Hello everyone. I recently made a much needed update to my computer and adobe software. I recently purchased a new imac running the latest version of catalina and purchased the photography package from adobe. When I open bridge and try to preview Raw files (CR2), I can preview the image. The files open just fine in photoshop so I'm not understanding why I can't preview the thumbnails in bridge. I'm at a loss as to why I'm having this issue and have no clue where to start troubleshooting. Any words of wisdom would be very helpfull.
Hicurrently the files are being managed by Bridge, mostly jpeg files. All of them have a basic edit, done with Adobe Camera RAW (ACR), some even more.I want to migrate these files into Lighroom Classic, including the edit information, so that ideally the files are being shown the same as in Bridge, without loosing the edits.Same would also apply to metadata, e.g. names, places, or rating.I thought all edit data is being stored with or in the file, so that Bridge or LrC can read but does not touch the original file? Thanks for your help in advance 🙂
I'm using Windows 10 to access Bridge 2022. The program is updated but keeps "crashing" on attempts to open images in one specific folder. Also, I've cleared "cookies" to no avail. Is there a solution to rectify this problem? Thanks in advance for a reply.
For the last few days Adobe Bridge crashes, doesnt even open at all. I unistalled & installed over & over but same issue. Anyone having the same issue or can someone help me?? Im on a Mac as well
Suddenly Bridge has stopped showing Google Drive (virtual drive) in the Folders panel. I can see its alias under Users (in the Content panel), but it's not clickable. It doesn't work in the Favourite panel either. Everything was working fine until two days ago, though. Systems:MacBook Pro 15-inch, 2019MacOS Catalina 10.15.7Adobe Bridge v 11.1.1.185Tried Adobe Bridge v 12 but it didn't work either Google Drive:They're all stream files, not mirror files (= all files are in the cloud, and nothing is on my Mac). Mac:Security & Privacy > Full Disc Access > Adobe Bridge "ticked"Security & Privacy > Files and Folders > Adobe Bridge "Full Disc Access" Bridge (Folders panel on the left): It used to show Google Drive on top of everything, just like an external HD or a business server. I might have updated it to 11.1.1.185 two days ago when I updated other apps, i.e. Illustrator, Photoshop, etc., without thinking, but I'm not 100% sure.
Hi,I am using Bridge to add keywords to a large collection of photos and videos, and I need the keywords to show up as tags on Windows File Explorer. This worked fine for all the jpgs. The keywords are automatically being carried over as tags on explorer. However, for my mp4 files, the tag section is empty when I check from explorer. Inside Bridge I can still see the keywords checked, they are just not being transferred as tags on explorer.I have tried going into file-info on Bridge, copied all the keywords, then on explorer I went to the file's properties, and pasted them in the tags area. It works. But this way I have to work with one file at a time, and each file takes 15-20 seconds (in my case). Is there a way to easily make Windows File Explorer read Bridge's keywords as tags for mp4 files? If it works automatically for jpgs, what am I missing here?
Bridge not showing all PDF previews, someone please help?below is the screen for your easy reference:
Sorry for this really basic question but I cant seem to find an answer (and I promise I have looked).Ive got a script for bridge from ps-scripts.com that takes the file name and inputs it into the headline metadata, or any other stated part of the metadata (so I can use live captions in Indesign without seeing the file extension). However, I have not got a clue how to run this script from bridge. Everything I have seen says its a bridge script not a photoshop script, or are they run the same way?For reference to the script http://www.ps-scripts.com/bb/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=2406&sid=abb69282c947bc40ec10%2081d5c7b9a6fc#p10283.Cheers.Bridge CS5 (4.1.0.54). can anyone tell me why bridge keeps importing multiple copies of the same file?sometimes as many as 4 or more of the same image all with the same number.today i shot 35 images it wanted to import 140 images so i had to manually select 1 of each if i import to lightroom it will import the correct number but not with bridge.thanks for any help.
Hello Swarm! I just installed Bridge and found that I cannot preview videos in a library. Preview of local files works fine. Am I missing something?
