking for a tutorial to show the Complete Recording From Mic Into Audition.Thank you very much.

Just installed the updates, and now Audition won't output any sound. Removed, reinstalled Audient drivers, removed and reinstalled Audition......Nada.  Everything is set to 48Khz 16 bit.Smart sound, Itunes, all other audio is working great. Any suggestions?

I have a big problem when i want to record, because in the moment i press the button "R" (prepare to record) in the track <i hear my voice!> and the button " I " (control Input..what it's next to "R" button) doesn't do anything... It's like the Button "R" activate the Control input button and it's very incomfortable and useless... What i can to do for fix it???  HELP...!    <...I have the last update of Audition CC...>

I'm creating 600 audio programs for a client. They want to embed infoin the metadata including the show number and title. Is there any way to pull in info - say from a spreadsheet - to populate the metadata? Maybe in the batch process?

The limiter on the right has a threshold of -12 dB.  If I bypass it with the button just above, the sound drops significantly.  If I put in 0 dB in the limiter, the sound drops significantly also.  I cannot understand why this is happening.  I would have thought -12 dB would limit the output and drop the sound, whereas, 0 dB in the limiter or bypassing -12 dB would bring the sound up.

Hi all.Before I file bug reports, I thought I'd ask if some basic functionality has perhaps been buried in obscure UI.In what I would think is a fairly common scenario, I've selected a problematic section of an audio file and pressed the M key to create a region (or range as Audition calls it). What I want to do is overwrite an accidentally-spoken syllable with room tone from a nearby portion of the file. The length of the file can't change at all.These are the problems I encountered:1.  Double-clicking within the region doesn't select the audio between the markers. This is unexpected and inconvenient. Isn't that one of the major purposes of setting up a range, to make it readily selectable?2.  Although there are hotkeys to move the playhead to the previous or next marker, holding the Shift key while doing so doesn't extend the selection (as a workaround for problem #1).3.  Related to #2, using Shift to extend the selection seems to be broken for all keyboard navigation.

Bonjour à tous, ce n'est pas trop mon genre de demander de l'aide sur un forum mais j'ai un petit problème.J'ai acheté une police d'écriture qui me tenait à coeur sur le site youworkforthem, le problème c'est qu'ils m'ont passé un lien pour le téléchargé et je l'ai reçu en format .eps, et je pensais que j'allais le recevoir en .ttf, mon idée était de l'installer en tant que police d'écriture, j'ai essayé de changer le format pour que le système IOS le reconnaisse en ttf mais ça m'affiche un message d'erreur, du coup je souhaiterais vous demander comment faire.Présentement, j'ai le font type en format .eps et .jpg ( avec toutes les lettres de l'alphabet et quelques signes en plus )Est ce que quelqu'un saurait comment faire ( ps : je suis débutant et je suis sur CS6 )

During a skype interview, the other party didn't use headphones and did use the mic built in on their computer - which means every time someone spoke on our end, we could hear it echoed on their end as well as the original. Is there a way to edit this out of the audio the way you can edit the room 'echo' out of audio? This is for an event next week, so we really want to clean it up if possible.

Ok.  Why is this old problem appearing with the new update to Audition.  When you open a "New Waveform" and start recording, the waveform/timeline stretches out to infinity, down to the individual waveform dots, slowing down production and recording?  This was an issue with CC 2016 in the beginning and was fixed.  Now it's back.  This occurs whether it's a "New" waveform, or I open an existing waveform and "start" recording.Yes, a bug report has been submitted.Rhett

Hello Friends and Countrymen, I'm not sure the best way to ask this question so I'm going to try and explain....I'm editing an audiobook, and I let my narrator record himself at my work station and he knows how to punch in record and punch out and sometimes will want to try a certain line several times. So the first thing I did was take all the little clips and "arrange" them in correct order, somtimes manually creating fades, sometimes using the auto cross fades, but anyways. I save the file and now several days later I'm back into it to do more advanced noise removal, compression, etc. But the strangest thing is happening. a great many of my clips are still arranged correctly, but the audio within the individual clips has been slid forward or backwards so the timing is off. Often, but taking the slip tool I'm able to just slide the audio and visually see where it should fit  before I even test listen to it, and it does not take long to fix or do some re arranging. Hi, I'm working on a game project that needs some of the audio to be saved as 24000Hz wave files.  I see 22050 and 32000Hz as options but not 24000Hz.  Is there a reason?  Seems like half of the 48000Hz standard would be easy to support.Thanks much,-guy

