Has Adobe disabled the photomerge feature in Bridge?

The Custom naming option has the date without spaces--01012022 or similar.  This can be fixed by using the advance rename option to put the date separated by an underscore (_) so that you get the file_name_0001_10_01_2022. Unfortunately, when you have this set up and open a new card via card reader to download more images, the secondary field where you would put in the new name is not available for entry.  Previous versions of Photodownloader did not have this problem.  It is pretty clunky every time you have a batch of files to download you have to click on the advance rename to get to the screen where you can put in a new name.  

Hello Fam, I just tried everything ( restart settings, cmd+alt+ sup when open bridge etc... )  Nothing is working i tried different versions also but the desktop won't open. It never happened before i have no idea how to fix this issue. Anyone may help me plz ? Have a good day thanks in advance. G.

And if yes how do I activate it?All my previews are pixelated.

Hello, there is a problem opening Bridge and Photoshop both 2022, on this website, even though they are mentioned as installed. How can I update them to 2023? Do I have to uninstall them? But then, I would have to buy Bridge and Photoshop again, wouldn't I? Thank you for your help

Hallo, ich habe das gleiche Problem wie einige andere hier auch .... Fehlermeldung in der Bridge, sobald ich die RAW-Entwicklung anklicke heisst es: Camera Raw-Bearbeitung nicht aktiviert. Camera Raw-Bearbeitung nur möglich, wenn ein berechtigtes Produkt zuvor lizensiert wurde. Was bitte soll der Blödsinn plötzlich??? Mit aus der Creativ Cloud abmelden und wieder anmelden habe ich bereits versucht. Hift gar nix! Im Paket ist die Bridge mit dem RAW Entwickler inkludiert und somit bei mir auch sehrwohl lizensiert! Bei meinen installierten Applikationen wird Camera-RAW auch angezeigt, allerdings fehlt der Button "öffnen" daneben.  Das war aber auch bisher nicht wichtig, weil man die RAW-Entwicklung ja über die Bridge machte. Was ist hier los? Wie ist dieses Problem zu beheben? Eine schnelle Lösung muss her, denn die Bridge ist essentiell !!!Ich würde Camera-RAW ja gerne aktivieren, wenn diese Applikation in der Creativ Cloud angezeigt werden würde. The current version of photodownloader displays previously downloaded files from sd or CFExpress card readers.  This happens when ther are multiple locations on a card and the are desired to be downloaded one at a time.  Previous versions of Downloader did not show files that had been previously deleted. Please advise settings to change this or when there will be a fix. 

I have a bunch of PNG files that have lost their metadata: keywords, headline, document title, and description.All images were keyworded in Bridge on two days (6 October and 22 September). In the files info, there is one date for making and changing images (6 October). It is a date of keywording of most of them. But all of them I made earlier, and some were also keyworded earlier (22 September). I can check it by the upload date on AdobeStock, and sure I'm not crazy because I see keywords on AdobeStock. Other images from other dates have their keywords intact. And images from 22 September just located in another folder also have not disappeared. I don't believe restore of losted is possible.But how to avoid this situation? How to backup, maybe, or what? I use Time Machine and iCloud syncing. It did not help in this case.Is there any shortcut I may accidentally press to delete all keywords from a bunch of files?

Hopefully someone can help, as soon as I open bridge its crashes after a few seconds. I have reinstalled and also installed the Beta version but the same happens. I have also installed Photoshop but this has made no difference.I am on windows 11.I have no idea where to start - hopefully someone can give adviseThank You

When I open up Bridge Photo downloader dialog box the size of the text is tiny.  There does not appear to be an option to enlarge the whole box to make reading it easier. I have tried Edit / preferences / Interface / font but this has not made any difference. Your help would be very much appreciated,  thank you.

I'd like to tag my assets with custom strings, but navigating to Metadata > IPTC Core > Keywords field every time to add a new field or to delete the many existing fields of bought assets is a bit of a hassle.I can't see the "new keyword" menu that in mentioned in this tutorial:How to use keywords in Adobe BridgeIs there any simple tagging functionality that wouldn't force me to delete all keywords of the bought assets, and would make it easier to add my custom tags to the assets?I want to use tagging to skip creating folders.

I a DAM Specialist and want to start using bridge for my asset management. what does the free version offers (For example, bulk editing metadata of RAW and Edited Footage and stills? bulk renaming?)and what does the paid version offers in terms of Media Management?Thanks!

