Bridge

I think I'm late to the game asking this but when I'm shooting and I particularly like an image I will "lock" it in my Nikon camera. In the later versions of Bridge it would show me in the RAW file name with a little "padlock" which ones they are. Now this has dissapeared, its been gone for a while now. Does anyone know if there is an option to turn it back on?  Thanks in Advance!

I work in Adobe Bridge and uses it’s "get photo"-tool to download the pics from the cameras memory card. Been doing like this for many years w/o any problems. But when Bridge got to version 13 something happened. At first it suddenly doubled the memory card. When I mounted one memory card, the "get photo"-tool showed “EOS_Digital #1” and “EOS_Digital #2”. Both "cards" showed the same images, but the ones on #1 was distorted in the preview (not when downloaded). This was a strange behavior, but not a big problem. Today something else happend... Now the"get photo"-tool doesn’t show any memory card at all. I can see the card on the desktop (and in Bridge) and can manually copy the pics from the card. But the"get photo"-tool doesn’t show any card at all. I have tried several cards and two different card readers. But with the same result - the cards shows on the desktop (and in Bridge), but not in"get photo"-tool. Any idea’s why this is happening and what to do? The card

Hallo Für das Anzeigen der Focuspunkte fehlt in Bridge die Funktion. Ich fotografiere mit Nikon. Ich kann die Focuspunkte in Nikon NX-Studio anzeigen bei meinen RAW's. Da ich aber den Adobe Workflow nutze und alle meine Bilder in DNG umwandle zeigt mir Nikon NX-Studio diese Bilder nicht mehr. Aus diesem Grund erwarte ich mir von ADOBE hier eine Lösung in Bridge!Vielen DANKFoto Aichi

I am having a lot of troubles using Bridge. After computer ( Windows 10)  startup i can load Bridge via Photoshop once.....when i close down Bridge screen and try to start it again after a few minutes nothing happens. I allready tried previous versions and the latest updates for the latest version. Does not work. After starting up my pc again...i can load Bridge just once again , but only once. When is this going to be fixed...seems i am not the only one sick and tired of this problem.

He desinstalado y vuelto a instalar pero siempre me sale el mismo error.   Tengo un iMac con procesador intel con MacOS Ventura. ¿Alguien sabe a qué se debe este error?, porque en la ayuda no encuentro nada ni que se le parezca siquiera.Gracias por adelantado.Un saludo. Óscar.

Photoshop updated and now XMP files are no longer hidden. I hate these. Please help. I've followed instructions listed here, but it's not working. My settings:

Hi!Where has Photoshop under the menu of Tools gone? I need to do some actions over several pictures.

I use Adobe Bridge to proof my photos and quick edit in camera raw and I've noticed since Tuesday, every time I'm doing my usual workflow my files keep disappearing completely from my hard drive that I work on. I don't delete them accidentally or anything but I just went through and made selects from a 600 photo gallery and I go to a different folder and go back to it and the photos are completely gone!!! It says files cannot be found. I go to my hard drive and they are gone from there too. Nothing in my trash can. I'm getting so frustrated because I've spent so much time going through these images already. Help!!!

I use Adobe Bridge to sync my colour profiles, using 'Europe Prepress 3' But I'd like to use sRGB instead of Adobe RGB 1998 Is this possible? I can't find a way to do it 

I'm working between Bridge and Lightroom. I cull photos in Bridge, make minor edits and give ratings to selects, and the edits get stored in XMP sidecar file. Next, I import them into Lighroom for further editing.  I finish them, give them ratings, and save the metadata to XMP.  I then load Bridge, and Bridge does not synchronize the edits.   How do I know?   There should only be 289 photos with a 1-star rating or highter.  I load into bridge and it shows 294 photos with ratings. Which 5 photos did not sync?  This is maddening! I've purged all cache in Bridge and it wont update. It still shows 294 photos. Which makes me think Lightroom isn't actually saving the metadata to XMP files for all the images.   PLEASE help. This is so frustrating.   What am I missing here?

Is it possible to download the installer files of Bridge 2022 and 2023 so i can install them when im ofline?

