Plugins installed in the common plugins folder are duplicated by Audition.Happens with other plugins too, not just Loupedeck.Audition also crashed when I removed the control surface (to change to the other one).// please contact if logs or something is needed  (karo.holmberg(ät)loupedeck.com).

When attempting to open Adobe Audition, only get a crash report. Attaching crash report to thread. I've restarted the computer, uninstalled and reinstalled the program with no luck.

I'm a voiceover artist who does a lot of eLearning narration. One client has a particular requirement of audio files split by file name, with 150ms of silence added to start and end of each file. I have a favourite called 'add 150ms' of silence and after I've split the files I batch process the files by dropping into the batch process window and running my favourite. Works great - HOWEVER sometimes audition adds an audible click to the end (and sometimes the start) of the file. As it's not constant I therefore have to go through each file and check the start and end of each file to ensure the click isn't there and using auto-repair keyboard shortcut to remove.Given the inability to navigate the files area with the cursor keys, it means I have to go through EACH file by double clicking - which is a ball-ache. Why does audition add this click sometimes? I was editing audio in a multitrack session when Audition crashed. After I reopened the program, the audio files all played without sound - not just in Audition, in other programs too. I can still see their waveforms in the multitrack session, but when playing, the level at the bottom shows nothing. Other programs tell me the files are completely mute. Is there any way to recover the audio since Audition still remembers the waveforms?

I get this error message so I'm not ablt to record.   The sample rates of the audio input and output devices do not match. Audio cannot be recorded until this is corrected. Use the appropriate operating system or audio device control panel to adjust the sample rates of the input and output devices to use the same settings."   Can anyone tell me how to fix this? I've only encountered this issue this week, but it is happening everytime I use Audition. When I am in waveform editor, I will zoom in, let's say to the middle of a file, and add a cue marker either by using keyboard shortcut "M" or through the right click menu. The zoom immediately moves over the beginning of the file, so I'm no longer looking at where I just created the marker. Can anyone explain this behaviour? I'm in Audition 23.3.0.55 on a MacBook Pro, 2021 M1 Pro.

Could anyone please tell me what is the preferred length for a miltutrack session? I am trying to edit the sound for a feature film that is  by using the "Edit Sequence in Adobe Audition" feature, and I am running into a number of issues. The first issue is that it takes over a half hour to open the Audition project. The second issue is that every time I try to save, it takes about 7 minutes to save the multitrack session. The third issue I'm running into, which might be unrelated, is that I am using the iZotope RX plugin to clean up dialogue clips, but upon reopening, the clips are completely blank.  After chatting with an Adobe representative, sharing my screen, and allowing them to check out my session, they informed me that 1, I would have better luck splitting my session up into smaller, 10 minute sessions. And 2, they infomed me that third party applications are not very good to work with in Adobe Audition, as they can cause all kinds of mystery.  I am ju

If anyone can help. I just did a a few voiceover recording session. The recording went fine. But when I try to open the file in Audition the file has no waveform and ther eis no audio. This happened to all the 5 recordign sessions t that were from 30 seconds to 2 minutes.First time this is happening its liek the file was recordied over. First time happening have no idea why Audiotion is acting thios way.

I'm working on sound effects for a video game I'm making, using Audition to edit the audio. And every single time, at the very end of the effect, Audition adds a pop/crackle noise at the very end, present both in playback and the exported sound. If I try to trim the crackle off, then a new crackle will be present, again at the very end.It's barely noticable on its own, listening to the sound effect by itself, but in the game, the fact that every single sound effect has this crackle becomes extremely noticable and distracting.I attached a sample sound effect so you can maybe hear what I'm talking about.I'm not a tech expert, somebody please help! What's the deal here!?

I still have that boring issue that Audition 23.3.0.55 doesn't remember the right map location, even after you start a new project by creating a new map for it. When you press save it file map isn't even in the list. This was reported in 2017 already and also a post about said it was solved. Unfortunately not on my location. I communicated with Falk O about it during a few at IBC shows. When batch processing to MP3 in the latest version, the bitrate type (VBR or CBR) in Export Settings resets every time. The spec I'm working to requires 192kbps CBR but this selection isn't remembered so I have to change it from "VBR high quality" every time which adds an annoying step to my workflow.