Hi Folks!Seems to be a recurrent topic here, but I just cannot make it work. I want to work on a batch of files in camera raw, opening them using bridge 'Open in Camera Raw' icon or right click and select 'Open in Camera Raw'. I get a dialog box saying:"Camera Raw editing is not enabledCamera Raw editing requires that a qualifying product has been launched at least once to enable this feature"I already tried deinstalling both Photoshop and Bridge (more than once), as well as opening photoshop before opening bridge. I already checked these two threads here: Bridge CC 2017 (PC) unable to open camera raw with button or right click menu and Camera Raw editing is not enabled , however nothing seems to work.I am using a windows computer, and I am running the latest versionsof both photoshop and bridge. Any help is highly appreciated! Thanks for helping,Daniel
Im using Adobe Bridge 12.0.2 ti create JPGs using the photoshop image processer on a mabcook pro M1 with Montery v12.5 and starting about a week creating JPGs has becomg unbarelingly slow. I've tried purging Bridges cache and multiple reboots. Any other suggestions? I cannot use the native export bc it creates JPEG and not JPG (which is an issue for my clients).
Hi, this problem has popped up several times in the past, the common fix was to open photoshop, open bridge, close bridge and open it again, then it should work. however this does not work for me. if i double click on on image or go to open via photoshop it opens up camera raw and i can continue. the command cmd+r doesen´t work, i also can´t only open one ore more images in acr without the intend to open it in photoshop aftwerwards...any ideas?(i do really need this to work as i´m used to as i have jobs to finish today!)thanks!david
Each time I open bridge, it closes again in less than 5 seconds. This is just recently, never had this problem before
There is photos to which i can't add keywords to it;- it seem (for now) that it only concern picture taken by a drone (typhoon h with cg03 camera) in jpg- strange thing is that not every photo is concerned but for those who are ; bridge does not reconize the camera used nor the lens in fact it look like most of metadata are not present-i already tested to purge the cache of the whole folder, of the selected pictures (trying this after a reboot, after an update of bridge).- i can add keyword when using exifpilot (and it work with bridge once modified by exif pilot) i use currently use :win 10 pro (updated)bridge cc 2022 12.0.3 does anyone have found a solution to this ? it seem that i'm not the only one but until now i did not find any adequate response tell me if you want more info !and i can send some picture if needed !
hi, im using bridge for the first time now. and i cant add metadata like Copyright or anything else to my bridge photos. my pictures are saved on an external hard disk. every time i want to add metadata, it shows me that it isnt possible. so how can i add metadata?
In previous versions of Bridge dragging the folder icon to another drive resulted in copying it. In beta version 13.0.0.474 instead of being copied the folder is moved. When realizing this, while using this function for the first time after installation, and not wanting my files to be moved instead of copied to the backup drive, I cancelled the action. When it stopped I realized with horror that I have a folder on both drives, but both empty, with no files in any of them. After I recovered from the shock and I started the search I found them in Trash and, fortunately I was able to recover them all. However, what would happen if I wouldn't be attentive, if I'd be "copying", but in reality moving a large number of folders, or just one single folder, with the size of all files far exceeding the capacity of the Trash? They'd be lost forever. Therefore I ask Bridge developers to check how this function behaves, and to return the copying function when dragging folders & files t
RE Adobe Bridge Beta FeedbackI can't find a coordinated way of leaving feedback even though there is an icon in Bridge Beta which seems to be for this very purpose:Clicking on this icon takes me to Bridge>Discussions>What's New in the Bridge Beta which is a locked thread. Is anybody more wise than me?
Hello, I am trying to use Adobe Bridge and it is „not responding”. I can not do anything do make it work, I open it and after 4-5 seconds of freeze becomes „unresponsive”. I tried everything I could find on the internet, but nothing worked.I tried with CS6, 2019 and 2022 Bridge. Nothing worked. Is there any kind of solution? Thank you!
I use Bridge as the file manager for all my thousands of photos and finding folders by name is not a problem. But I recently realised that there is an option to add tags to every photo when saving it in Photoshop. So I have trialled this with the contents of a few recent folders, assuming that then there would be some kind of search engine in Bridge which would allow me to find the relevant photos of e.g. my stepson regardless of what folder he might be in by looking for his name. But I can find no such way of searching and thus I am wondering what is the point of the tags option when saving a photo? Am I missing something or is the only way to set up searching at this granular level to use the Keywords Panel in Bridge? It doesn't make sense to me for Photoshop seemingly to offer something that has no user value.
Until yesterday I used Camera raw normally. Today I have an error (until opening files in Adobe Bridge) as attached. It says: "The function of editing files in camer raw format is not allowed.Editing with the Adobe Camera Raw is possible only if you have a licence to use it".Photoshop and Bridge are working just fine.I have reinstalled Photoshop. All of the Adobe programs are listed as uptodate. What else can I do to use Camera Raw normally (I want to open files from Adobe Bridge with the right mouse click and option: Open in Camera Raw). Please give me an advice, regardsD.
