After editing in Bridge, how do I get Bridge to overwrite original files and save changes?

Cannot import images into Bridge using Photo Downloader. I have contacted help centre and spoken to 6 people in the customer service help centre. Who have promised to get an agent to help me resolve this issue. I have wasted hours on this waiting for a phone call and was informed they would get back to me EVENTUALLY. 

I just installed the latest Bridge on a brand new boot drive (Windows 10 pro) and after opening it twice, it crashed both times so I guess not much has changed. No preferences to delete or cache to clear, it was a fresh install.   On my last computer I used an older version that had no problems. I think it was the last one with the brown icon, once they updated it after that I had nothing but problems. What was that version?   [moderator deleted duplicate text]   Also, WTF Adobe?

The Bridge icon on my dock has a "?" and won't open.  How do I solve this problem?

HI, I am getting a write permission error message when I try to open Bridge on my Mac.  I know bridge works as another user account on the same Mac will open Bridghe.Are the logs that I can access which will tell me more about where the wrire permission error occurred? Any other suggestions welcome.Mac Mini M1 running Mac OS Mojave. I have an Adobe plan so will be running the latest version of Bridge.TIA

Hi there,I am hoping that someone can please help me remove part of a filename using string substitutions. I have hundreds of files that all have a unique number and unique description. The numbers are all 6 digits that have 2 consistent letters in front and have a "-" after. I wish to remove everything after the "-" so I am just left with 8 characters (the 2 letters followed by the 6 numbers). For example -I would like to turn:JS000045-Image-VeryFrustrating.jpgJS003556-Image-TightDeadline.jpgJS000234-Image-PleaseHelp.jpgInto:JS000045.jpgJS003556.jpgJS000234.jpgThanks in advance!

Hi, how are you today? I have issues with lost keywords in Adobe Bridge 2022 and I was wondering if there is an updated Utility Script Pack thay would be helpfull with this? Thank you very much!I found the .xls file in Appdata and changed it to .txt and replaced it, but that was not the solution unfortunately. Thank you!

I cannot get the mp4 videos I downloaded from my google Pixel 6 pro phone to show or play in bridge. I can click on the file in my regular file folder and the video plays fine. But when trying to play in Bridge I get an error "2041 an invalid sample description was found in the movie (PXL_20220607_193537326.TS,mp4)". I tried changing the name of the file with an mp4 extension and this did not help.It does play in my cyberlink power director movie program. It does not seem to be recognized in my Photodex slide show producer program. My intent is to make a slide show, which will include movie clips, of a trip I just came back from. 

Esp with the heirachy feature they provide.

I found an old installation of Adobe Bridge 2021 in Windows Settings -> Apps ->  Apps and Features. I want to deinstall that but it open Creative Cloud Desktop, works there and it's not deinstalled after that. In Creative Cloud Desktop Bridge is not installed.  How can I deinstall that because it use 1.04GB of my C: device?

My Workspace keeps resetting to the default. I created and saved a custom workspace and whenever I switch back to Bridge the Workspace has reset itself. I select Reset Workspace and it's OK. Minimize or switch to another program then come back to Bridge and it's reset again. It just won't stay keep the selected workspace.

Eight photos in a folder with others give this message when I try to copy them to the desktop to send or for printing in the future (Bridge: "the item is no longer available" and is not in the trash). From our induction to the ND Cowboy Hall Of Fame, so really would like to have them. All photos before and after are accessible.When I trash photos, they no longer are in a folder. But these are still in the folder.  But...."no longer available".  I rename all my photos, so this can't be a problem.

In the older version of ACR I could hit the Right Arrow key and go to the next image. I used to crop all my images in the same session as it was very efficient that way. Simply crop, hit Right, crop, hit Right and so on and so forth and it would be a quick process to recompose the shots very quickly. In the new version hitting the arrow keys only moves the image around, and I've pretty much tried everything but there is no way to move to the next image with a single key stroke. Is there any way we can revert to using the arrow keys for that? Thank you!

