My computer operating system is the most current version of Windows 10 Pro. I typically remove my Sony XQD card from my Nikon Z6, and then use a Sony card reader to import my raw files to Adobe Bridge (Ver 11.0.0.83, part of my Adobe Photography subsciption). My problem is that images of the raw files do not appear - ony the icon and filenames appear. So there is no way for me to select which files I want to import unless I set my camera to record each photo in both NEF and JPG formats. I've read that others have this same problem, but so far I've not seen any response related to correcting the problem. Can anyone help? Thank you.
Hey Everyone, I've been having this problem with Adobe Bridge for a while, but i'm getting very terrible, muddy previews (As seen in the video below) This seems to be for videos with Alpha channels. I did notice Media Encoder has the same issues with displaying videos with alpha channel during my renders. However, when i view the end product in windows media or VLC its fine. Does anyone know how to fix this issue of muddy/terrible looking previews? Thanks so much! {Thread renamed by moderator}
I've decided to share the various bugs I have noticed in the new update. Startup : I get the following warning "Are you connected to the internet? We can't verify your subscription status. We can't reach the adobe servers." I can then click "Try again" or "Quit Adobe Bridge". Both do the same thing, return a second message. "We're still having connection problems. We can't verify your subscription status....bla bla." If I click either "Try Again" or "Quit Adobe Bridge", nothing happens after that. It doesn't even shut down like it says it will. Not running any third party Antivirus/security or any VPN service. And everything else works. Not altered any settings for internet/wifi/lan etc. This didn't happen before the update. I have tried uninstall, delete folders and reinstall. Videos : - Double-clicking videos won't open them, I have to right-click and open or open with.- Sometimes moving videos or opening them, locks/stalls Bridge- 4K videos is especially diff
Hi, I tried to enlarge my metadata thumbnail here, but command+ on mac doesn't work, any other way? thanks
Hi there, I have a question regarding the cache folders of Lightroom and Bridge. Is it possible to use the same cache folder for both programs, or is it meaningless because they have two separate caches regardless if they share the same directory? Hence, Lightroom Classic is referring to "Camera Raw" Cache, maybe it is the same cache? best regardsphilipp
I've 100's of thousands of NEF/RAW images store on varius internal and external drives. I've spent hours upon hours creating Meta data, kewords, etc., for these images over the years. I just purchased a new HP system, 6GB nVidia card, SSD, RAM the works. Get everything updated and installed. launch Bridge 2021 and BOOM, no Meta Data or Keywords. They are there when I look on the old system in Bridge 2020 but not on the new system in Bridge 2021. What is even more confusing is that it's not every directory this is happening to, some ddirectories are fine others no XML data. Anyone come across this before?
I have moved four files, 2 PSD and 2 jpg from Adobe Bridge to folders on an external hard drive. they are not showing up in the folders on the hard drive. I have checked that they didn't get moved to the trash by mistake, this is not the case. And I know I moved them to the correct folders. Would anyone know what has happened here please? Thank you. I am using a mac, running macOS Big Sur Version 11.1.
For a long while, Bridge (using version 10.1.1.166) gives this message for large PSD files. Saving as a .PSB doesn't help and I've purged the cache to no avail, so I have assumed there is a file size limitation. But I canot find anything documenting that. Is this the case or is there something I can do to keyword these files?
Using a Mac w/Big Sur. Folder of photos crashes opening in Bridge on my iMac Pro but not on my MacBook Pro. Identical software on both computers. Help
I have a problem with Bridge suddenly crashing while I'm editing Camera RAW files. It almost always happens when I use the keyboard shortcut to zoom the view in or out (⌘+ / ⌘-). The whole program just crashes and shuts down. There are no recovered files available. Sometimes changing the view with keyboard shortcuts works with no problem, and then other times there's just a sudden crash. As a longtime Adobe user it's really hard to get out of the habit of using these keyboard shortcuts, and I shouldn't have to avoid them anyway. Anyone else having this issue? Between this and all the problems with the new PS, I'm losing my mind here!Problem is consistent on both Bridge 2020 and 2021. I'm on a new Mac running Catalina.
Bridge an Photoshop star to open some pictures, one in second, and does not stop. This makes it impossible to start the program in normal way. I can not use Bridge or Photoshop! I hope that Adobe will fix this broblem as soon as possible. Problem started this morning, after I noticed that new versions has been istalled.
I work on a Mac Powerbook Pro, running Catalina OS. I have Adobe Bridge 2021. When I try to look in my Documents folder, it shows nothing. Zero files or folders, nothing. I have the same Documents folder backed up on an external drive and Bridge works fine with that. It was working fine until today. Any help solving this problem would be appreciated.
