Bridge

I do this workflow all the time, and it is terribly frustrating. I have a folder of .psd files.  They are all on one theme so I select them all and use file info to put a basic set of meta data on there.  Generic description, etc.Then I go back and select groups of whatever that have similar objects or actions.  In the Metadata window, I will then modify the description, title and generic group of keywords to reflect the more specific things in the image.  I move on to the next one.  Do the same.  Bridge freezes for about 30 seconds, and then I can go on to the next group. So, I'm happy going along doing this, and then I go back up to an earlier image that should have the modified meta now, and discover Bridge decided not to change the meta for that whole set.  Now I just wasted minutes.And i reminds me that I need to wait mmmmiiinnnnuuutteees after each group to make sure Bridge isn't overstressed and skips them.Then at the end of the keywo

Hi community,   My first post here and hoping you can help me avoid diving down a rabbit hole if someone has already accomplished this. If there is already an extension that does this, I would appreciate it if you could point me to it! Otherwise, would like advice on where to start to develop myself.   Use-case: - We have a lot of employees who need to receive files from group of graphic designers that use Adobe Bridge - We want to avoid the designers manually handing off files to employees and make it easy for them to push files natively from Bridge - Must be possible for designers to have multiple accounts and folders synced in the extension that they can select to push files to   Appreciate any help!

For a web-project, we have prepared thousands of PSD files – they all should get exported as PNGs with transparent backgrounds. We planned to use the Export Panel in Bridge for bulk-export – it has a quite useful feature set for this sort of task. Unfortunately, our PNG export failed notoriously ("unsupported file format"). Only JPGs exported fine via Export Panel.  After a chat with Adobe support, an Adobe employee checked my computer via remote session. He couldn't solve the problem. While troubleshooting, he deleted my Bridge preferences without asking and after some time simply left the session without a word. He let an old version of Bridge installed, which he had downloaded for testing. Using bridge to cull large amounts of photos in a folder before importing into lightroom, I like to view them in full screen mode while culling. When I am moving from picture to picture. Adobe Bridge strobes and its uneblievably irritating and hard on the eyes. Is there a way to generate previews for a folder before I begin culling so that I don't have to deal with this?

Hello, I want to use Bridge to organize my photos in different folders, using keyword to organize which photos I want to publish on social media or41 which one I have already published, the problem is that, when I search a keyword on the Bridge Search, nothing appears, I have to view every folder and select all the photos to load the keywords, then is possible to search and show the results with this keyword. I now Bridge can do this because some years ago I used to use Bridge in this way.

Windows 10 Pro 64-bit  (v10.0.19043 Build 19043)Path:  Q:\1_Source_RAW\Canon_5D_MkIII\Raw\2021\ Quick Search and Advanced Search for "Filename > Contains > (some_string_value)" does not find any files in "current" directory, only in sub-directories. There are currently 12 matching files in ...\2021\ that Bridge does not list.Search fails in current directory even if I use the full file name and set criteria to "equals".If I start the search one directory level higher, in "Raw", then Bridge lists the matching files in ...\Raw\2021\ along with matching files in any other sub-directory of ...\Raw\, but no matching files are listed from ...\Raw\.All Bridge caches have been manually purged and rebuilt by Bridge, without any change in search results returned.

I've been recenlty experiencing new problem on bridge which is pixel blurring all widescreeen during library visualization and icon flashing. I inserted screenrecording of the problem.Another problem during the library visualization after cliclink space on the keyboard ( to see picture widescreen) in certain situation after changing the picture with left or right button , the picture is turning in grey widescreen with a flash and turning back on the picture at high frequency. Does enybody has these problem ?  Please Adobe to fix , bridge is always a very problematic application in terms of bugs on Macs. Operating system : Macbook pro with BigSur 11.6 Bridge version 11.1.1.185

Salut, j'ai un soucis avec le téléchargeur de photos de bridge, j'ai un apn Panasonic GH5, le téléchargeur reconnait mes cartes SD mais il n'arrive pas à télécharger leur contenu,  mes photos sont au format RAW, en revanche pas de soucis avec l'autre option "télécharger à partir d'un périphérique, a-t-il le même problème ?j'oubliais j'ai un Mac à jour (Big sur) mon appareil photo est paramétrer  pour l'ordinateur.  

