Hi, Just bought an M1 mac, it takes bridges ages to generate thumbnails. Giving a rating, I have to wait untill the star pops up? Its just very slow. My old Mac Pro from 2008 did it way faster? Its very hard to work that way. I have to work around bridge to make some progress. What is going on? Software redering is set to ON, Using M1 with 16GB RAM, Macos Monterey 12 and Bridge 12. I have a paid plan, I was expecting this to work fast and correct.

Left/Right and Up/Down arrows jump to wrong thumbnail.(beta 13.0.0.561 on M1 silicon Mac) In a multi-level folder hierachy with 20+ thumbnail images/folders at each level, use the arrows and command (Apple) key to navigate. CMD-Down to get into a folder, and CMD-Up to come back up a level. Go down, and use the Left and Right arrows to move through images, then pop back up a level. Now use the Up/Down keys by themselves (no CMD) and they don't work at all. Go down a level and back up again. This time, use Left or Right and your selection will pop to an unexpected place in the thumbnail gallery.

Hi Everyone,I downloaded the latest Bridge upadate 13.0.0.562.  When copying from a card connected via a card reader to an external drive in Bridge the default between two different locations was always 'copy'.  Now, it seems to be move.  Once I moved the files I accidentally hit the undo shortcut on my mac and it got rid of all the files I had just moved so then they were no longer on the card or the external drive.  They had just disappeared (not in my trash either).  Is there any way to change this dangerous default? Mac 12.6Bridge 13.0.0.562

After the Bridge 13 (and 13.0.1) update Bridge won't start. Get this error: Unknown error; quitting application. Working on OS Montery with M1 Pro chip. Is this a know error and is a fix on its way?

Hello Bridge team, I'm working with Bridge 13.0.0.474 on an M1 Max machine running Mac OS 12.5.1. Bridge does not let me open Mac shortcuts to folders. Neither double-clicking nor right-click > Open work. Reveal in Finder and Reveal in Bridge both work, but that is not convenient. I don't want to have to recreate shortcuts by adding them to Bridge Favorites, I just want to open the folder.  Thanks for your consideration. Patti

I am using the latest CC 2017 and all is up to date.  When I am in After Effects, I know I SHOULD be able to browse in Bridge animation presets and select one and double click it and it should apply to my layer that is selected in my comp.  It gives an error that it is an unsupported file type.  Seems many have experienced this from as far back as at least a couple years ago.  So Adobe cant fix this yet?  Even right clicking and selecting Place in Adobe After Effects doesn't work.  Yes I know there are other ways to apply the presets but the point is, this method is SUPPOSED to work.  When we pay a premium price for a product such as this with this monthly rental thing and the expectations that we will always be able to be updated to the newest and latest, we should have this working by now.  Is there a fix for this?

I have the current version of Bridge installed on my desktop. (  9.0.2.219 X64 ) and have the latest drivers for my display adapter. ( NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 ).I am getting the following message : ( see photo )It only happens on boot up. It also happened before I updated the Nvidia driver.Any suggestions ?

I am in Filmstrip view with the files displayed as thumbnails. It used to show the start rating right below each thumbnail. Those suddenly disapeared, how can I make them shown again? There is a large tab at the very bottom of the screen with buttons to apply the star rating. If I click these, i can change the rating of the selected thumbnail. This is not how I want to do it. I want instead to just click the starts to fill/unfill the rating. The problem is not the size of the thumnail strip. I have dragged to increase the height to the full size of the screen, and they still don't appear. The only suggested sloution to this that I have found is to reset ALL of the Adobe Bridge settings. Please do not suggest that; I have other settings configured, and I don't want to spend a full day remembering what needs to be changed and how. Bridge version 13.0.1.583.

Since downloading Bridge 2023 update the automatic Photo Downloader has an error message of F:/Application not found.  I have a feeling I did the wrong thing and deleted the previous versions of Bridge before downloading the current version.  I think that Bridge is trying to search for the downloader application from the F: (card reader) drive rather than where Bridge itself is stored i.e. the C: drive.  Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Sorry = photography is my thing and not computers yikes.

Have not used bridge for a while but wanted to check my external drive for some images.  YIKES,  it took forever and I still coounld not access my images on my external drive.  I used to be able too,  what am I missing?  LIke Bridge for the ability to view all images but it is not opening... 

Hi,since a few weeks I cannot open Bridge. Code error 205. At the beginning, I had an old version. I tried to upgrade to recent version, but my OS mac was old. I install new OS for mac (Monterey 12.6.1). I install again Bridge, I downloaded latest version. Same story. I tried a less recent version of Bridge... It seemed working... I werk two hours... very happy. Then... same story. Error Code 205. I uninstall all the Adobe package! CC, lightroom, reader, bridge. I installed again all...It does not work. I tried to log out and login a lot of time... same story. I'm desesperate... and I can not reach Adobe support. Someone can help me? Thanks

With the new release of Bridge 13.0.0.562 on windows 10 the manual sort (using .bridgesort info) is not applied when Bridge is reopened. This is probably related to the new content pane (multiple content panes available) in the new release.

Along with many of the other problems people have been posting about, I'm having problems highlighting large numbers of image to open.  I'm using a Macbook Pro M1 Max. Option/Command while selecting always worked before.  Now anytime I try to add more selections this way, everything else I've selected becomes unselected.  Additionally, scrolling always stalls and prevents me from attempting a group selection all the way to the bottom.What's my work-around after multiple tries and fist shaking?  I close out Bridge 2023 and open Bridge 2022.  Problem solved.  Ridiculous.

Can anyone assist with how to see the whole grid in the updated 2023 Bridge please? Before updating, I could see the complete grid and easily scroll down through them which is very important with folders of large number of photosNow, I have one single line of photos and can't see how to change this.Looking forward to stepped advice.  Many thanks

continually "has a problem" and closes itself, in some cases causes me to lose work, eg, while manually sorting files in a folder--had to start all over.  Another time it froze while I was renaming files so I finally closed it; many files ended up with "...temporary..." in the middle of the file name. ADOBE -- PLS GET THIS FIXED.

color shifts when using preview in bridge, the photo looks same in photoshop and bridge thumbnail but looks desaturated in bridge preview this is horrible setback to workflow

I am using the Adobe Bridge 2023 for downloading/renaming/adding metadata pictures from the Camera Memory Card - by using the Get Photos from Camera feature - I have two issues : 1. The sorting by default is by Name in descending order - so the latest files first. I would like to sort these in Ascending order, since i rename the files by adding a number as a suffix. Currently, the latest files have the smaller number and the older files have the larger number. Is there a way to change the sorting order. 2. Second issue is that the Autoplay feature does not work anymore in the 2023 version. Thanks Ashit 

Don't know where to write adobe with suggestions so I'm hoping maybe someone in here might know or themselves be someone who can use suggestions going forward.  Suggestion:When exporting from RAW to JPG there's a handy tool to rename files to your hearts content, with prefix/suffix options like editing date or decimal counter and stuff like that. My suggestion is to add "shooting date" as an option, when available. RAW formats contain this information and I'd love to prefix all my outputs with the date on which the photos were taken. I'm unable to choose a file naming format like that on my camera (Canon EOS 7D MK1). Thanks in advance!Cheers

the new... multiple content panels does not work for multyple monitors becouse it dose NOT show all of the individul pannels. we need to have Full Bridge windows open in multiple monitors..... In my case I have some times up to 5 or 6 bridge windows including volumes on networks... ADOBE, Plese Fix this Mess!
