Audition

As long as I've been using CE/CEP/AA, it seems like I Have to learn this over and over and over again. I've done searches today and can only find references for how to RECORD a new favoritge in Adobe Audition 2021. How can I simply add an oft-used effect (in this case, a 3rd-party VST mouth de-clicker) to the Favorites panel? I feel kinda stupid having to ask this. But honestly, I can't find the answer anywhere at the moment. Can someone at least point me in the right direction? Thanks!

I am using the latest version of Adobe audition cc and I would like to transfer all effects settings and favorites from one installation to another. I am licensed for two copies and they are both the same version of each computer. I've tried copying the appdata files from one installation to another as instructed elsewhere and it does not work. I use this for my job and really need those settings and favorites on both. How do I get this to work?

Ok, so I tried to contact Adobe, because my problem seems to be something odd.  This was after I've come here a few different times with the same problem.  I'll try again, to see if anybody has had this problem.  In the multi track mode, I can, of course, adjust the levels of each channel.  But, when I do "Mixdown Session to New File", when I increase the level of the whole mix, it doesn't save that way, it seems to save only what was in the Multi Track mode.  It shows that the volume is up where it needs to be, it just doesn't save it that way.  Any other changes seem to be saved - deleting excess at the beginning of the track, fade out at the end, just the volume doesn't save.   I've tried saving in Save As, AND Export.  Either way, if I increase the volume in the Mixdown mode, it doesn't save.  The only way to increase the volume of the whole mix is to go back to the Multi Track mode and increase each channel individually.

 Can Wix support the embedding of both audio and video players for streaming purposes? Are there limitations based on the hosting plan or bandwidth considerations?What are the recommended steps or best practices for optimizing my Wix website to handle audio and video streaming without performance issues?Are there specific plugins or third-party integrations compatible with Wix that could enhance the functionality of my broadcasting setup? 

On the latest Adobe Audition from CC, connected input and output to Focusrite Solo Mk 4 in device settings, ASIO etc, all fine, but in waveform after starting a new file, the green level bar shows input but there is no waveform displayed.  After "recording" the waveform is a straight line.  However in Multitrack by arming the track by clicking R etc it works fine, recording a waveform, that on double clicking opens in Waveform view.  But I can't record in waveform view at all.  Any ideas please?  It would be highly appreciated. Hey all,I've pulled out all of my hair so now I'm here. Thanks in advance. I've had this issue with Audition where my YetiX causes major drops in audio when recording. Playback just a single audio track through the mic and it sounds like lag.  I've also tried this mic in Audacity, for the record. I am able to get clean playback in audacity with this mic, however, recording sounds like static and dropped clips. In Audition, playback is so bad that when you try to record in a new track, playback becomes even more unbearable and trying to record vocals over a choppy beat is impossible. If I disconnect the mic, playback and recording is fine through laptop internal speakers and mic (puke) here's what I've tried:adjusting buffer ratesadjusting from 48k to 41kensuring all other apps are closed and not pulling mic accessupdating firmware on YetiUpdating OSupratint audition  no luck. Please save my soul. I just want to make music with my friends for the love

As the title says, I can't save my edits using the save button. Every time I go back, the audio stays as the way before my last save. What happened!

I know the General Preferences for Mouse Wheel Zoom have the the word “Ctrl” burned into the option text (zoom at mouse, zoom at playhead..), but wondered if there’s a hack out there or even a keyboard shortcut setting I’ve overlooked that allows me to use ALT instead of Ctrl to zoom with the mouse on Windows? Every other program I use, (which includes some from Adobe) use ALT as the modifier for zooming and I swear that every. single. time. I use Audition this is a muscle memory pain point, with heavy emphasis on ‘pain.’   I’m sure it doesn’t bother audio designers/engineers who use Audition as their primary app every single day because they’re used to it, but it drives me nuts. Suggestions? Thanks, Chep

Is Audition compatible with a Behringer X-Touch Compact?

