Bridge

No solution to my post about the find function only able to find rejects and not any number of stars.  On the phone, the Indian tech found that his version had the same problem.  This is the latest version. Bridge was reset, losing all my preferences, but after resetting them, each time I open Bridge, they are reset againg.  This time, when I go to the tools menu, photoshop is gone again, along with the batch that I want to use again.  In this case, since I want to work on tiffs, I was able to go back to the last fairly reliable version, Cs6, and create a new batch and run it to compress the tiffs.  the only reason I went to CC was because it would not recognize my raw files from later cameras.  Otherwise it was better in every way, than the bloated CC Photoshop and Bridge that took 4 hours to open 41 raw files and make tifs that I then couldn't use the batch on. Also CS6 readily showed thumbs and played my videos from my camera, until recently w

Hello,I recently updated my MBP to Monterey, 12.2.1Then updated PS to 23.2.1, and Bridge to 12.0.1.246Camera Raw is the latest one, 14.2Settings in Raw files disappear when i open them next time, everything is at default. Bridge Thumbnails don't show the ikon of corrections in a file.If i try to save a corrected image, clicking Done, this message appears: I can't find anything recent on this issue so if someone has any idea how to get this fixed then that would be awesome. It's painful to go and do same things over and over again.Thank you in advance!

Bridge was working fine up until the morning when I updated my Mac OS System to Montery.  Now it is SLOW or doesn't respond to external dives BUT I can open my finder and open files in Photoshop instanly.  The only program I am having trouble with is Bridge. Any ideas would be welcome.  BTW the files I am having trouple with are tiff files and can be used easily anywhere else. Thanks

I recently got hold of a Balckmagic eGPU for my 2018 Mac Mini...  Works great with most of my aps, including Camera Raw and Photoshop, but I am having some trouble with Bridge...  The Blackmagic eGPU uses the AMD Radeon Pro 580, so nothing partiucularly esoteric or rare.  When I set up the app to "Prefer External GPU" in the prefs pane, as per the instructions from Apple as to how to use the eGPU, I get an error on laucnh of Bridge as follows: "Bridge has encountered a problem with the display diver, and has disabled GPU rendering which uses the graphics hardware. Please restart Bridge for an optimal experience. Check the manufactirer's weboste for the latest software"... The eGPU has all the available firmware updates applied.  My questions are: 1) Is Bridge supposed to be working with my eGPU..? 2) If "yes", then what might I be doing wrong to make sure I am getting the acceleration expected...? As I mention, I have checked

i'm in folders and i click on a folder and nothing happens. Is that how it is supposed to work?  How am I supposedto get to the contents of any folder?OS 12.1. Thanks,SteveZ

Thumbnails in Adobe Bridge distorted.  It's as if someone has grossly oversharpened them.  Jagged edges and distortions within the subject.  Anybody else? 

I have a large collection of images that are oriented in various rotations, normal (0°), CW (90°), CCW (-90°), and 180°.  I want to sort the images by rotation so that I can unrotate them as a batch without going through each image, right-clicking "File Info > Camera Data", reading the Orientation value, and manually unrotating the image.  The desired end result is for all the images to be unrotated to the same orientation.  I've tried using "Find" in "metadata" but without success (searches for CW, CCW, 90°, 180°, etc., all produce null results).  Can anyone advise how to sort the images by rotation (not just landscape vs portrait, which is an easy filter to apply) so I can unrotate them as a batch?

Since upgrading to the Apple 24 inch iMac with the M1 Chip I am having a great deal of difficulty opening Bridge2022. I have downloaded Rosetta 2 but the problems persist.

I had just taken wedding pictures with a DSLR Canon EOS Rebel T6 with a SanDisk 128GB 95MB/s Extreme Pro SD card and brought them all up in Adobe Bridge 2022. It worked just fine the first time I made some imports but then I wanted to go back and import some more from it. Before that second attempt I had done the "Purge All Local Cash Files" and "Purge 100% Previews in Cache" from Preferences due to C drive space being too full for a function in a different program.Then when I tried to access my SD card in Adobe Bridge, I waited for it to finish builing the new previews and then the SD card suddenly became unreadable and needing formatting. My camera says the same thing about it.How did this happen? Also, are my pictures really gone now? 

