Ever since the last 3 updates, whenever i plug a card in to upload, i get pictures literally scattered all over. It uploads three separate copies into three folders; so for instance my date format is yyyy-mm-dd, which Bridge creates for each date of images on the card, but now it's adding a DCIM, NIKON & D850 folder with that directory, & adding two more copies of all the images, with one random folder being empty ... & it's never the same folder!Bridge also randomly scatters copies of images into other date directories, again entirely at random.I have no enamel left on my teeth ...

I’m using Bridge 12.0.1.246 and upgraded my Mac to OS 12.1.  When downloading from an SD card I do not delete files until the card is near full for back-up.  Until the OS upgrade thumbnails in the download dialogue box showed most recent images first.  It now shows them last and I have to wait until all thumbnails are downloaded before selecting the latest images.  This can take some time on a large capacity SD card.  Is there any way to reverse the order the thumbnails are downloaded?

I have the most recent version of Bridge CC (9.0.1.216 x64).  Strangely, I opened a folder full of MP4 and MOV videos, but none of them will play in the preview window.  I only get the Loupe on the preview still image of the video.  This has never happened to me before.  I keep looking for some setting that will take me out of Loupe view, but have not found it yet.  I''ve been using Bridge for about 3 years.

Dragging macbook, from Finder, files into Bridge not working, files not showing. But appear to be still there as trying to drag again says replace? Unless dragging from a Finder Folder, to the same Bridge Folder "in Finder" when it drags OK and shows in Bridge. Also, even more so now, when closing Bridge and opening again to see it the image appear through that, Bridge is reopening from the top of the folder lists rather than the last used folder, having to go through the whole scrolling down process every time. Cannot belief this can be just my macbook???

I will run down the workflow I need to use first to make the issue clear.1) I open the folder of Raw files in Bridge and add the metadata (copyright description etc) that will be read by the site when they're uploaded. 2) All the images in Bridge get a star rating (1=mistake, 2=maybe, 3=To be processed)3) Open Lightroom and import all the 3 star images to be processed.4) Once all the 3 star images are processed in LR, they are edited further, and all those going on the website get a 4 star rating.My problem is that the images upgraded to 4 stars in LR, are still showing in Bridge as having 3 stars. I want to change the star ratings in Bridge to reflect the updates in LR. That way if one of the designers opens the folder in Bridge to browse for certain files, they will know which ones made the edit and got processed fully in LR and maybe edited further in PS. I tried to manually change the necessary images in Bridge to 4 stars, but that created those 4 star images in LR to gain an excla

I edited around 300 photo's in Bridge and saved each one. I then highlighted around 50 and put them in a folder. When I went back to repeat highlighting and moving  the rest into the same folder, I couldn't find them, and still cant! Any suggestions please? Hello everyone and happy new year to anyone.I have a problem with bridge last version, is unable to export images...version 12.0.0.234 on Big Sur.It just fails whenever photos are opened before in camera raw and they got any adjustment...any idea?Thanks!!!

How do I stop Photoshop launching from Bridge when I single click a thumbnail?

After updating to Bridge 12.0, the XMP files are flashing when I move to a directory containing RAW files. The flashing eventually stops, but the XMP files are continue to be shown. "Show Hidden Files" is not selected, and selecting and unselecting, makes not difference. It must be a preference setting, but I can't find it.

When I first installed Bridge, I made a mistake and blocked access to some folders on my computer. Is there any way to reset it?Thanks!

I posted this in November 2021 and did not get any helpful suggestions.This just started happening. All CC programs up to date. In addition to my images, these camera files are showing up on the download page. See the attached screenshot. Unless I uncheck them, they are downloaded into Bridge. How can this be changed to simply download the images?Dean 

Br very slow when loading photos from external hard drives and Dropbox.  It is painful to run with multiple windows open looking at various sources.  Is there a setting to help fix this?

Would live to find the release notes for 12.01.246 to see if they have corrected the downloader fault handling files in the reverse order? Having to use an old version and would rather not reinstall it just to find out.

