Hi, I just tested to change the LUFS value on one of my tracks and noticed that the result seems to be compressed/limited. Is this method destructive to the file, unlike ordinary normalization? /LS

Hi, Reported several errors today, but wanted to see if anyone else is having this issue. Load up mp4 = error. If it does load, go to action or even just click on wave form = errorRe-installed and reboot, still = errorTried different files = error I have the DMP files, but won't allow me to attach 😄 Thanks for any support.
Hi, I have audition build 23.3.0.55 I am experiencing a problem with the waveform in audition lagging the recording by a second or so in single track audio recording. It has been very annoying because when adding to track you have to make allowance for the lag by waiting the second or so. It also plays the sound a second or so in advance of the waveform marker. I played around with the latency settings and although the lag changes, it doesn't fix it. Changed drivers and no success. If I use the internal computer microphone the lag is gone. So I assumed something with the yeti driver. It wasn't doing it previously so I rolled back the audition version, but it still had the lag.The weird fix that I came across by luck in my seeking a solution, was. When I open audition sound hardware settings and open the microphone settings. If I leave the microphone setting dialogue box open and close settings in audition, the lag in waveform disappears when recording. The only problem is ran
Hello team.I have a bug with most VST3 plugins that use "Glitch" (or "Shred" in "Vocal Synth 2").I hear the effect perfectly in preview, but when applying it to my audio track, it does not apply. All the other settings work perfectly, but each time a pluggin has this function it's the same thing.I have the problem with the VST3 of Izotope "Vocal Synth 2", but also "Glitch 2" or "Portal".I tried these VST3 in Audacity, I don't have this problem. It's really specific to Adobe Audition.Do you know where it could come from?Thank you in advance for your precious help 🙂 PS: I made a video capture so that you can better understand
I generated an audio file from Synthesia, an AI audio platform. I noticed that their AI system is not able to create questions. The AI model just pronounces the words as a sentence. Is there a way I can change the pitch from a sentence to a question? I've checked some tutorials about Manual Pitch Correction and Pitch Bender but either it doesn't sound like a question or it changes the voice altogether. Please see the file attached. when she says"about it" it sounds like an end of a sentence, not a question.
I'm editing an audiobook narration on a Windows machine, audio is 44.1/16. I have a :30 sample of "room tone" on my clipboard. When I go to "mix paste"/auto heal a pause with a breath or booth noise, and "mix paste", I'm getting a "pop" in the filled segment (usually at the beginning of the segment). Screenshots of an example of the "pop" as well as my mix-paste settings. Thank you!
Hi everyone, i have a problem with adobe audition i have been working on this project with couples tracks in multitrack session but during export i found some of the track did not export but others did so can i please have some help on this.
¡Gracias!
Hi!! I am trying to select specific waves to silence them (as they are birds chirping and I do not want that in my sound) and cannot figure out how to do that?? I have included an image below. If you have any suggestions I would love to hear them!! Thanks so much!
Hello everyone, I've been doing voice-over for about four months and am really enjoying it and learning a lot as I go. However, I've been having an issue that I just can't figure out. Searching on these forums, Google, and YouTube hasn't revealed a solution. Basically, some parts of my words (beginning or end) either sound muffled/underwater, and sometimes the letter in the word is absent entirely. This seems to happen randomly - the only time it happens consistently is at the very beginning of my voice-over after at least 10 seconds of silence, but it'll also happen in my live read in the middle of a sentence. I have experienced this issue with different microphones, and with/without windscreens and amplifiers. Also with different mic distance to mouth and different levels of amplification. I don't believe this is sibilance or plosives but I could be wrong? For reference, I'm currently using a RODE PODMIC XLR and Behringer U-Phoria UM2 interface, with a Klark Technic CM-1 mic boo
A month ago, I received an error code 205 when trying to open adobe Audition on my M1 MacOS. Only one of the production computers I use it on has this problem. On all systems all other Adobe Apps work without a problem. I saw one thread which suggested a fix via a Microsoft .exe file update. So, not applicable here.
This is driving me insane! I'm using CS6, yes I know, old. Anyway, I open Au, choose waveform and the settings I have used hundreds of times before, click to record and it just sits there! I have closed all other programs, done all the maintenence things, rebooted the computer, absolutely everything I can think of short of uninstalling and reinstalling the program. This is new since the last time I recorded. I haven't purposfully changed anything, it just won't freakin' go! Please help!
