I have a new laptop so not sure if this is a windows 11 issue or audtion, but only in audition I cannot change it.When opening a file in audition, the import folder fills the whole screen. In the past, I have been able to grab the corners or sides and change the size of the folder in order to still see the things needed as I open a file.In this case, nothing happens when trying to adjust the size. Anyone else have this issue or know how to fix it?
Hi, I edited one song to fit my video, in Adobe Adition. Now I need to make it a bit longer, but adobe audition exported and link the individual layers to shortened versions of the song, so I can't makde them longer anymore. Is there a way to link the clips to the original song? When I do it in the classic way, the trim part start from the begining of the song.
I need to reinstall Adobe Audition 3.0.I found my Product Name and Serial Number under Registered Products. But, under Account Order History it is blank. I can not download without a product link. How can I reinstall Adobe Audition 3.0?
I want to report the db levels in audition according to the musical dynamics. For instance, and I am sure most of you know this, 40db means 'Somewhat quiet' or 'pp (pianisimmo) in musical dynamics. But in audition, all the levels are shown in negative values. How can I translate, or convert, those negative levels into positive levels that are meaningful for musical dynamics? Hope I was able phrase the question properly!
I have an iMac M1 using Focusrite Scarlett 4i4 USB preamp along with the Soundsource sound control app, and I noticed that when I mute or lower or increase the volume on my computer it doesn't effect audio in Audition, the volumn stays the same, but it will rightfully effect audio in other open apps like Safari. Also I visually will see Safari show up in the Soundsource interface when it's playing audio, from YouTube for example, but will not show sound playing from Audition when it in fact is playing sound, at first. But then even when I eventually added Audition to Soundsource via Favorites and adjusted the volumn there manually, it still had no effect on the audio volume within Audition being played through the output computer/monitor/speakers. It just always sounds the same unless I manually adjust the volume in the Focusrite Control panel directly, where I can't control volume with the keyboard. So it's just strange that Audition's overall output does
Greetings, Adobe Community: I am trying to upload an image to album art. However, my album art field is greyed out. I have already, recorded, edited, and added an intro and outro. Can I still add album art? (Fingers crossed). [Mod note: Moved to a thread of its own]
I edit a million podcasts and I love that I can template my id3 data so that when I export it's part of the file. But it drives me crazy that I have to export to an mp3 and then open that mp3 to add album art to it. Is there not a way to add the art to the multitrack and just let it sit there and then add it when exporting the mp3? This would save a ton of time and also add a feature that could give Audtion an advantage over other editors. Many people own 3rd party software to add their id3 and art. This would eliminate that if they used audition.Maybe this works now but I cant figure it out if it does.Thank you
I've been using Soundbooth for years and just upgrades to Adobe CC. I cannot find where the heck to add a keyframe in Audition and it's driving me utterly bonkers. As you can see, I don't have the yellow line, so I can't add a keyframe. Everything I find online is for multitrack files, or the person doing the tutorial already has the yellow line. How do I bring that up?TIA.
I have a recording of chatter along with cars. Id like to make the chatter audable. I can hear it audibly but I'd like to have a recording. How do I amplify the chatter? The voice sound is at -42 to -30 db. Im new at this. Suggestions are very welcomed.
I love Adobe Enhance Speech. It is hands down, the best AI driven voice enhancer out there. But I would like to use it in my recording session in Audition. Will there ever be an Adobe Enhance Speech preset or plugin offered for Adobe Audition?
I am trying to use my Zoom H4N, with condenser mic plugged in with phantom power, as an audio interface to record with Adobe Audition or Premiere. I have tried everything to get it to work, the computer recognises the interface, H4N shows up in the sound settings and I have selected it as an input. I try recording with either programme and nothing shows up in the monitor and no sound is recorded on the timeline at all. Have tried every setting to get it to work. It works with Audacity and with Zoom (the video meeting software) but not with Adobe software. I am using a Mac with Ventura 13.3.1. Has anyone else had this problem and knows a solution? Want to record voiceover easily in the programme so it all ties together.
