Bridge

I'm using Bridge 2020 on Macbook Pro High Sierra. It seems File Cut (Apple+X) is permanently disabled in Bridge 2020.  Does anyone know why this is?  Maybe it is mirroring the behaviour of Mac Finder? Irritating. This feature was working in Bridge CS5

I use Adobe Bridge 2020 macOS but do not use raw files. Can I delete the 1GB Camera Raw folder in Library>Application Support and continue to use Bridge?

Hi, Yesterday I installed Bridge CC 2019 and when I choose to open moore than 20 images, Bridge freezes and I can't clic on anything. I have to the apple icon and force the programme to exit. I have never had this problem before.I have updated my iMac (Retina 5 K, late 2015) with the newest OS (High Sierra).Has anyone a clue? 🙂Grateful for all help.

After I have updated my Bridge license to 2019 version, I can no longer search keywords added to files in previous version of Bridge.When I check my files, they have the keywords added, but Bridge cannot find them in a general search.This is a big problem for me since all my pictures are based on taggings in Bridge.

I posted a query with this subject a while ago. I got no reply after I provided the requested information. What have I done wrong? 

Yesterday (11/4/19) I installed the new releases of Photoshop, Bridge, and Camera Raw.  All looked good at first.  Today, during about a 2 hour period, I've experienced 3 "crashes" of my GPU.  This happens rather unpredictably.  When it does happen there a message box that appears saying that there's a problem with the GPU.  When I click on the button another message box appears.  When I click the button on that box, the box is removed and the same box displayed again.  It's an endless loop which requires using the Task Manger to terminate Bridge.  On the most recent crash I was cropping an image in Bridge when things went wrong.My OS is Windows 10 with all updates installed.  My computer is an HP Envy 750-597c with an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 3GB gpu.

The first image is a screen shot of the content bottom of the screen the second is of the preview.  Never noticed a difference before. Please help   

I've granted full disk access and deleted my cache, but Bridge still won't preview any files in any folder on Catalina. Any suggestions on how to fix?   {Thread renamed by moderator}    

People have been posting about Catalina issues here. When I did my update I used a program to clean out old cache and files before upgrading to Catalina Unfortunately I could not remember the program I used until now. It was https://macpaw.com/ This not an endorsement of this product and in no way I am going out on a limb and telling everybody it fixes everything wrong with Catalina I am posting this only to provide a option for people that worked for me, on my Mac Pro, and has limited my issues using the new OS.      

Adobe Bridge - RAW editing; All pictures selected. First picture Basic setting "automatically" selected. There is no synchronization, all other pictures remain at "standard".Deutsch: Mehrer Bilder aus der Bridge in der RAW-Bearbeitung geöffnet. Dort alle Bilder ausgewählt. Das erste Bild bearbeitet: Bei Grundeinstellungen "Automatisch" gewählt. Früher wurden jetzt alle Bilder ebenfalls auf "Automatisch" gestellt, jetzt bleiben alle auf "Standard" stehen. Muss jedes Bild einzeln anklicken und kann dann "Autiomatisch" wählen. Sehr mühsam und umständlich!

Hey, I'm trying to catalogue my studio's photography library through using the keyword function in Bridge. I need to know if this catalogue is linked to my creative cloud account or if it can be stored in the Creative Cloud storage to be accessed by everyone linked to our team account. Meaning if my account is deactivated the catalogue still exists. From what I can tell Capture One has all the same functionality and the ability to back up like you would a hard drive  Cheers, 

Lately I can't seem to work more than a few minutes with Bridge (mainly editing images) before it stops responding and I am forced to quit the program and start from scratch. It's incredibly annoying and time consuming and now I just want to find a different program altogether. It's just a big waste of my time. I can move pictures in my android phone to Lightroom when I tether the phone to my PC, but not to Bridge. I do most of my work in Photoshop and it would be helpful to work from Bridge. What can be done?