In the old version of Bridge on the left side of the screen the signed pictures appeared I wanted to have in the RAW-Workflow, after having posted "Open in RAW". Now in the new version there shows up nothing. What shall I do?

The workflow starts in the Bridge app with the Edits folder.The thumbnails are selected and a Photoshop scripts saves them into the Review folder and calls the Bridge to the foreground. How can I select the Review folder after the Bridge is called to the foreground?Basically going from the folder path /Edits to the folder path /Review Folder stackSelectsEditsReviewFinals

Batch processing I have two computers with the same versions of Adobe installed. But in one of them and perhaps after some update, the batch job submenu in Photoshop has disappeared.Thanks for your time!   Batch processing  

Bridge opens image right away in Camera RAW when I only clik the image? It´s so frustrating! Is this bug? And how can I fix it?

Hi gang, I have 30 png icons at 84 x 84 x 192ppi and I want to batch export them at 200 ppi. I have the icon files selected in Bridge; I made a custom Export to rez to 200ppi and I saved the custom export. But the Start Export remains grayed out, even tho the 30 PNGs are selected. What am I missing? Is this not the replacement feature for Image Processor and the megascript called Image Processor Pro?

I have not had any problems out of Bridge in a long long time. But this morning I have not be able to open it at all. Every time I try it keeps crashing and won't read anything. Then it closes and won't open back up at all anymore. It is up to date also. Any advice on how to fix this!? I am in the midst of busy wedding season and need it asap!!

Windows 10 has a "Videos" folder located in my User folder but Bridge can't see it on my computer. I've cleared all the filters. Any suggestions?

Can't find maps and documents on desktop with Adobebridge. If i look with Adobe Bridge in the Desktop i can't find anything. The desktop is total empty. Ik kan via Adobe Bridge geen bestanden en mappen die op bureaublad meer openen. Hij geeft niks aan in bureaublad en ook in documenten. Wel zie ik dat deze twee mappen een pijltje rechtsonder naar beneden hebben.  

Prosím o radu, při editování a výběru z většího množství fotek např. ze svatby používám hodnocení pomocí hvězdiček na souborech .jpeg pro rychlejší načítání náhledů a urychlení práce. Následně bych potřeboval toto hodnocení automaticky a rychle přenést na stejné soubory v RAW formátu, které upravuji již dále. Děkuji, pokud taková funkce v Bridgi neexistuje, je možé toto přenést jako požadavek na podporu Adobe ? Ušetří to obrovský kus času.

Bridge PhotoDownloader no longer downloads .mov files. When a .mov file is encountered during download it stops and a pop up box advises:-Adobe Bridge cannot obtain files from this device. Please ensure that the device is connected properly, or the battery is charged, and try again.I am using the latest version of Bridge and have neve encountered this problem before. I am using the latest version of Bridge but the thumbnails do not resize for inDesign files.I have adjusted the Process file size to 25,000, I have read 10 different threads and tried all there solutions but none have worked. The center picture is a Indesign file but will not fill the window like the jpg to the right. No matter how I resize the previews are small thumbnails. I also purged the cache after every change.Please Help!

I am cleaning up thousands of scanned analouge photos (opened in Camera Raw) and I am happy for most parts with the Auto function of Bridge for the Edit & White Balance tabs plus I always add + 10 Clarity.Can these 3 actions be preset or used as keyboard shortcuts for this project ?   

I had a problem a few years ago where I have all of my Adobe apps up to date, but I'm using a previous version of InDesign. When I select an image and go to File>Place>InDesign, even though 2020 is open, it launches 2021 and places into a new document instead of the open 2020 document I wanted it to use.