I'm having frequent unpredictable crashes in audition. Quite often when this occurs Audition has generated no backup despite my settings showing that it should generate a backup every 3 minutes. What were you doing when it crashed?Every time this occurs I am editing a multi-track session. I have usually just moved an item or made a cut with the razor tool. What have you done since you last launched the application?I often close Audition in between sessions and before beginning a new task. So the last time I launched Audition I edited until it crashed. If it crashes with a plug-in or a file, supply information about the plug-in or file.N/AHas anyone else experienced the crash? Anyone else on the forums, or perhaps a friend that also owns Audition?I have spoken to my team of editors and no one can replicate the same issue I am having. Was there an error message? Post a screenshot. The screen always shows the generic "audition has crashed screen" and asks me to submit a bug report
I have an audio recording that has multiple people talking. However, one person (male) liked to talk over everyone else. I want to remove his voice so I can use the other people's voices (all females). Is there a way to do this in Audition or am I out of luck? The file is part of multi-track audio in a video file (mp4), all the voices in question are on 1 track.
Hi everyone,I am wondering if it is possible to use/integrate Voicemod with Audition. I just started using Voicemod and have reached out to their tech support with the same query. But in the meantime, does anyone know if it's possible? Either by integrating Voicemod directly into Audition, or exporting a keybind or voice recording from Voicemod into Audition as a .wav file?
Surprised by the latest technology (noise elimination) in the Adobe podcast. Thank you for creating this wonderful technology. I hope this feature is also applied to Adobe Creative Cloud. Especially, I hope it will be applied to the 'noise reduction' function for Adobe auditions. Also, I would like to apply it to the 'Vocal Remove' function so that I can only remove the voice more accurately.
Good evening. I just realized that I built an entire session in the sample of 48000. Now I can't copy/past files into this session from my 44100 sessions. Is there a way I can convert this 48000 session down to a 44100 session? I tried batch process and it looked like it would work, but I got a warning that it would not...and it didn't. I don't want to have to rebuild this session. Any advice would be most appreciated!Joey
I've loaded the tracks into Audition and applied no effects or anything to them, just started playback before doing any editing. For some reason the slightest breathing noises are insanely amplified, as if Audition is trying to bring them up to the normal volume of the rest of the track. There's another instance where I have to jack the volume up very high in a regular media player to hear a tiny breath, but in Audition it comes through as a loud pop. None of this is happening in Audacity. I haven't had this happen before and have no idea what's causing it.
I've tried more than a few times and a few different ways to save a .sesx to a new file and change the sample rate, and whenever I do, the multi-track clips don't adjust properly, leaving (non-destructive) edits to clips completely wrong and sounding bad. The first method was something posted in 2017 here. It worked for the OP, but either he had a simple session, or the process no longer works. Then I discovered File > Export > Session... which also allows you to adjust the sample rates of the files in the session, but the resulting session also has issues with the conversion. In Audition 3, you could Just do a Save As, and the program took care of the rest (converting all files to .wav and the right sample rate for the session) when you checked the "Save All Files..." checkbox. Just wondering if there is a way to get this to work?
I recorded a WAV file in Adobe AuditionI removed the breathing noise (Effects/Noise Reduction/Noise Capture/Apply)I confirmed the sound was removed by replaying the WAV file.I saved the WAV File.I exported it and renamed it, just to be on the safe side to make sure it was really removed.I played the exported file in my Windows default audio player and confirmed the breathing noise was removed.I opened Adobe Audition and created a new Multi-Track / Podcast templateI opened the exported WAV file in my multi-track session.I pulled the exported WAV file into the host section of the podcast. It LOOKS like the breathing is gone because the audio line is completely flat between sentences. But, when I play it...The breathing is back!!! The sounds that I removed weren't REALLY removed? They were still included in the file after I exported it? I called tech support. They said, "It happens sometimes." Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong so that this doesn't happen sometimes?&n
I'm comparing two audio files and need to quickly change back and forth between the "A" audio (on track 1) and the "B" audio on track 2. What I've been ding is just using the Mute or Solo buttons on each track. But that takes too long. Is there a way to do it like when you are auditioning an effect? You can click the Preview button, and then toggle the Power State on and off to quickly compare. Thanks!
Hi there, when creating a marker in the multi-track using a keyboard shortcut, the playbar jumps back to the start of the session, which is infuriating for my workflow, as I usually create multiple markers next to each other. Worth mentioning this is only since the last update... Thanks!
It would be like Moms Apple pie if I could add Normalize -3 db in my effects rack..... my question is why not?