I have added keywords to photos over the last couple of years.  Now I am wanting to edit a keyword.  As per other suggestions to similar questions in this Community, I tried using the "Find" utility, which was fine to identify all the photos across 130 albums with that keyword, but it was clumsy to change the Keyword because for some reason not all photos would allow the old keyword to be removed at all let alone add the new one, which meant I ended up manually going through all the changed photos to find the ones that hadn't changed. When I changed the next keyword I decided it would only be marginally longer to work album by album manually bulk select the old keyword then change it to the new keyword.  However, I'm STILL getting photos that will not let me make ANY changes to ANY keywords. I have learned that if I shorten the file description (some of them do run long to cover names, locations etc, (but that was how long it was when I added the keywords

Batch rename only offers Original case, Uppercase or Lowercase options. I believe that it is long overdue to have either Sentence Case and or more intelligent Title Case/Proper Case. I'm looking at using my copy of Bridge CS6 to ingest and rename images. This feature seems to sequence images from my SD card by ascending shot-time within descending shot-date, placing the newer images before the older ones. As a result, when using  an incrementing sequence number with a custom name, the newer images are renanmed first, in acsending shot-time sequence, then images with an earlier shot-date are renamed, again in ascending shot-time sequence. This results in renamed files with sequence numbers which are confusing. How can I change the renaming sequence so that sequence numbers are consecutively assigned by acsending shot time within ascending shot-date?

I am using CS6 13.0.1, x64, with Bridge 5.0.2.4 x64 on a Win 10 PC. I use CS6 and Bridge comfortably; however, when i attempt to scan folders with minibridge, all it does is open a new panel overlaid on CS6 - and nothing else. I assume there should be some way to work through its interface to open folders, etc - but nada, nothing, nil, zilch.any suggestions welcome. thanks in advance

I used to Right-click images in Bridge and be given several options under the "Open With".  Nowadays I get only one and don't seem to be able to add any more.  If I change the default option under Preferences/File Type Associations the "Open With" changes, but only that option is made available.  I'm running it on Windows 10, and I no longer have Photoshop installed, as I use Gimp2, for financial reasons.  Any ideas, as I often wish to choose quickly which program to view an image in.

Hey, I'm currently writing a CEP extension for Adobe Bridge CC 2022. I ported it over from Premiere since it turned out the feature set I need, was a better fit for Bridge.Now I've hit a roadblock. I can't load my host scripts via the scipts provided in the Premiere sample panel. When I call csInterface.evalScript()  in my panel for the first time, I get following error:INFO Adding of include search path for JS scripts is not supported by this host applicationGoogling this yields no results. The folder structure of my project currently looks like this:I have a working connection to the KBRG Host, and I could confirm that KBRG_TimecodeCorrection.jsx wasn't loaded. Do i use the wrong folder paths or does this approach just not work in Bridge? Any help would be greatly appriciated.

In Windows 10, when I have a group stack in Bridge, sometimes when I (left) click the thumbnail, nothing happens. It isn't selected. The thumbnail doesn't show a blue box around it. This happens with some stacks and not others. If I want to move that first file in the stack to another place in the stack, I cannot select it by left-clicking. Instead, I need to move another image in front of it and then select it and move it. But then the new first image becomes stuck "stuck." If I want to open a file, double-left clicking the thumbnail to open the image doesn't work. However, I can right-click and choose OPEN from the dropdown box.The stack can be "fixed" if I ungroup the stack and then group again, but that's time consuming because I have to rearrange images around in the stack because it's not always ordered alphabetically.

I have Bridge 2022 and PS 2022, with annual subscription. Bridge 2022 opens files in PS 2021 as default.  The file associations in Bridge 2022 are all for PS 2021,  What happened with the automatic update?  Have cganhed file associations in the past, but cannot seem to make it work now..

Hello guys I have 2 questions about adobe bridge. The first one is there is a way to make smart collection with 2 distinct folders?I opened the .collection file and  in the <collection> there is the "target" variable.I tried to merge some paths or using two <collection> to try to get images from both folders, but it was in vain. So I tried searching about this <collection> class to see if I could find some other variables inside this, but didn't find anything abou it. This goes to my second question, there is any Bridge documentation? I found Photoshop, Illustrator and other adobe programs documentation but not about Bridge. There is a way to work with a collection with multiple files? There is a way to script some 3th party application for this, and if it is possible where can I find the documentation?

Hey there,maybe i'm too blind to see it. I need something like this pseudo snippetselect(fileName)but did not find anything like that in the SDK docs. Background is that i`m running single image files through scripts and when the resulting image returns i want to do further scripting on it, but the original file is still selected.