Hello, Since I only found one thread from 2011, I'm wondering if there is now a solution to this problem.I want to scroll through the timeline in Audition (latest version, windows 11) using the mouse wheel or the ring on my tracking ball. It works in combination with the Shift key, but in very small increments. So if I want to scroll from minute 1 to minute 40, it's completely useless. Is there a solution? Thanks
I'm using Audition CS6 on both a Windows 8.1 laptop and a Windows 7 tower (with UAD cards). I'm considering buying the UAD Signature Edition UAD-for-all plugins package to use with my laptop as no hardware is required. It's a good price right now.Any problem with installing these in Audition?Much thanks.

Hi all,In Adobe Audition is have this audio clip I want to remix (so I can extend its duration), only it's not working. Constantly when I press the "Remix" button it says "Analysis failed". I tried to remix just a normal song I had and this worked fine. It seems like all the time when I want to remix this small 2 seconds clip it's not able to remix it. The screenshot attached shows the Analysis failed. How can I solve this so I can extend my audio clip?Mike.
Like the title says, the export option is grayed out. How do I export this project as a music file?
To reproduce:Open "Delete Silence" tool and select some sane thresholdsSelect ~60 min or longer of audio and click "Scan"Detected silence segments include long sections of audio, as if the thresholds were invisibly changed. The number of segments detected is also much smaller than it should be.If you reduce the audio selection slowly (e.g. from 60min to 50min, then 40min, 30min, etc.) and scan at every duration, at some point, it will start working correctly again. Number of segments detected goes from something like 26 to 498 when I shorten the duration from 34min to 33min. This makes no sense, because it longer duration must have more segments. From the behavior, it seems like when more than 500 segments of silence are present, it gives the wrong result.
Hello there.. I am new to Audition. Just wondering if there is a simple one or two click approach to editing a file so as to reduce or eliminate the noise floor. I used to use Hindenburg and they have a pretty sophisticated noise reduction functionality that eliminated ambient noise from the entire file in 2 clicks. So my approach had always been to do this as a first pass and then to go back in and clean up any additional mouth clicks or other unwanted sounds. I'm sure Audition has something similar for a first pass, I'm just not familiar with it.. I'd appreciate any input on a similar approach for Audition and/or any video links that may be helpful. TYIA
I use Audition only for multitrack mixing and exporting to .wav and .mp3. Recently, I was working on a session for several hours when the master mix track went dead, meaning that it no longer receives the signals from all of the session's tracks. I spent a couple of hours troubleshooting this to no avail. It's not a routing error. The session is useless now. Auto-saved session files have the same bug. I've opened previous session that work fine. I have been using Audition since before Adobe bought it and called it Audition (20 years?). Any ideas? Image attached.
I've been recording an audio drama for the past week and as I've been reviewing the recordings I've found that some of the tracks have a strange sort of static quality to them, while others don't. These tracks were recorded in the same multitrack session with the same presets as the clean ones, yet they're unusable. Is there a way to fix this, or will I have to re-record? I've attached an example to this thread.
Hi all,FYI I'm extremely new to the world of audio recording and brand new to Audition. I worked with Focusrite support last night and, after recording in Garageband and Reaper, we determined that the issue is unique to Audition.Anything I record is crunchy/static-y. I've hardly touched any settings (because I don't know which way is up yet lol)Sounds a lot like what this guy experienced. The correct interface is selected for both input and output and I can hear myself just fine through my headphones. WhaTTS HappPeeeNInnnG?! 🫠Thank you for any and all advice!
I clicked on the Razor tool and now it appears whenever I'm in an editing box.How do I stop or get out of the Razor Tool so I can get back to the cursor/pointer?Thanks.
It'd be great if there's an option to import and export metadata similar to Audacity.
Hello, I often nee dto mix the audio for videos, I receive a project and there are a lot of clips, where the file is a stereo one, but in reality it is a multichannel with 2 mono channels. Is there a way that I can split it without going through the files management and splt to mono? Because if I have let's say 30-40 clips like that, I need to go through all that process and resynch each clip. Can't I do it directly in the multichannel editor keeping my synchro?
I'm currently mixing a track, which involves some NY compression on vocals (using a pre-fader send from the vocal track to the NY compression bus). However, when I export the file, the vocals sound choppy and jumbled. When I mute the NY compression bus it's gone and when I make the send post-fader, the problem is also gone. But I would still love to have the send pre-fader. Can somebody help me out?