I downloaded Bridge in Creative Cloud Desktop.  The only way I can open  Adobe Bridge is click on the in the Start list as Run as Adminitrator.  If I try and open it in Creative Cloud Desktop I get "The operation could not be Completed" when the program opens, then disappears.  What am I doing wrong.

When trying to open Adobe Bridge, I get no response at all.  I click on the open button, but nothing happens...Photoshop will open just fine, but I need Adobe Bridge in order to complete my work in Photoshop.

Hello i have a question regarding: Bridge output pdf contact sheets. We have templates that we are using i have been looking for the templates and where they are saved on my computer so that we can share this file/fils on different computers.  Simple explanation: search path for the files that have the output pdf presets in bridge, where can i find them?

dear all,this week my harddisk refuces to start up again. so I have to reinstall all my software.i am working with Adoe Bridge to order my photo's with keywords.can anybody tell me where i can find the overview of these keywords. Hi All,I didn't see this previously addressed, so apologies if it's a double dip BUT is there a way to export a list of my keywords used that includes how many times that keyword is tagged? So if the tag 'tree' comes up 10 times in a selection, the line of text will say 'tree [10]' or the equivalent? Thanks for the help,K

Can anyone help. I have just got my macbook and downloaded the photography package, i plugged my sd card adapter in and opened bridge for the first time. i opened the sd card doc and found all my photos. the something popped up on my screen about my adapter which i pressed dismiss. Suddenly all my photos went of screen and my adapter (or sd card) is no longer opening in the bridge app so i cant find and choose my photos to edit.  Can anyone help me reverse my process or tell me how to hard reset bridge on my computer ? thankyou 

If I press the space bar to view the image full screen, Bridge freaks out. If I want to make a screenshot of this, all becomes normal. So I took a photograph of my screen. 

Okay, so Bridge won't open now I've updated to Catalina on my mac. No update icons appear on any products including Bridge and Photoshop. When I click the install icon on either nothing works, it just fizzles to nothing. I can still use Photoshop but not Bridge.Catalina seems to be a menace as my ON1 effects doesn't work now either! Help please!

I used an api to add keywords to stock photos but all the keywords came over wrapped in quotes and display as one giant keyword. Is there a way to batch remove the quotations around the keywords in the keyword field?Thanks

Since I upgraded to Bridge 2020, the output module shows the same bug as in some previous Bridge versions. PDF generated from sRGB images (.psd files or jpegs) is completely oversaturated, expecially the reds. Doesn't matter if "Preserve Embedded Color Profile" in the preferences panel is checked or not. This was solved before but seems like we're back at it again after installing 2020.  ***UPDATE*** After clearing Bridge cache this is what happens: the output module generates a pdf file with oversaturated colors if I select .psd files.If I select the jpeg copies of the same images, the pdf shows correct colors. Creating a pdf from photoshop file>automate menu gives good results with both .psd and .jpg files. Weird thing is that the .psd thumbnails in Bridge content panel show the same oversaturated colors as in the generated pdf, while the preview panel shows correct colors.

Hi there,  Is it possible to use the Adobe Cloud Storage to store photos and then be able to access these from either Bridge or Lightroom across multiple devices without downloading/syncing? I will not be swapping between Bridge and Lightroom, I will choose one program to use depending on which works best! What I would like to be able to do is access the images via one of these apps, and then use it to search through the catalogue using keywords/tags to filter the images and pull together PDFs for clients. I would also need to be able to edit and add keywords/tags. This needs to be done while all the images remain in the cloud - I don't want them to have to sync image to my device in order to make these searches or changes, as I have found to be the case while using Bridge or Lightroom with DropBox.  Any advice would be greatly appreciated - thank you!

Our Bridge 2018 8.1.0 freezes at building the cache.Multiple Users has this problem since we upgraded from Bridge CS5 to CC 2018.The Users are using Windows Server 2012 R2 as a Terminal Server. After opening a new folder or switching between different folders the program just freezes.We have tried to rebuild the Cache and set it to a other drive. Also we have tried to delete all Bridge user data. Every time the same result.Do you have any ideas what we could try next?
