I'm working on a project that requires me to record a lot of voice over. I have about 2 and half-ish hours of audio recorded for this, and now for some reason Audition won't let me save or export it. The options are greyed out, and it won't allow me to save using Command + S either. I'm wondering if it's an issue of how big the project file is, or some type of other error.
Hi, just as the title suggests I would like to know how to extract vocals from a song so I can then use it as an acapella using Audition CS5?Also whilst I'm here, again using audition CS5, how can I determine the bpm of whatever sound file I have open, and furthermore how can I then match the bpm from another sound file to match the bpm of the track I'm working on?Thanks for your timeDan
How can I insert the Windows 10 speech recognition default voice "Stefan" into Audition in effects/speech. I always only have one female vote for election.
Hi Everyone. Due to new/improved possiblilities in Spectralayers and UVR software I now started to work with multiple (8) wave files (vocals & instruments) in Audition multitrack mode at the same time. I gives you a better mix in the end. I've set all available pc memory, 32gb, to Audition in settings. (F4) Still Audition starts hanging after some editing into a few tracks. After getting a nearly white screen and taking my time, I'm still able to save the new settings into this multitrack. Saving the wave files in 32 or 16 bit, and into the multitrack settings, doest make any difference.Does anybody else have the same experience? Thanks for reading and hopefully a process solving reply.Windows 11 23H2, AMD Ryzen 9-3900, AMD X570 Aorus Ultra. C:\Disk 9% used out one TB.
Can someone please help me out because I'm losing my mind.. When I'm editing multiple audio files in Adobe Audition, the playhead moves in sync. So: when I edit something at 20 seconds in file 1, suddenly my playhead is at 20 seconds as well in file 2. But also when I zoom in on file 1, file 2 is suddenly zoomed in as well. And when I select the first 20 seconds in file 1, the first 20 seconds are selected in file 2 as well. I do not want these features to sync, I want them to work independently. Right now I'm constantly trying to find the right part I was working on and it costs me so much time. I've been using Audition for years now and never had this issue before. I'm working on the latest version and the only difference I can think of is I switched from a windows laptop to macbook air recently. Can someone please tell me how to fix this issue? Techs: audition 24.2.0.83, macOS 14.2.1 (23C71)
Searched far and wide with no results. Mic worked fine on my old computer. Just got a new MSI Cyborg 15 a12vf and the audio will not record no matter what I try. Updated Realtec and GeForce drivers. Mic works fine in Windows built-in sound recorder as well as Audacity. Also works fine in Premier Pro. Not sure what to try next. Hopefully, someone can help!
I'm looking for someone skilled in forensic audio. Specifically to enhance/isolate voices in a conversation. I've included a piece of audio as a .wav attachment.
I'm recording mono from a microphone in Waveform (not multitrack) mode.Unfortunately the Levels display only functions during actual recording and playback. At other times it just shows -♾️️.How can I monitor my input level so I can test the input without recording?Even hitting pause while recording stops the level display.
Hi all, hoping someone can help here. Current setup is Rodecaster Pro via USB to Macbook. One mic to input 1 and headphones to monitor line 1. Track is recording audio, however I now cannot listen to playback. What should the input/output be assigned to? I plan on recording a podcast. Not sure if the setup will be 2 mono tracks for each mic? or a single stereo track(interview). Appreciate and help. Thanks. - Paul
Problème d'installation Win10 de la version 14 d'Audition et ses mises à jour, idem pour les versions antérieures.Le code 205 correspond à une erreur de téléchargement et/ou de parefeu, pourtant même avec le parefeu désactivé rien n'y fait. Solutions?
I can load tracks into audition, but when I try to play the tracks the cursor will not move and no audio will play. Anyone know what the problem could be?
Hello. If I make a mix of several tracks uploaded to Audition from FLAC files and listen to the final version, everything is fine. Unfortunately, when I save the finished mix as a FLAC file, crackling appears in many places. This doesn't always happen. This most often happens in places at the upper end of the range, but not always. Crackles may also appear during quieter sections. I don't understand this, because I load tracks in perfect quality from FLAC files, I don't change the volume in them, I just combine them with each other and nothing else. The listening experience with Audition is perfect. Only after saving it turns out that there are crackles in the saved FLAC file. When I save it as WAV, the sound is perfect. If I save it in the FLAC format, i.e. lossless, why doesn't the song sound identical to what it sounds in Audition? [Mod note: this is not the same problem as the one in the thread you posted in, so it gets its own one, with FLAC mentioned explicitly in the title
A 2-part question:I recently got a new laptop and when transferring things, I found an AA CC 2017 folder. It got me wondering if I can delete old AA veersion folders. I am using the latest version CC24. Also:I am using the current version (Build 24.2.0.83) and when opening it, it's still looking for things from 2023 version. Can I safely delete the 23 folder as well? When opening the latest version, it's still seeking info from the previous version still on this computer and the old laptop. I get this message:Auditions primary temp folder cannot be foundC:\ users\ michael\ appdata\ local\ temp\ adobe\ audition\ 23.0Please review auditions disk cache preferencesWhere and how do I change this? Thanks for any insight someone can provide!
