Bridge

I've raised this issue before and didn't find a solution; hope maybe somene has an answer now.  In Bridge 10.1.1.166, using Windows 10 64 bit, I can start keywording multiple files, but soon, some files won't accept keywords.  They almost always do accept them on a second try.  The problem is not related to file size or type.  I previously purged the cache, reset preferences, and the problem continued.  It's a big time waster.  The problem is not limited to one computer; it happens on two different computers, one that is new with a fresh installation of Bridge.

Hi,Adobe Bridge's Preview Window doesn't show all pages of a .indd file in its preview? While I have and open a .indd file with at least twenty pages, the Preview Window just shows two first pages and the below counter in the thumbnail image just show 1/1 and 1/2 ?! why it happened and how to fix this? In this way, I can't browse all pages in the preview view to see other pages. Both InDesign and Bridge are up to date to the last versions. This issue isn't just with a specific a .indd and I see this problem with many .indd files. So to see the all page in a file of InDesign, I have to open it in InDesign, not in Bridge. Thank you in advanceMasoud

Hey everyone, Today I was rating some of my pictures again and now, as I wanted to keep working with them, the rating, which was there was still that of before I changed it this morning. Does anyone have a tip on how I can restore the ratings? I worked on that for several hours and it is really disappointing if I have to double-work for this. Thank you for your help 🙂

Mac 10.15.6 CatalinaIn Bridge 2020 Batch Rename shows my New filename correctly. But in all the windows in Bridge the filename that results from Batch Rename is wrong. --from 33153 Fl-V-00031.CR2 changed to 33153 Fl-V-^SEQN^.CR2. This also happened in High Sierra.I called Adobe about this almost a year ago and was told that it was an Adobe bug and would be fixed. So fortunately I kept Bridge 2019 and have had to use it since last winter. Why is this not yet fixed?

I’ve been running Bridge/Photoshop on my pc for years with no problems, but with the last 2020 version is becoming almost unusable. It takes SOOO long to generate thumbnails on a folder. I tried to uninstall and reinstall, purged all cache files, but it didn’t get any better... DesktopWindows 10 pro – 2004RAM 16 GBProcessor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2600 CPU @ 3.40GHz 3.40 GHzSSD drive – 245 GB free429 GB and 981 GB left on each of the two hardrives where I keep all images Can any one help?Thanks. 

I'm having an issue trying to use Bridge to preview stock VFX elements. These are often supplied as RGBA Quicktime movie files. Bridge is able to see the files, and play them in the preview window. The problem is that the image is displayed "straight" or unpremultiplied. I do not believe this to be an issue with the files, or with video codecs on the computer as VLC and Quicktime can both play them back fine. Is there an option in bridge that would let me correct this, or to manually set the premultiplication of RGBA video files.

Hi there,I am trying to convert my photos to DNG, TIFF, and PNG using the Export panel in Adobe Bridge 2020. Unfortunately, the image format option is grayed out "please see the screenshot below", and it only allows me to convert the photos to JPEG format. how can I fix this? 

Adobe Bridge 10.1.1.166RAW moves to another folder without its XMP.XMP stays in the folder alone!

I have 2020 Adobe suite and I cannot get any labels or star rating to work in Bridge. I have started at a new job in a studio and need this function when sorting through thousands of images on a brand new Mac daily.Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I use this quite a lot but in the last few days when i select a photo and right click or use the menu and select 'duplicate' nothing is happening.  is anyone else having any issues. 

"Adobe Bridge" doesn't show me some previews of the psd files. What should I do to be able to see them all?

First time using adobe software, NEED HELP! This is my work flow. I plug in my external hard drive and my memory card reader to my MAC. I copy my images from my memory card reader to my external hard drive. Then I open Adobe Bridge and begin to cull through my images. I have about 90 images i copy from Bridge to my external hard drive to then upload them in light room to edit . But i alwyas have a handful of XMP files along with the images i moved from bridge ? why is this happening! I am not tech savvy at all! PLEASE AND THANKYOU!

  The first image is my professor's screen. the second is my screen. I'm trying to follow along with the video from my professor but I don't have a photoshop option under tools in bridge on my screen. I already checked and bridge is up to date. don't know what to do.

Once AGAIN with an update upon trying to use Bridge one finds what you previously expected to be in front of you toasted by the update.How do I get my previous working environment/view back?! This has been a previous problem people have griped about and here we are YEARS later without any solution from Adobe.BDM

Is there a way to make bridge use embedded jpgs previews of raw files the way old iview media pro did for fast selection?I've recently migrate to bridge beacuse the lack of mac os support for 32bit apps and my workflow had stepped back to intel pentium speeds. I can't belive how a 20 year old app is absolutely faster for viewing actual raw files, now I can only see 1 picture of 5 being the other 4 a pixeled mess if i try to browse at the speed I did with iview...

The Adobe Bridge  - Photo Downloader shows <None Detected> with a new Sandisk Extereme Pro CFexpress card reader attached. I can see the iamegs (Raw files) in bridge but the downloader does not see the device.

In the main Bridge interface there are filtering options to filter by rating (1 or more stars, 2 or more stars, etc) and Show Labeled Items Only, Show Unlabeled Items Only, etc.   The ratings have key commands.  Is there a way to assign a key command to Show Labeled Items Only?  Or a way to script a call to that filter via AppleScript or ExtendScript?I have a script that opens a folder of images into Bridge but I would like to take that one step further and filter by Show Labeled Items Only.  Any ideas?set bscString to {text returned} of (display dialog "Enter BSC" default answer "") as textset characterCount to length of bscString            set alpha to text 1 of bscString            set brandCode to text 1 thru 5 of bscString            set brandStyleCode to text 1 thru 10 of bscString &nbsp

I just started using Bridge in Windows 10 and it's FANTASTIC, however, every time I hover my cursor over any sort of control, a little bubble pops up telling me what that control does. Normally, this wouldn't bother me as it would usually not appear for a few seconds, but in Bridge, the popup tool tips appear instantly for me. Even opening preferences and putting my cursor on any of the preference tabs just display a popup with the name of the tab. I can read the tab, why do I need another popup telling me what I'm already looking at? I'm running Bridge version 10.1.  I've already contacted adobe support, but they weren't very helpful. They just said it appears to be working fine. For what it's worth, I also have Bridge installed on my Mac and the tool tips take a few seconds or so before they will popup. This is the way I would prefer the windows version to act. Please help? I'm not usually a Windows savvy person, but I figured maybe there are some smarter people o

Bridge crashes when clicking on FILE INFO or when hitting COMMAND + i on the keyboard.Has anyone had the same problem?

I can not open a psd from bridge or process it.  It will open if I drag it into photoshop through the GUI interface.  What is wrong with this file? Any copies of this file in different formats such as Tif act the same way.   Other files psd and Tif open in bridge what is wrong with this file?

Hi, Using Bridge 10.1.1.166Im am fed up of the metadata area not expanding when i enter info, ie keywords.So often i can't see what im typing becuase the area doesnt open up or i cant see all the info ive typed in.Im not typing in millions of words, or descriptions, just 30-50 words etc.It is now so annoying, and its been like it for weeks and weeks. Anyone else?

cant open raw editing in bridge. only from photoshop, but this is what i get, sliders work and adj photo but.... typically i just open photo from bridge and correct please helpthanks

Had to reinstall Br 2019. Holy cow is Br 2020 terrible. Can't change the star rating, rename a file and double clicking does not open the file. Color is off............ Just way too many things to list. Broken software. Br 2019 stills works. PLEASE FIX THIS ADOBE ASAP!