So, if I make a metadata mark while recording a mix sessions (such as a podcast), is there a way to preserve that metadata tag when manipulating the tracks in the mix session?

Is there a plug-in I can get which would allow me to monitor my recordings in audition without having to use the mix session format?

Is there any way to do this? I'd like to be able to record into audition while also being able to play through my output files which I'm navigating through audition. Are there plug ins for this? 

I'm using a Mac Studio with an M2 chip and 128gb ram. The latency is multiple seconds long even with all effects turned off. All recordings are perfectly on beat, it's just the live feedback in the headphones that is delayed. Is there a solution?

I'm doing indie feature film post audio by Audition. It freezes exactly every second time when bouncing clips to a new track. The first bounce will succeed, but the second time Audition freezes every single time. It doesn't matter do I use effects or VST's or not, it will freeze after the second bounce and I need to force quit the application.I have a brand new pc and Windows 11. CPU and RAM aren't near to full usage or even half of usage. I tried hardware acceleration for drawing setting on/off and it doesn't matter.

Hello,I recorded the latest episode of my podcast as normal with audition but now I've come to go back and edit it both my guest and me sound like we're walking through treacle. We're speaking much slower than what we sound like normally. Can anyone offer any advice as to why this has happened and how to fix it? The episode was due to air on July 1 so I'm behind by a couple of days. Any help or guidance would be very much appreciated. Many thanks,

Convém manter um backup do arquivo original para preservar a fidelidade de áudio concluída. Deseja continuar?Feito isso, ao dar play no arquivo e tocar no media player, o áudio sai perfeito. Porém, quando importo ele no Premiere para finalizar a edição do podcast, o áudio sai todo cortado e muito menor do que o tamanho da Track original. Alguém sabe o que está acontecendo?

I have an Audition session that I've been working on for a very long time. I can open the session and the backups, but they all immediately freeze upon opening. My other song sessions are working fine. It's just this one. It almost acts like it's searching for files that can't be found, but it never gives me an error. Just freezes idefintely. Are there temporary files stored somewhere that can be deleted? Any help would be appreciated because this project has over 50 hours put into it. Thanks Newest version, Windows. 

I work on multiple screens and, more often than I would like to admit, the top bar of my Audition workspace window ends up stuck between the two screens. Since the top bar (with x, -, +) is the only place on the window that is clickable/draggable, I have to exit the program and reopen in order to reset the top bar on screen. If the bar on the bottom were clickable (Opened in..., recording settings and time counter) it would make retrieving the window possible without having to exit the program. That would be so lovely!

I may have raised this issue before.Every so often and without any trigger, Audition freezes up completely and is non-responsive in a bizarre way - any click on it anywhere shifts the window to another program - the browser, Excel or anything else I have opened.  If I close all other programs and have nothing but Audition open, when I click in it, it will open a random program that is closed at that time. The only way to fix it is to end Adobe in the Task Manager. I did it just now - and it reopened with some errors !!!  the top toolbar was greyed out, and as I clicking on it I AGAIN closed that top toolbar!!ok got my Toolbar back.This is definitely an Adobe issue.can anyone help? Steve?......:-)   

Hi my friends i have rx elements and adobe audition, i cant seem to clear my audios of these specific sounds in the word doc the low hz sound clicks and some mouthclicks , if you have a solution for me thanks jihane

I've been frustrated with the new update where "M" makes a clip marker (instead of a session marker) if you have any audio selected. Is there a way to undo this in settings so it automatically makes a session marker? Thanks!!

Is there a way for Audition to read the track names from a Zoom F6 Polywav file.

Hello, Anyone know what happened to the "L" and "R" buttons to separate channels? The updates are quite annoying when stuff is moved around. TY. 

Might be a coincidence. But I felt that when I record audio in Multi Track vs the regular Waveform editor seems to produce different qualities. Where multitrack sounds better. I recorded on both and added Multi Band Compressor and Noise reduction. And it feels like the noise reduction works better in the multi band.