I am paying monthly for this monopolisitic program, that doesn't improve and gets worse.  I have been using Bridge to store data for all my shots since Photoshop 3.1, and Bridge is ruined.  It has been months since one can no longer have 2 Bridge Windows open, see thumbnails of more modern cameras such as the Nikon Z9.  Free programs such as Nikon Studio, Resolve, and Windows Media can play these videos, and Nikon Studio has the data, and now I can't even add metadata to any videos.  So I can't see them, I can't have a description, or keywords or any relevant data and have to keep going to other programs to see what each is, back and forth. How can it be legal to charge a subscription fee for something one is essentially wedded to, because of decades of use and storing and keeping track of data,  and then render it almost useless while promoting Lightroom which I don't like, never will.  I could see videos play and have data with CS6 and earlier.&nbsp

I use a Macintosh Apple M1 Pro chip with 32 GB memory.   OS version Ventura 13.2   Bridge version 13.0.2.636   Photoshop version 24.2.0 release     I have extensive experience with Photoshop from way way back.   Everything has been working fine until recently a couple of weeks.  Work flow involved download files from camera (CR3) to a folder and then been opening CR3 files from Bridge so I could adjust them them and then send them the adjusted files directly to Photoshop 2023.  A couple of weeks ago I noticed some hickups with Bridge not sending the adjusted files to Photoshop 2023.   Sometimes no file would be open in PS, sometimes on or two images would open, sometimes all images would open.  I thought I had that resolved but today the issue returned.Sometimes the all the adjustments I made to the Raw files would not even save in Bridge if I clicked DONE. A thread was closed regarding bridge flickering  (First seen Approx 1 year ago) whilst previewing images appartently lastest update sorted issue NOT SO its as bad as ever a epileptic seizure warning needs to be issued Its OK for the first 10 or so imaging then goes into complete melt down and makes viewing image impossible I know alot of customers have left and have Photo Mechanic 

I have both a laptop and a PC tower and on the three latest bridge updates the preview is blank on both machines. The version 12 works fine. Also on my new PC (when I search the exact same search on both machines) it only finds a 10th of the imges that my laptop finds.

Hi, I can't use bridge while I'm transfer photos anymore. Is there a fix for that or a settings option that I'm missing? Bridge 13.0.3.693. Thanks.

When I open a jpg in Bridge it tries to open it in Lightroom and I want the default to be Photoshop. My preferences all have photoshop in them but when I right clight the jpg in Bridge it says Lightroom is the default. How do I change this? It is a pain. When I double click an image with intent to open it in Photoshop, it automatically picks Lightroom which I have to cancel and respecify which program I want it to open with. 

Since 2023 / Bridge 13, the Metadata hover box has been REALLY glitchy. It used to get stuck on screen with previous versions, but now sometimes it shows up for a split second only while the mouse is moving (seemingly) and other times it shows up and won't go away. I have to fully quit bridge to make it go away. Leaving Bridge open and toggling the "Show Metadata on hover" option on and off doesn't work.  I will sometimes have 2 or 3 stuck metadata boxes on top of whatever I'm trying to work on, including opening files in ACR. And the box stays on top of the entire system. I haven't found any app that covers the box once it is stuck. Driving me crazy. Mac Studio M1 Ultra, Bridge 13.0.1.583

Problem with Adobe Bridge 13.0.3.686: When photos are exported, one cannot continue to work in Bridge while images are exported in the background.

Hi,    Bridge 2023 fully patched on a Mac    I store my images in folders based on camera model and then handle them by creating a collection based on event.  From then on I work in the Collection and not the folder.     The problem is that on my first pass through the images, I delete failed images, duplicates and other undesirables.  All looks well during that session.  The trouble is that next time I start Bridge and look at the collection I have an error at the top of the screen saying that the collection has many missing files.    It seems that deleting a file inside a collection does not remove the entry in the collection.  Instead it remains as an orphan.  On reopening the collection, e.g. on reopening Bridge, it then gets all upset because it can't find the files.    Is there any way I can report this as a bug please?

WTFPlease bring this basic and so needed feature back!!! For the love of God!! Jesus!!!crazy 

Using latest version of Bridge:13.0.3.693  Windows 10 Pro 64 bitI'd like to add a panel group vertically, i.e. add a "row" to a verical column of panel groups and can't figure how to do it nor find any google searches to show.  All of the preinstalled workspaces provide with bridge only show one or two vertical groups so I wonder if it's even possible.  See screenshot.

I recently processed some RAW files using Capture one.  I then created large jpgs of the images.  They output to my tablet fine as well as when I view them in Windows Explorer.  However when I look at the same files in Bridge, two are very dark with one looking like it has a bad high dynamic range effect applied. I would understand this more if they all were weird looking but I don't understand what would have happened to make Bridge act this way to only a couple of images of a bunch that that were all processed pretty much the same way.I've included the worst one below.  It will be interesting to know if this looks OK to everyone.  Maybe open it up in YOUR Bridge.Thoughts?

I like to display images in a two column grid Content panel, leaving plenty of room for a good size Preview panel.I thought old Bridge used to display keywords next to thumbnails in this grid view configuration. I can't see how to make it, now. The Details view is good, but only allows one column?