Hello. I brought a project in from Premiere Pro and wanted to do some simple high and low shelf automation on tracks to simulate distance to camera. That said, I've come across something that is very peculiar and really can't understand the routing of (I'm primarily a Resolve and Fairlight user), so I'm hoping the community will have some answers. My automation writing for the low shelf goes absolutely fine, and the track automatically goes to Touch mode, great. When I go to put in automation for the high shelf, though, Audition erases all my automation for the low shelf, even though these are separate parameters (and Audition even knows they're separate given I can indiviudalize them in the envelope section). While I know the softwares are different, I'm looking at Fairlight and I can use the same EQ effect to automate these shelves, yet the in house parametric eq in Audition and the Track EQ both erase one shelf's automation when I start working on the other. hello all. i have a Zoom live track L8 running through a laptop with Audio Pro using Windows 10. in audio hardware  i select AISO for device class. it lists my Zoom L8 AISO Driver as the device, but "(not working)" is indicated after it. i tried un installing and reinstalling the drivers, well as logging out of Audition multiple times. i dont know wether to look to the Zoom L8 or to Audition to try to find the problem. im open to suggestions, thank you

Using Audition 23.3.0.55 on an M1 Mac running Ventura 13.3 When exporting my multitrack mixdown of an entire session, the markers are not included in the resulting file.  I have about a dozen markers in a 38-minute podcastI choose File:Export:Multitrack Mixdown:Entire SessionI ensure the "Include markers and other metadata" is selected I export as either .wav or .mp3, but neither file types include the markers. MacOS QuickView does not show any chapters, Forecast does not show any chapters. I opened a session that successfully exported the markers a few months ago and tried exporting a new file, and the markers were not included. This feels like a bug introduced recently.

v23.3.0.55 - Windows 11 Education, 64-bitAfter Audition recently updated to this version, I'm running to issues of the XMP AES Cart metadata randomly being unable to save to files. Sometmes if I try to save the file again it works- sometimes it doesn't. I've never experienced this with Audition, in years and years of use. We are in a university setting, and our Adobe products are updated as new versions are released.- Greg

I get this error when saving any file.  The fil esaves fine, but this is a new pop-up each time.

I'm not sure whether this is a bug, or just a setting I'm missing somewhere, so thanks for any advice. Here's the issue: often (like more often than not) when I record a file and choose to save it as Mp3, I get an error pop-up that says "An error occurred when saving the file to disk. The destination may be full or no longer available." I can confirm that the destination is available and not full, it happens regardless of the destination, and this error never happens when I save as WAV to the same destination, only when I'm saving as Mp3. And if I click "ok" and try again with the same file name and destination, it saves just fine, sometimes even asks if I want to overwrite the file it just told me it couldn't save. For reference, I'm running Audition CC build 23.0.0.54 (but this has been an issue on any version at least as far back as October, when I started needing Mp3 files more often) on Windows 10 Pro. Hi friends I have just install Audition and I am new using the app. How can I remove these little icons that get in the way and appear on each of the panels. I can not see claraly all my tools in every corner and it is very uncomfortable. Below you can see a capure. Thanks you very much.   

While recording vcal audio, I notice the vertical bar that goes across the screen "jump" every now and then. On playback the audio skips ahaed as if it was a bad cut. Could it be the software? or am I missing something? 

After using this tool for over a decade, I've realized that its UI is setup in reverse from what you wouldexpect, and visual representation of the effect is as well. Here are some screen grabs of a recent session cleaning a mono VO track.I have custom settings, and use an envelope to be more agressive outside voice range, protecing the voice. This image shows settings that have been giving me good results (counter-intuative to the UI y Axis negative DB scale). Once processed you can see in the waveform on the left as well as the frequencey analisis, that the baseline noise has been reduced. (Red is the unprocessed, Yellow is processed in the Frequencey Analysis tool )  I was setting up a new system with my custom settings, and started second guessing myself, so I made the envoelpe based on the Y axis oreintation as well as the spectral frequency NR preview... Hi Audition lovers,I have used markers since forever, the shortcut key M to create one at wherever the cursor is.  Today I found that I press M, and it places a marker, but my view suddenly changes.  The visible area window has moved to the end of the current file.  The Marker was placed also. before here I am Press M and then suddenly I'm here (right end of the file) and my marker was created back where it was supposed toI checked my shortcuts for M and removed a couple (that were not related to cursor position) about adding CD cue markers (for Shift+M and Ctrl+M)Yet still, if I'm zoomed in at all, and press M, I get my marker, but then I teleport to the edge of the file, and have to maneuver back to where I was. Can you think of why this is happening?Thanks for reading!Audition 23.3.0.55, says I'm up to date. 

I got the latest update to audition in windows and now everytime I add a marker it scrolls back to the start of the audio. Also after using the spacbar to pause and play it stops working. It no longer plays nor pauses the audio track.

When opening an audio file for editing with Adobe Audition 2023 from within Premier Pro 2023, Audition cannot read the file as it shows it is corrupted. Workaround is to open the audio file directly into Audition and then import the edited file back into Premier Pro.
