I purchased my CS6 a few years ago I can not find my serial number under manage acount, invoices ets.  It was downloaded directly from Adobe on line so I do not have a product box.  Can anyone help me  tcrgiants@yahoo.com

hi1)i have loaded an audio ,mp3 song in autidion2)insert into multitrack3) copyed the audio in track 1 and paste to track 2now the audio played different! even i haven't change anythingthe audio volume is increasedthe original songthe mixed audio of 2 original songis it normal or it 's a bug?can i avoid the increase of volume?in short work with the same audio copied on several tracks,without that audition change the volumethanks

How do I save my files when this is in the way.  There are NO unsaved effects,no "apply" to apply.

How do I force the selection marker to stay where I place it so that playback starts from that point again after it reaches the end of the track? Using headphones, I was trying to find the point where the track fades to silence with the volume turned all the way up. I'm used to Cool Edit Pro, and I didn't notice that the selection marker was moved without me doing it. When I pressed play a second time, playback started at a very high volume at the beginning of the track. My ears are still hurting and ringing badly 25 minutes later. I need to turn the volume up to figure out where to trim the track. How do I prevent the selection marker from moving and playback from jumping to a loud section?

hii haven't the time to update to audition cc 2017 , so i'm still running the last version of 2015i have installed the trial version of acon equlize and fabfilter  pro q2 (i guess the best equalizator according about what i have read)i 'm under multi tracki added both on rack effectsbut when i try to control the effect i can't find anythinglook the first screenshot , ok it's just a test , i know i have 2 equalizators on the rack just to make a testin the second screenshot , i try to control the equalizator with keyframe but i get this menuis the only way to control output level , right?can somebody tell me what's the meaning of in the second screenshot for band 6 Q ?? i haven't in the fav pro q2 preset

When an effect preset I had saved last year failed to show up in the effect today, I looked to see whether Audition's effects presets xml file had been changed. But the effect I saved is listed in the effect presets xml file, but it still doesn't show up.Why would this be? And how do I get Audition to "see" it again?This is CS6 on a Mac running OS 10.8.5, and the effect in question is Waves Gold Q10.

I'm a photoshop artist and new to Audition. I know there is a workflow for making non-destructive edits, but when I followed the procedures outlined in a tutorial, I was not permitted to export my project. I'm not at my regular workstation here, and going from vague memory. But what I typically have are birds/wildlife calls with a lot of environmental noise from my (H5 zoom) recorder. So I'm trying to isolate the wavelengths from the subjects, and filter out the various noise types. The supplied filters work well, but sometimes they affect the subject's frequency, so having non permanent layers, that be re-adjusted  (just like Photoshop) seems like the best workflow.Perhaps someone can briefly describe a setup for adding filtration to clips in a layered, non-permanent workflow. I'm not sure why I could not export the completed clips, but that only seemed to occur when I used the non-destructive workflow. I've been editing several large projects in Audition over the summer and fall and have run into the same issue with Audition over and over again: it will randomly mute various clips in the multitrack editor. And I don't mean the files don't play any audio when I hit playback, I mean they are grayed out and actually "muted".I don't know how, I don't know why. I think that it might occur when I select something else to be muted. But I can't prove that, as it happens offscreen in a different part of my track, on random different tracks. Basically, any random file can suddenly become muted and the only way to know is to scrub through your entire project searching for grayed-out files. On any kind of large project (a feature film, like I was working on), this is insane.I'm so sick of this. Adobe, you royally screwed yourselves with your horrific update to Premiere, and Audition is just as bad. Hello!  This is probably a pretty unusual question, but I was wondering if there's a way to export cue marker time positions out of Audition as an XML instead of a CSV file?   I realize there are online tools that will convert from csv to xml, but I'm wondering if an XML export is possible straight out of Audition.Thank you!

I was hoping this update would include a usable time stretch plug-in for speech.  Maybe I am missing something.  Cubase's Time Stretch is the best out there (better than Pro Tools etc.).  Here is an example of the 1) original file, 2) cubase time stretch (MPEX 4, Solo Musical) and 3) Audition (Stretch and Pitch, Algorithm Audition, High) from 10 sec to 8 seconds.  3 clips total on one file.  I experimented with all the settings (constant vowels etc., to no avail and the izotope plug in is worse it seems). https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B5wOQUg-jbhWY2dMbnBIZ1J1N2c/view?usp=sharing

I have not been able to access files that are in zipped folders through Premiere or Audition. So far that has been okay as I have copied the files out of the zipped folder and then accessed them. Today though that didn't work. The file I am trying to use has an .sesx extension and for some reason when I bring it into Audition it is saying "Warning, 6 of the 6 files that were in the files panel when the session was saved could not be found. Press the 'missing link' button to locate the missing files. Press 'ok' to ignore this warning and open the session without the files".When I press 'missing link' it hasn't found the files that are missing. Do you know what I can do?Thank you.

Okay... ...Audition is a great app, so is Premiere.  Unfortunately, I've had a few machines go on the fritz for different reasons while working, and RAW writes to the disk have been lost when I thought they were actually still saved.  It's been a bug that's waxed several people who use audition as their recording DAW for it's ease of use.  I admit I like it for its ease in recording and it's even more useful bussing for certain types of live audio recording.  Premiere is a fairly easy to understand program, straightforward and I use it occasionally for recording live feed to file for archival.Unfortunately, both of these have a similar audio issue.  Their raw writes aren't permanently dumped to a cache file, the file is replaced upon reopening your project, deleting your backups for audio.I'm targeting audition for this particular solution.  I'll make some adjustments for premiere later.  I'm starting with CS6 as my lowest version.I'm working on an ex

I need to know whether I need to credit adobe in the ending credits (and if so, precisely what should be written or included). I also need to know when submitting to the copyright office whether I need to reference the existing copyright in previously copyright info (if and so, what claimant number to use.) Thank you.

Just started using Adobe Audition 1.5.  Yea, I know, late bloomer.A few little annoying glitches I'd like to find out how to get rid of.First, when I have a sound file opened and minimize program to go to a folderor email to download another file, that file opens in a completely new Adobe insteadof the one I already have opened.Second, how do you get adjustments, such as changing settings or anything else to carryover to additional Adobe programs you open afterward?  In Adobe's great grandfather,Cool Edit, once these setting were set they would carry over to any additional sessions openedindependently.Third, is there any way to keep the "points" in the multitrack session to stay there instead of dissapearingwhen you select another track?  Again, Cool Edit has the volume & pan point availablt to see whether thetrack is being used or not.Thanks,Ken Byers

I started using the SDK today with the target being to implement a UDPServer into Audition so i can send command for example setting the Fader on a Mixer Channel but apparently almost nothing is working so far.Im using Audition as a live Mixer and i want to for example disable one of the Sends on my second channel using a hotkey. I'm working on a sequence exported from Premiere. One of the three stereo tracks is recorded only on the left channel. In Premiere, the easy fix is the "fill right" or "fill left" effect. How is that handled in Audition?I plan to export the separate tracks back to Premiere.

Hello everyone,I have a rather unique question that I cannot find answers for because of wording issues. Basically I am working with the same clip in a multi-track file and I want to manipulate one copy of it without effecting the other copies in the same multi-track session. I know I can make a separate sub-clip and put effects on that but is there another way? What am I missing?
