Can I stop (Indexing and Generation when I am using Bridge 2025?  It slows the my computer 

Hi, hopefully this isn't a duplicated request somewhere, but I'm looking to search for multiple filenames in Bridge. I have 100's of files to browse through, and have a list of filenames to search for, but can't see how to enter this data to search. I was hoping to search in Bridge with 'Filename' and a list pasted in the Enter Text file, but it doesn't appear to work.Thanks in advance

Hello, I recently attempted to use the move feature to move an MP4 from my SD card to my Hard drive using bridge. I selected the wrong destination folder, and cancelled the move to select the correct destination, however the original MP4 File is no longer on my SD Card and appears to be gone. I am using Adobe Bridge 2023 on Mac, and searched both finder and the trash to no avail. Is the MP4 gone forever? Thanks!

Old Bridge had a function to save the cache to folders.  Why has it been removed in the cloud version? It also seems that I can't even save the Bridge cache to my C drive.   It appears that the only cache option is that it's saved on the cloud, rather than in my C drive.  I really don't like this as the cloud may not be available. Feature request:  bring back the function to save the cache to folders.  This is better for file saving of individual folders (and their subfolders) rather than having to have one whopper sized Bridge Cache file. Thanks.

Hello allI really need help with this. My colleagues and I use Adobe Bridge to create contact sheet PDF files for client approvals. We place hires transparent PNG files, and export to PDF withh various page layouts (i.e. different numbers of images per page), depending on the client.In the more recent versions of CC (newer that 2018), I have found that hte file size of these PDF files is usually prohibitively big (as we want to be able to emails them to clients with limited bandwidth, and also not clog up our email storage). Instead of being around 1MG in size (which is what I can produce when re-exporting the PDF from InDesign (placing the Bridge-created PDF file into InDesign and exporting a 300dpi interactive PDF), the PDFs from Bridge range between 5 and 30 MG in size.This happens regardless of export image quality settings. Optimising the files after the cae like I do in InDesign is not an option (nor is it viable for us to optimise through Acrobat DC, as this compresses imag

Hi! I use PhotoMechanic to organize my sports photos and am used to using Code Replacements to label the players in photos. I would like to switch this all over to Bridge, but would need an alternative to code replacements for Bridge. This would include using a delimeter and then typing the number of a player and having it replace that with the player's name, number and year in the IPTC description. Does anyone know if there is a way to do this in Bridge?

I have a requirement here, but also some doubts, so I would like to receive some hints… here are the facts: RequirementAlmost always, after generating a .jpg (or .png) file at the end of a typical Photoshop processing section, I rename it, replacing the name automatically generated by the camera (essentially, an abstract progressive code) with a self-explanatory one (such as: "maple in autumn.jpg"). By doing so, however, I lose the link between the .jpg file and the RAW from which it was derived.Sometimes, however, I have happened to "rethink" the result of an elaboration and therefore want to redo it to modify it accordingly, but, having lost the link between the jpg and the RAW, I have to remember it by myself or waste time trying to recover the "right" RAW (perhaps by dint of attempts between several RAWs that are almost identical... When I click on the ‘Desktop’ folder on the left, Bridge crashes.

I posted the following a while ago and it STILL HASN'T BEEN FIXED.There are some changes in the cloudBridge (compared to 2010) that have been useless.  Eg Metadata info in the Metadata panel has wastefully and unnecessarily been indented so the palette needs to be widened far more to be able to see the information.  +Why do the indent?  There was NOTHING achieved by it.So a feature request:  Do not indent the Metada information.

I am unable to open use the "Load Files into Photoshop Layers" tool in Bridge.This is an essential part of my workflow.I am using PS 26.0 and Bridge 15.0.0.397 on a brand new MBP OS 15.1The odd thing is it worked a few times but then stopped.I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling both apps and restarted computer many times.Any thoughts?  

Hi All, I'm hoping this is a really simple problem with a simple solution!  I want to be able to preview a folder full of TIFFs in Bridge, some of them have pages 1 and 2, some of them are only 1 page.  How can I set up Bridge preview to show me the second page of these multi-page tiffs?  Using the arrow keys moves the next file into the preview window, doesn't show me the second page of the file I'm currently previewing.   Thanks for your help,Dania

Why Bridge doesn't show files on the external drive (Thunderbolt Duo)

Recently when I've been using PS Image Processor via Bridge to convert PSD and AI files to JPG it's been either squishing them or stretching them. This didn't use to happen. Any ideas on how to fix?

HiSince a couple of updates ago, Bridge crashes constantly when I'm working on more than about 10 pictures or if I have them processed into JPGs.I have sent countless automated error messages (after the crash) to Adobe asking for help but have not received any response. At the moment, I am using version 14.0.0, but I am not sure if I might need to go back to version 12.0.4Do you have any thoughts?I already reinstalled my computer because I thought it might be another software that wasn't working well with Bridge. After setting up my computer anew, the first thing I installed was Bridge 15, but the problem still persists. All drivers are updated, I use it as Administrator, System Requirements are fine.Thank you

What is the meaning of a chain link icon on a thumbnail in the Contents panel? 

I have been using the latest version of Bridge for months. To view an image listed in Bridge, I have been selecting that image and then pressing the space bar. For lanscape images, pressing the space bar shows a small version of the image centered. To expand that image to full screen, I would then click in the middle of the image and it would expand to full screen. Now, however, when I click on the image it will not expand at all. It remains a small version centered. I want to be able to click the image and have it expand to full screen, as it used to do. What can I do to fix this. Please help!

Hello, Im using Bridge for many years - always working well ... From last 2 or 3 versions I cannot put color labels anymore - with Command+Number, just number and even trough labels menu. I changed shortcuts - still not working - when I press lets say 7 - bridge just jumps to photo which contains 7 in filename.Im using macOS Sequoia 15.0, comp Apple M1 Max.Everything was working fine years until about week ago.Thanx for any help! my downloads from camera keep opening in a secondary window, Why? and how do I find them when I go back in after shutdown.

Hi everyone,I have a problem with bridge, if I try to open a .tif file I get the following warning popup:In English: C:\.........\Photoshop 2024\Photoshop.exe could not be found. Please make sure you have entered the name correctly and try again.I have updated Photoshop to the newer version (Photoshop 2025), why Bridge does not automatically change to the new version? All the other time I updated Photoshop Bridge did get instantly the new version as the standard app,Here are my config in Bridge:Standard was set to Automatically select the newer installed version, I tried setting it up manually to Photoshop 2025, but it didn't work,If I set up manually to open all .tif files with Photoshop 2025 it works, but I dont want to do it for all the file extension that I would eventually want to open with Photoshop.It is a Windows problem? A Bridge bug? Did someone else experienced the same thing, or am I alone with this?

I updated it to the latest version.Running bridge causes a "bridge-12.jsx" error.Even if you delete the bridge and reinstall it,The same error occurs.Please tell me the solution.     

We're way past the 90s, so how about implementing a variable zoom instead of just 100%, 200%, 400% that we know from Windows XP. Sometimes when you show photos to clients, you just want to zoom a little bit in and not all the way to 200%. For this use-case, it would also be nice to have an option to toggle between pixel interpolation on/off. This feature was requested many times!
