I absolutely hate the updated Camera Raw editing.    Very user-unfriendly!!!  Please change it back.  I was in the middle of working on wedding pictures when the update happened.   All of a sudden my workflow slowed to a crawl.  To have to figure out where everything is. PLEASE CHANGE CAMERA RAW EDITING BACK!!!

I'm running Br 14.1.0 on windows 11 64 bit. Recently Br stopped displaying file names below thumbnails and right clicking on a thumbnail does not have an option to rename a file. I've uninstalled and reinstalled Br twice without saving preferences but this hasn't helped.  Can anyone suggest a way to fix these two issues?  Br seems to be operating normally except for the above problems.  Thanks.

I currently experience a strange effect:When I rename and save a "normal" jpg file I had exported from Lightroom (2560*2560, with Meta data) bridge "blows up" the image.From before 4.4MB the image now shows 26.5MB!And size increased from 2560x2560 to 5971x5972!See attached screenshots.How that? What's going on here? I checked settings and disabled some Meta-parameters; and also all references to raw data I found (that was my first idea that Bridge might save as raw, what imO would be stupid 😉 ).I used Bridge many times before and never had this kind of problems!I this the reuslt of the new "AI era"?Thanks for any help/suggestion.I helped myself in sorting in Lighroom, buf prefered continueing using Bridge in future...Hans

I click on Bridge icon in dock  it appears to be opening but doesn't. I am running on mac mini M2 Pro Sonoma 14.5

In the past, I could select files, go to Batch Rename, input my renaming criteria, and the changes would be made without affecting the file extension. However, for quite a while now, I have had to manually add a "new file extension" line to my Batch recipe in order for the files not to drop a file extension completely. See attached images to see what happens when I leave off the appropriate extension in the recipe. Nothing I've tried has worked and I've searched various Adobe forums off and on for ages. I just updated to the new 10.1.0.163 Bridge today (that released alongside Photoshop 21.2.0) AND reset my preferences.  Nothing helps. Any ideas? Edited to add, this also means the cache has to be rebuilt for all the images.

I love Bridge. It does everything that I need from a browser. The problem that I have - and it's not consistent - is that I like to create sub folders with completed jpgs. Each new folder might be for a specific team, Team A, Team B. I sort through the higher layer and give Team A a colour (say blue) while Team B gets red. In "Filter" I can select on Blue. I select them all and "Copy To" the new Team A sub folder. Maybe 50% of the time I get an error, and I can't do it. If I promote those sub folders to place them higher in the file hierarchy, then the Copy To works fine. Is there a limit of sub folders that Bridge can work to?

  Hallo zusammen, kann mir jemand mitteilen, weshalb ich meine externe Festplatte auf dem Bridge nicht mehr angezeigt bekommen. Wenn ich die RAW Bilder auf den Desktop ziehe, sind die Bilder ersichtlich. Dies habe ich seit einem Update vor 1/2 Jahr und ich weiss nicht, wie ich das beheben kann. Vielen Dank für eure Hilfe.

I should start this post by asking why the hell I'm still using this absolute piece of junk program? Jesus, Adobe is producing nothing but glitch after bug after glitch these days. Does anyone know of any genuine alternatives out there? Something that *actually* works?  To the problem at hand: So, after installing the new scripts for Bridge (which I was prompted to do), it reinstalled, and now I have lost "Tools" and therefore "Image Processor" in Bridge. Where has this disappeared to, and why (WHY, ADOBE!?!?!?!) does this change with every update?!?!?  I am not a super technical / computer-literate person, so simple explanations would really help.Any help would be very much appreciated! Thank you.Oliver

Hi,While culling images, I will delete an image. I press the arrow on the keyboard to veiw the next image and it automatically skips an image and jumps to the third one. I have to then go back one image each time I do this. Any help?

I have a subscription to InDesign, Photoshop and Lightroom. Why can't I open my JPG images in Camera Raw via Bridge?

Working off an external drive, and I've just gone to edit from my Collections, but not a single one is showing! They've all completely gone! Freaking out as the process of going through 40 odd games (sports photographer) to create new client Collections (for editing) is going to take soooo long.  Any idea what has happened as is there any way to get them back??  They were there last night.  But they are not there now. 😞 

I just upgraded to Adobe Creative Cloud All Apps. I had already been using Bridge, in which I had created some metadata templates. Downloading ACC has apparently altered or over-written my previous installation of Bridge and created a problem: When I go to Tools/Append Metadata, my template names are greyed out and unusable (will not append). On the other hand, when I select Tools/Edit Metadata Template I can see the list of my previous templates as normal (not greyed out). What can I do to restore their normal function?