Hi, for a time I was using Bridge 2020 to work on some landscape photograph, I take a lot of photos in potrait that I later stich together to make large panoramas. These are always displayed oriented in the fasion they were taken from the camera, potrait aka sideways or vertically. In Bridge 2022, these same thumbnails and photos do not display vertically or as portraits, making it a headache to go through vertical photos for review. Is there a setting to fix this or some import error Bridge is not correctly doing unlike in 2020?

It seems that the Bridge plays mono audio files only in the left channel. Is there a setting to make it play in both the left and the right channels?  

All PSD files thumbnails are appearing very pixelated in Bridge even after adjusting settings to following: 1. Preview Size: Monitor size 2. Preview Quality: High 3. Preview Generation: Always   I tried purging cache as well.    Sagethumbs used to view thumnails perfectly sharp in Windows explorer, but my PC has been crashing recently so I am trying to avoid as much 3rd party apps as I can after I reset my PC yesterday.   Making above adjustments does not seem to make any difference on the thumnail quality at all.  Does any one know how to make thumbnails sharp & not pixelated?  

New to Adobe Bridge and lookig for an option of searching my photo library (jpg and raw files) on the NAS and auto orginize them by date taken in to their respective folders. If not possible what aother software can do this.

I cannot get the my GoPro MP4s to show a thumbnail. They are only displaying an icon. I've tried the many fixes available on the forum with no luck (e.g. Use software rendering, clearing cash, restarting Bridge). I've use Bridge to sort gopro footage for about a year with no problems. The older folders that I have sorted still have thumbnails, but this new lot of videos is all icons no matter what I do.   Please help. So if i select a parent folder, then 'show items in subfolders' it works, but if i click the parent folder again, it auto resets to 'show items in subfolders' off? Why cant i have that setting on permanently? Any help is much appreciated.

Si j'ouvre par exemple dans Editions, "préférences", je ne peux modifier les détails des vignettes, ou dans "changement de nom global" aucun choix n'est possible... J'ai désinstallé et réinstallé Bridge (dernière version mise à jour) , supprimé les préférences enregistrées, vérifié les virus et registres, rien n'y fait !Merci si vous avez une idée pour résoudre ce problème.

I have a problem with bridge not showing some of the .mov imported from my iphone x, In the same folder, it shows some thumbnails for some files and for the other it show only the icons without also preview option.I tried all solution offerd in forums but it didn't help: like the purge cache, preferences: check software render, prferences: playback - uncheck the video for loop and auto view. 

I cannot remove this lock icon from these folders. I am using Windows 10 PC. Thi smakes it difficult for me to label my images. Please help.

I have an old Mac (OS 10.11.6), current versions require a minimum OS of 10.15.X.  Is there a legacy version that can be loaded onto this older comp

This may seem silly, but the most recent update seems to have gotten rid of a very simple thing. When selecting multiple files in Bridge, it no longer tells you in the lower left, below the thumbnail pane, how many files you have selected. It still says how many files are in the folder, but used to say, for example, "16 selected of 60 items" or something like that.Any ideas on how to see this again?My second thought was starting to drag them, as in Finder on the Mac, but no number when you do that either.Thanks!Brooks.

I'm using a fully updated Windows 11 Lenovo laptop and Creative Suite. I've also set up my own custom Workspace in Bridge 2022, as I usually do, and have saved it as "Scott Workspace." It's nothing fancy and it looks like this:  When I minimize Bridge, however, the workspace is reset at random. The latest version looks like this:  It doesn't always look like this. Sometimes it fully shrinks both left and right sides. Sometimes it is just the right side. But always, the center Preview panel is massively enlarged. When I click "Scott Workspace" at the top to reset it, nothing happens. If I close Bridge and then reopen it, the wonky version remains. If I delete the custom workspace and then recreate it, the same problem returns the next time I minimize. Anyone know what's going on? I've never seen this bug before. Is this common, or somehow just my system?  Thanks!

Hi, I have a user reporting an issue with Adobe Bridge's latest updates. They use color tagging on Finder, and have been reliably able to carry the color tags over on local fileserver connections on older versions of Bridge, but now can't. She downgraded after noticing the problem only for the problem to continue regardless.

Hello, I need to have a shared over network Bridge cache often 'fresh' and updated.What is the path I should follow?Just export the cache for the folders once in a while, maybe regularly?Or purge the cache first, then re-export it completely, regularly as well?Thanks!