Just lately I've been getting an error message saying that Audition is having problems reading or writing to disk.  Despite the message, nothing drastic has happened - until today.  I've just recorded a 30 minute voiceover session and somehow managed to lose it all.  I saved it during recording a few times but when I stopped recording, I got dreaded error msg.  When I came to play the audio, it was just a short loop of a single phrase repeating constantly.I'm running Adobe Audition CC 2015.2.1 on a late 2013 i-Mac OS X Yosemite 10.10.5I've run the hardware diagnostics tool on the Mac and it didn't report any problems.  I've also run the disk utility on the external drive to which the file was meant to be saved; again, no reported problems.Not quite sure what to do next.  Obviously, I'd like to try and recover the sound file, if that's possible - to that end, I tried importing it as raw data, but no good - but more importantly I can't afford for this to hap

Installed the 2018 update yesterday on iMac running OS 10.12.6. 32 Gigs Ram. Today I'm repeatedly encountering an immediate freeze-up when recording.  Tried deleting and reinstalling app.  No change.  Adjusted hardware buffer down from 512 to 128.  Still having problem.  Never ran into this issue before update. Sound Remover Process is horrible now, What changes did they make to this effect?  Now after every process, it raises the volume automatically by +2dB.Is anyone noticing this?

testAudio.mp3 - Google Drive ^Here is a sample of audio that includes both of the problems mentioned: a weird ringing noise is very apparent at times, and then there are a few thuds from the table the recorder was on being knocked.I experimented some with Dehummer to remove the ringing noise but I could not find a setting that worked. At 60hz, it was still very apparent.I've already passed this audio through the noise reduction process a number of times. I'm newish to audition. I don't know what to try from here out? Any ideas as to how to remove the ringing and the thuds?Thank you!!!

There has got to be an easy shortkey or something for this, but I can't figure it out! If I start playing, then want to revert back to where it started playing what key will bring me back to that spot?

Anyone know of a way to burn a CD in Audition, without resetting the Track time to 0:00?We sometimes burn test discs for review and it is very cumbersome to say for example there needs to be a fix on Track 5 at 1:26 seconds. Well to find that I need to find the track in the full audio file, then select out to 1:26 seconds. I would be much easier to say, Track 5, 26:26 into the program. Is this possible?Ray

Hi folks,I know I should really update to a later version of Audition but 1.5 gives me more than enough functionality! Anyway, as to my problem/question...I can't get the pre-roll and post-roll parts to play when I am editing WAV or MP3 files (I haven't tried it on other file formats). Both pre- and post-roll durations are set to 1.0 seconds. I know that I am supposed to right-click the Play button and select the appropriate enablement option from there - however right-clicking on the Play button (or indeed any of the Transport buttons) doesn't produce the usual context menu.  Has anybody else experienced this issue? (I can't seem to find any similar reports on the 'net).--Many thanks!Dave Matthews

On my continuing quest to buld the perfect CEP Audition Punch & Roll extension, I've got a question.I've got a full, non-destructible extension working for Punch & Roll on Audition now, which I'm planning to release on the marketplace for free. -Adobe Audition Punch & Roll Extension - Non-Destructive - YouTube It's a significant upgrade over my previous destructive, waveform-only version, and infinitely more reliable.Right now, however, I have to enforce an 'only record on track 1' limitation for the extension.The reason for this is that I have no other way to guarantee that the SELECTED track is the same track that the recording is taking place on, so trimming clips doesn't work properly if you have a different track selected than the one that is armed to record.I currently work around this by 'shifting to previous track' multiple times before starting a punch (i.e. ensuring that track 1 is always the selected track.)This is pretty silly, and curtails some of the more adva

Hello,  I can successfully import .raw files into audition, but cannot save or convert files from Audition into the .raw format.Is there a way to do this?  Thanks very much,-guy
