My work and home computers both access a folder in my main Dropbox folder called "camera-import."- At work, I can use keyword search within this folder with no problems.- At home, the same keyword search finds nothing. If I go up one level into the main Dropbox folder, the keyword search works if I check 'include all subfolders.' This doesn't help me, because I only want to find the files within that one folder, not all of Dropbox. I'm running Bridge 13.0.3.693 on both computers.I have rebuilt the folder cache.Other suggestions?
I open a photo from Bridge to use in Camera Raw and then Photoshop. When finished I save/close the photo and return to Bridge. The image I just opened is highlighted as is the next photo in the sequence. So now I have two photos highlighted. This just started happening. Previously Bridge would highlight only the next photo in the sequence. How do I stop it from highlighting two photos?
Double-clicking to open an After Effect file in Bridge will open After Effect but then a window prompt will indicate the file "does not exist". I can open the same After Effect files straight from After Effect though.
Many of the issues in this latest version of Bridge on Mac Ventura can be solved by going to System Preferences on Mac.It's now called System Settings. Go to Privacy and Security. You will have to add Adobe Bridge 2023 to 4 of the items listed there:Files and Folders, Full Disk Access, Accessibility and Input Monitoring. Select each of these one at a time, and if you don't see Adobe Bridge 2023 in the list, click on the TINY little + sign at bottom. This opens your Application folder. Click on Adobe Bridge 2023.app inside the Adobe Bridge folder. Click Open. Now it will show up in the list. Do this for all 4 items in Pricacy and Security. Restart the computer. When I did this, and opened Bridge, all my issues were solved. Hope this helps.
Hallo!
PSD files not showing in Bridge 2023, message: "Could not complete your request because Photoshop does not recognize this type of file." Files can be opened directly into Photoshop. MacBook Pro 2022 OS 13.3.1 Any ideas?
Ich habe ausversehen ein paar Bilder in Adobe Bridge 2023 gelöscht. Kann ich diese irgendwo wiederherstellen?
The new update of Adobe Bridge 13.0.3.693; still has bugs for when I exit out from RAW editing from within Bridge in Photoshop CC or Bridge only, it crashes every time and leaves a dump file. So, when are the Adobe Engineers team are going to fix this issue, please?
I've been having trouble with keywords saving in Bridge. When I select a keyword and click away, the keyword does not save. It does seem to work if I manually type the keyword into the file data. The files are from Google Drive but other people working on the same files don't seem to have this issue. I have tried accessing the files both offline with no luck. Any way I can fix this?
Hello everyone,in the latest Bridge when I open raw file in Camera Raw and want to export the file with the .TIF ending, the file format switches for JPEG XL... and it does not work the other way around neither – when I pick the TIFF format the ending switches for .PSD – why is it happening? I am asking because I was happy with this way of exporting the tif files because of its possibilities to customize the size of exported file (especially the one of setting limit of megapixels). Maybe there is also other way that I do not know about and will be super happy for sharing! Thanks!A.
I have searched the forum and can not find an answer to this. It has been asked by others several times but it seems people dont understand the question as the answers have been incorrect or irrelevant, for example here Change the metadata to display image dimensions at different resolution Basically what happens is when in Preferences you set Bridge thumbnails to show image dimensions it will show the dpi as well. In the images I have I use both 72dpi and 300dpi versions of the same image as I work on websites and also printed material. Generally they all show 72dpi even though I know they are 300dpi. The only way I can find to force it to display correctly is to open the image and then save it again, which in the case of jpegs only degrades the image quality further and is a process I dont want to have to apply to thousands of images. For example I open this folder in Bridge and the selected images says 72dpi. In Indesign and Photoshop it is clearly 300dpi. If I then save it without
I have figured out how to use the Bridge script to bring metadata into a file using this script:https://github.com/Paul-Riggott/PS-Scripts/blob/master/DIY%20Metadata.jsx but the formatting of the dialog box is such that it is difficult to read. The background is white and the type is light gray. Where do I tweak the code to adjust this? Mac OSX Bridge 2023 screenshot of dialogue box attachedThanksRon
the new denoise al says its not compatible with the photo format
I've been using the "move to Bin" when moving files to the trash. However when I go into my trash the files are not there. Where the heck are the files if I want to recover them? I don't see a "BIN" anywhere. Very frustrated.TIA
Hello,I tag all my photos with keywords and usually use the Bridge Search function to find specific images ("water", "portraits", etc). But today, when I was trying to do a search, not all the photos that I know are tagged with a certain keyword were showing up, and some keywords even gave me no results. I may have deleted the cache trying to reset something? Please help!!! Thank you.
I have a MAC STUDIO. In BRIDGE 2022 if I wanted to FIND something I would simply do COMMAND "F" and it would take me to where I could just type in specifically what I was looking for. But now in 2023 when I do COMMAND F I have to go through "Look In", "Criteria" and then type in what I'm looking for. Why did this change and is there any way I can go back to the previous 2022 way of finding somehimg?
Hallo Wenn ich in bridge die ausgewählten bilder verschieben will, dann kopieren die. Wie kann ich das ändern . Vielen dank traute
On two different Macbooks running two different OS versions (Big Sur & Ventura) and Bridge vs 13.0.3.693 swapping a USB drive of media between them, neither seems to be able to compile a keyword search index of the whole USB drive. They both get stuck trying to index an empty .Trashes folder on the USB drive. I have unhidden the .Trashes folder afterwards and it is empty, so what is the indexing process getting stuck on?
Is there a way to make a shortcut in bridge for ; Tools/Photoshop/Imageprocessor + selected action and Run ! , I use this a looot so it would be a dream having a shotcut for it .
When using Bridge to batch compress and export, whether it's the Export panel or the Workflow panel, I can't create another export unless I close the panel showing that progress. This wasn't the case previously. Am I missing something? Additionally, why can I not dock that progress window into a Workspace organization?
When I add multiple keywords to a photo and then go back and look at the photo later, only one of the keywords is present. I'm using Adobe Bridge 2023.
Bridge wont export selected photos to PDF
Bridge Version 13.0.3.693 I download photos - no problem. I select several to rename - fill out the name and sequence number. It will change the name, but will duplicate the photo with the same number. I have a work around, but it is a pain that I even have to do it. I am running Bridge and Photoshop on a Mac with Ventura 13.3.1 Anyone else running into this problem?
I am not real good in Photoshop anyway and now all of a sudden after I get through editing a RAW file in Bridge and try to open it, it goes to Photoshop as an XMP file and turns totally black. There is no picture at all when it opens in Photoshop. What am I doing wrong? Thank you