New folder of NEF files and go to open in Bridge but get this:  “The Camera Raw settings could not be applied because there were noCamera Raw files or selected files were read-only.” Any suggestions or workarounds to this gli8tch?  I tried rebooting  but the same. 

I'm using Bridge 14.1.0 on a Mac running Sonoma 14.4.1. I would like to display the Description metadata field in Slideshow captions. In Settings > Thumbnails I have specified "Show: Description" and I can see the Descriptions just fine in the Bridge window when I select "View > As Thumbnails". However when I play a Slideshow by going to "View > Slideshow Options..." and choosing "Caption: Full", I see only the filename, with blank space below it. In fact I am unable to display any other metadata at all. Is there a fix/workaround for this?

Bonjour,Dans Bridge, certaines vignettes sont sur fond blanc, d'autres ont un fond transparent. Je voudrais que toutes les vignettes affichent la transparence, car plusieurs de mes objets sont en blanc et je ne peux pas les gérer dans bridge sans transparence. Il s'agit de fichiers .aiIl n'y a bien sûr pas d'arrière plan blanc dans ces fichiers. J'ai passé les plans de travail en couleur dans illustrator, mais cela ne change rien.J'ai activé la transparence de Bridge. Avez-vous une explication ou une solution ?Merci ! 

I'm starting to use Bridge 14.1.0.257, and when I look at the user guide, the workspace area at the top of the screen shows Essentials, Libraries, Filmstrip, Output, Metadata, and Workflow.  I only see Essentials. I've attached screenshots of what I see in the user guide and what I see.  I've edited workspaces to put Filmstrip and Output below the word "Bar", and Bridge will only display Essentials.  I can access Libraries, Filmstrip, Output, etc if I click on the double arrow to the right of Essentials.  I've uninstalled Bridge and deleted Preferences and reinstalled and have the same results.  Has there been a change to Bridge where I should only use the double arrows or is there something I have to do that I missed? Gary

Howdy, I've noticed as of yesterday that bridge is failing to save brush masks.  I can apply the mask and everything looks good, but once I click "Done" in the lower right corner, the brush masks are not saving.  The Brush Masks do appear if I save my RAW file out as a JPG from Bridge, but they do not appear when I open the RAW file in photoshop.

I'm unable to star rate images. No matter how I try to rate them whether using the keyboard shortcut or the Label menu. All it does when I rate the image there is a quick flash of text (Writing metadata to C8576584.CR2) and no rating is applied. I was able to clear cache and the rating showed up, then I wanted to change the rating and it doesn't work again and it doesn't work on other images either. 

I have a large batch of multiple panos. I want to take these raw files and merge them into panos. But... I don't want to do one set at a time.  Is there a way to batch process panos in Bridge or PS? Thanks,Scott

I am trying to export a PDF where I dragged in files for a work server. Whenever I hit export PDF it looks like all images are going to load but then this message appears "Some of the files are not valid". I'm then moved to Adobe Acrobat where half of the images are needed are not on the PDF. Has this ever happened and been solved for anything?   

I've seen that the templates are supposed to be stored on a MAC here: /Users/<username>/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Bridge 2024/Output Module/TemplatesOn Sonoma 14.0 there is no directory "Output Module"Can anyone help here? Many thanks! Andrew

All of a sudden just now all of my NEF files are opening up into Camera Raw 15.2 from Bridge with neon pixels all over them.  I was opening up files just fine and then all of a sudden this, see attached.  All thumbnails are fine and even if I continue to open it in Photoshop it opens up fine.  It's just in Camera Raw from Bridge it looks like this.  I can't edit in post with it like this, any ideas? I've already restarted my computer and nothing.

I prefer to simply press the "1" key instead of Crtl +1.Is there any option to change this? It can be anything else, other keys, as long as 1 button. Dawid 

After purchasing a new screen, I have issues with my colors when working in Camera Raw, Bridge and PhotoshopScreen is Dell U3223QE – we have not used a professional calibration tool. Colors have been adjusted to look like prints and old screen which was calibrated. When I open a folder in Bridge, I see the thumbnails but if I mark the thumbnail, the tone of the image changes. Sometimes from warm to cold and sometimes from col to warmExample:I open Bridge: I mark the thumbnails and they change to a cooler tone Color settings in Bridge is: When opening the DNG image in Camera Raw, it opens in the warm tone Color settings in camera Raw are the following: When I then open from DNG converter (no adjustments), it opens in Photoshop in a cooler version Color settings in Photoshop are: Windows and other software:When previewing in windows, the tumbnail is showing the warm color but when opening the image, the cooler version are displayed.