I have Bridge on an iMac (OS Mojave) and a MacBookAir (Intel; OS Big Sur). Photo Downloader has ceased to work at all on the Air/BigSur. Sometimes it crashes after simply clicking on Get Photos from Camera; sometimes, I can select images but it then crashes. This has been going on for weeks: I have to import images more simply, which means I then have to append metadata by manual command via Bridge, which is time-consuming. I know there have been other problems with Downloader, and for £9 per month I think we need better service than this, if only an apology. Every now and again, Adobe ask us what feature we would like to see incorporated in Bridge. How about a Photo Downloader that works. I have attached the Report, and I would be most grateful for any help. Many thanks!  

I cannot se my photos when I open Bridge. However, when I click on them they open in photoshop. How can I correct this. I did not have this issue until this week

The Photo Downloader in Bridge 2022 is the worst thing i have seen from Adobe so far.It is basically not useable because it crashes at least 15 times before i can even think of importing my files. Also it doesn't sort out the Files from the folders so i can start searching for my pictures and hopefully i don't miss one.Please Adobe this issue costs me at least half an hour of my day so please fix the bugs and make it useable

I recently finally upgrade to Adobe Creative Suite from Photoshop CS4 (I know- I held out! haha).  It used to be that when I rearranged photos in Lightroom, I could make them appear in that order in Adobe Bridge (for renaming stage of workflow) by setting photo order to "Date Modified." That doesn't work now that I've switched to Creative Suite and I'm wondering if anyone knows how to make this happen in a different way? I'm often working with 500-800 photos so to go reorder them again after suuuuucks. I usually changed the order of certrain shots as I edit the photos so it definitely works best for me to do that in Lightroom. Thanks for your help! 

I've written a few ExtendScript scripts to perform applying camera raw presets to multiple files. These scripts are called by a python app.Last week everything was working perfectly. Then my hard drive crashed.  Now I've got up and running again the scripts no not run when called by python. Instead they open in the toolkit editor. How can I make them execute with a line like:C:\myscript.jsx.I know I can do something like "C:\path_to_bridge\bridge.exe" -r "C:\path_to_my_script\myscript.jsx" but this doesn't solve my problem. Thanks

 어도비 브릿지에서 사진을 카메라 로우 활용해 보정하는 사람인데요.갑자기 브릿지에서 카메라 로우 버튼이 비활성화되고, 아예 메뉴에서도 사라졌네요.클라우드에서 Camera raw가 활성화되어 있고 포토샵에선 열리는데 브릿지에선 아예 먹통입니다. 어떻게 해야 카메라 로우를 브릿지에서 활성화할 수 있을까요?   

I open up bridge to go through my images and cut down ones I don't like but as soon as I open it up, the colours are really nice on the images and then within a few seconds, one by one, the colours and brightness seems to change and the images aren't so nice. This means I'm having to edit my photos much more than I should as the first colours and brightness are perfect. Could anyone please let me know what's going on?

There are a number of us on a server and with the latest upgrade to Photoshop/Bridge, our color settings will not stay synchronized. We are having to go in practically every day to re-apply the correct setting. This is a new issue, one we haven't experienced before. Any ideas? Heading out so will not see the responses until the morning. Thanks all in advance.

I am trying to use the "Show Linked Files" feature in Bridge. There are two files I am trying to work with. 1 shows the links icon and gives me the option to "Show Linked Files". The other, has no icon, and no option to "Show Linked Files." I know there are links in the file..HELP!

Sorry if this is the wrong forum! I understand collections can be synced between Lightroom Classic and CC, yet unsure between Classic & Bridge. Do keywords made in Bridge, show up in Lightroom Classic or CC? Can't seem to see where keywords can be seen in CC too. What ai mainly want is the ability to share keywords and collectins between Lightroom Classic & Bridge  🙂

I love Adobe Bridge 2022 workflow! But, ... Why can't you convert to .PSD? I can do PNG, JPG, etc., but not PSD! The aging Image Processor could make .PSD! Why can't the Workflow workspace in Bridge 2022?