I recently switched from Mac to PC and did a fresh install of Photoshop and Bridge. I'm finding that Bridge is now slower than it was on my Mac even though the PC is a much more powerful computer. Photoshop itself works a good deal better now but not Bridge. I'm having to wait for it to generate thumbnails even on folders I've already opened and looked at in bridge and it's not quick to do so. Also, when I try to move images and folders around in bridge, it is also slow. Much slower than when moving folders in the Windows 10 file manager. It will also leave the file names of folders in place that have been deleted until I quit and reopen Bridge.I suspect all of this is just a settings thing. My computer is....i7 gen 8 processor64 GB ramAll solid state stroage8 GB graphics cardAlmost all horsepower can go to Bridge and Photoshop.Hope someone can recommend some settings that will fix this problem.Thanks!

Previously I made an MP4 video from a selected group of images.  I need to do it again but can't figure out how I did it.  Any help, please?

After todays update of photoshop to 23.5.1 the function "open in camera raw" of one or several files from bridge (context menu) is disabled - does not work any anymore with the message raw editing is not activated. According to forums this happened often in the past but the usual work arounds do not help (starting photoshop first and so on).Going back to 23.5.0 did not help. Reinstalling camera raw did not help ... So is there a solution?Opening raw files by "open" works (but with the nagging message "do you really want ...") - the message does not appear when opening several raw files with "open with camera raw" - so I prefer that. But this does not work any more ...

It's much easier to drag and drop items than to copy paste them, so dual pane mode (or even 3, 4, x, multi  pane mode) would be very useful for Adobe Bridge.Like Total Commander, Midnight Commander, FileZilla etc. has the feature.Couldn't find a way to open 2 different content panels for drag-and-dropping.

Is it possible to open two Bridge windows (or instances) or have two Content tabs open simultaneously? I often alternate between a couple projects or more and it would make life much easier if I didn't have to ... well, I suppose I could create tons of "favorites" but, honestly, then there would either be a ton of them and/or I'd have to change them so frequently and ... okay these are definitely First World Problems, but still ... 

I use bridge to catalog images, once I'm done I then edit most of my images via Camera raw, opening camera raw for raw files via bridge "COMMAND R" gives a completely different result than if I open camera raw as if I was going to open in Photoshop "COMMAND O".  I've attched two files below using both methods. the one using the "COMMAND O" option is much better but still not as good as my previous I7 processor on my 2016 MBP. Im currently on a 2021 M1 Max 16" I imagine its better becaue the version of bridge you have available is still for "intel" do you plan on making a version for the Silicon M1 Chip??? I really hope the answer is yes as Im going crazy not being able to use the feature. It was a huge time saver and it worked better on my old machine. 

Bridge Photo downloader has been crashing like what one could only expect to see in Windows 3.0 30 years ago! The instability of Photoshop with Mac is beyond imagination - and Adobe is just happy collecting subscriptions and seemingly doesn't care about the terrible state of their software. This problem is sooooo. annoying!!I bought a Macbook Pro M1 Max and Bridge is like a snail or doesn't work at all.I spent 2-3 hours on the phone with Adobe tech support 3 days ago, trying all the fixes and the conclusion was I had to do a deep uninstall of all Adobe products from my machine, resulting in me loosing all of my presets, catalogue’s, settings etc.Of course that was a no go.He said there is no record of this being an issue for other customers.Come on Adobe I see others in the community with the same issue, some from 6 months ago!Get it sorted PLEASE!!!

I've just installed Bridge on my new MB Pro, with M1 chipset, and Big Sur. After installation Bridge doesn't open. Error message: Write permission error. Do you have any idea how to fix this problem? Thank you.

Maybe this is already well understood, but it is new to me and I thought I would share. I was trying to cull through a series of similar photos in a folder. I decided to set all files with a Rating of 3 and then as I viewed each file individually I would rate the image up or down from 3 as I decided whether the image was better or worse. I wanted to then filter on only images greater than 3. What I noticed was that the filter for Rating disappeared from the Filter palette/panel. After some fiddling and comparing with an older version of Bridge, I discovered that if all files in the folder have the same Rating value then the filter disappears, but once I change at least one file to have a different Rating value from the rest, then the Rating filter appears once more. Starnge but true (for me).Peter

Hey there, I just started to just Bridge after years of being frustrated with Lightroom's speed (or lack thereof). I really like how preview and Camera Raw load images (almost) instantly and I am impressed by the fact that camera raw zooms to 100 % in no time. Trying that with Lr takes a couple of seconds to really load the image (on a good day). But there are quiet a few things I'm not so keen on. 1. Zooming in in Camera Raw "selects" the picture, so I cannot skip through them with the arrow keys anymore, unless I reselect the picture in the filmstrip or press ctrl+arrow. Not a biggie, but foces me to jump between mouse an keyboard with my right hand and slows things down.2. Zooming in the "full screen preview" in Br takes as long as in Lr. Why is Camera Raw so much quicker? Is there a way to review pictures and control sharpness at the same time? Review mode has the rather useful magnifying glass I know from C1, where I liked working with it, but only display