I think I might uninstall Bridge 2021. There are far too many issues in the last few minutes and this computer has hung more often than it has since owning it. Bridge 2021 should not:cause a system wide slow down because it is resolving some issuesdo everything slower than it has in the last 10 years or sodepend upon Creative Cloud login merely to get Bridge 2021 workingI will be patient with it for a while but it looks as if alternative ways of doing things might be better merely because it avoids the Adobe induced hang on smooth computer operability.
Hi!Is it possible to watch several movies at the same time on the screen? If I mark several mp4-files and would like to see them playing at the same time, exactly at the same time from the beginning, is it possible? Thanks/ Andreas
I fully understand how to add and edit GPS metadata either in Bridge, Lightroom or a third party application and have been doing this successfully for quite some time.I have just bought a Canon EOS 5D Mk iv which has built in GPS and auto tags images (provided that the function is turned on.)With RAW images which have been tagged by the camera, it seems impossible to edit and save changes to the GPS metadata in Bridge or Lightroom successfully (why would i want to is a different question but largely because it lacks accuracy some of the time.)Edited data is recorded in the associated XMP file, but Bridge is reading the original data from the image itself, and ignoring the XMP file. One solution is to convert the images to DNG before making edits then there is no problem with editing and saving the metadata.Using DNG files creates one issue. Namely that, should the original RAW file be extracted from the DNG in the future, it contains the ORIGINAL metadata and not the EDITED versio

Years ago I had to stop my subscription to adobe products because various app didn't allow me to change media cache file which rendered my hard drive useless because of all the space taken. Years after, today, I install bridge and quickly my hard drive gets full because of media cache file.I check the preferences. Is it a bad dream, or it is still NOT possible to define the location of the media cache file of bridge (on mac)?
Mac OS Big Sur:Neuen Benutzer angelegt, Adobe Cloud beim alten B. abgemeldet und beim neuen angemeldet, Adobe Apps. funktionieren ausser Bridge. Bridge lässt sich öffnen, zeigt den gewünschten Ordner an, lässt sich nicht mehr schliessen und keine Arbeitsbereiche anlegen. Schliessen nur über "sofort beenden". Fehlermeldung:
I have created plugins for After Effects and Premiere for a new video file format which has a new file container (ie. not Quicktime or AVI) and so now I can work with these files in those programs (import, export and modify) however Bridge does not recognise these files - is there an SDK that can be used to extend Adobe Bridge to be able to work with the new Video file pes that I have - I can work in C,C++ or Javascript Many thanks, Nigel
When I created an action in CS6 to taked tiffs and process with various parameters into jpegs, when I'd run the action as a batch from Bridge, they would go into the same folder. But now in CC, they go to a set folder, and I have to change the last save function to go into the present folder, and so on, every time I want to process a batch in another folder. I think originally, it was 'save in same folder' but now it is save where last saved. Can I change that option or do I have to create a new action with all the steps I have in the other?
Earlier versions of Bridge allowed to export the cache into the folders, where the files were located. This allowed for smooth browsing through the folders, without having to wait for it to access the cache files somewhere else, or even regenerate them, because the allocated cache size had been exeeded. The recent versions don´t allow this anymore, they even reimporte cache date from the folders into the dedicated - limited sized - cache for all. Allthough it is possible to stop this, the cache for new files, automatically goes to the central cache, with now export to the folders possible anymore. The reorganisation of the cache, which seems to be going on while the user is trying to work, seem to be taking time and resources, keeping hard drives rattling and displays freezing, as soon as the PC is started. With my 300 000+ photo files on 8TB HD space, this has been going on for months now. While I can access newly added files relatively easy, as long as the
User interface scaling options are 100% or 200%, with no other choices.I have difficulty reading the font, especially in the ACR menus, and recognizing the icons using 100%, with font sizing set to its largest option, nearly unusable.200%, with font sizing set to its smallest option, makes the UI enormous, unnecessarily using up my screen real estate, also nearly unusable.See attached for screen shots.Minimal options should be 100, 125, 150, 175, & 200%.I'm quite happy with all of my other applications, e.g., my browsers are set to 100% magnification. My eyes are not what they used to be, requiring reading glasses at times, but still not requiring glasses full time. These latest UI changes leave much to be desired.
Please do you know how to solve the problem with video from Samsung phone? Bridge does not play or display them. However, they are functional in Adobe Premiere. Thanks in advance for the reply;)
I was reverted back recently to Bridge 2020 because the updates crashed my computer and now I can't see TIFF previews. Anyone know how to fix this? Thanks in advance.