A wav file is playing back. You load up a batch process with other files (not the one playing back), playback continues with no issues. You hit the Run button. Playback immediately stops and batch process runs. We know that batch process is capable of running in the background while a wav file is playing, because you can hit play on a wav file what is open while a batch process is already running and neither the batch process or the playback have any interruptions or issues. Can the program be fixed so that an ongoing playback is not interrupted at the moment a batch process is started?
Is there a way to hear the Noise Print, or saved Noise Print, before applying it in the Noise Reduction panel?Discovering the advantage of saving noise prints, in order to potentially applied them as you go through the track, just wish there was a way to hear, or preview, each individual noise print first, so I know which one would suit the particular situation best.
Hi! first of all, english is my second language so it might be a little difficult to explain what i'm asking. Is there a way to change the tone of a speaker in audition?Like if i recorded myself speaking and said something that sounded weird, can i change that tone to sound another way? without having to re-record the audio. Im wondering because sometimes when i interview people for videos in my workplace they just stop speaking but their last syllable sounds like they are going to continue speaking, Or like change a bad pronunciation of a word, like fixing just a letter of a word. It could help me a lot to fix little errors and mistakes like those. Thank you in advance!
I can see my "tool" while recording on the screen. But you can’t actually see it. “tool” seems to be placed on the bottom layer.what should i do?
Dear community, My issue is most probably related to hardware issues when recording calls, therefore not directly related to AU. Sometimes I get a sound wawe with flattened or squashed valleys. I cannot figure out why it is happening even though I can sort of correct it with AU. So I come to you with two questions: 1. Why this might be happening? 2. Am I solving this situation properly with AU using the "graphic phase shifter" effect? If so, how can I properly determine the points and its values in the graph?3. Is the quality of my recording affected if I get such flattenned valleys (that do not sound like clipping_? Let me detail everything How we record and what is happeningMe and my team produce a news podcast and we usually contact our sources via WhatsApp (a phone to phone call). The phone making the call is connected to a ZoomH6 recorderMic Inputs with a P2 / P10 cable to one of its , so the call can be recorded (at 44,100 KHz / 16
I cant use preset in the parametric equalizer, it's show the mesage "...did not load correctly". I already reinstalled.
I've been having this issue on and off on various audio projects. When saving a session, Audition prompts me to copy audio files into the session folder. I like having this prompt, as it reassures me that I will be working with copies that remain available when I switch to another workstation. But sometimes after a while into a session, the prompt keeps popping up when saving, even though I have not added any files since the last save. When I click Yes nothing really seems to happen, and when I save the session again, the prompt reappears with the same results. Recently I have been able to pinpoint a possible issue that leads to this. I discovered that I was using two different audio files with the same filename (ZOOM006_LR.wav). I just happened to have two recordings from different folders that I both needed in my session. As the first recording was already copied to Imported Files, Audition was probably unable to save the second file? After closing and reopening the s
I just got a new MacBook Pro and Audition won't let me export my podcast as an MP3. I've done it plenty of times before on my old MacBook Air so I'm not quite sure what the problem is. Anyone know if there is a setting I need to change so my file can be saved as an MP3?
Hi there! Is there any way to adjust the volume of one speaker's voice to match the other? The issue was that I mistakenly used the same input for two different mics. Thank you! Nicole
Is there any installer that will allow Audition to work on M2 MacBook Pro using Parallels 18 on Windows 11? Finally after about a year Creative Cloud works but there is no Audition available!
Using math, we could express frequencies in possibly a new dimension of sound, perhaps we could use imaginary numbers as an expression of a new axis of the sound dimension. It would be cool to use the nature of imaginary numbers in the development of sound editing in quantum computers. This would be a really cool effect to work with new principles of how sound works. Theoretically it would be easier to understand than a fourth special dimension as three dimensional beings, but there is possibly a new way of hearing just under our noses if we were to implement a new function of how we process audio. I thought in talking with copilot, if we are able to calculate imaginary numbers in many different ways on digital computers, we could hypothetically do the reverse that some scientists use to interpret imaginary numbers as sounds we already hear, which is pitch, then maybe we can use the reverse to hear sounds we don't normally hear, another axis of sound. It would b
