Adobe Community Help keeps popping open when working within Adobe Photoshop CS5. I'm not sure if I'm doing some sort of shortcut that causes it to open, but sometimes (maybe once instance, during a 40hr week) Adobe Community Help will open in a Window while I am doing stuff in Adobe Photoshop CS5. I'm not sure what causes it, but I'll close the Community Help window, and then continue working in Photoshop, and it will open again. Only way to keep it from opening back up again is to close and restart Photoshop. This has happened to me on my home PC as well, and in previous versions of Photoshop, if I remember correctly. I am using Windows 7 now, but I think I've had this happen on XP too. Is it because there are updates available? Is it because I'm doing some sort of weird shortcut that I don't know about? An example: I was transforming an object (using the mouse, clicking, using shift button while moving the cursor, using the space bar while panning, etc.) It just opened again. Guess i

Found a very frustrating and time consuming bug in PS CC 2015 today. I have an embedded smart layer which is the background I'm using over 8 different Art-boards in the same file. I'm using a smart layer so that if I want to change the background I change it once and it updates in all art-boards... simple stuff The problem is when editing each art-board I need to lock the background layer so I don't move it whilst selecting other things. This is fine until I made a change to the smart-object background, expecting to see it update across all art-boards, when it only updated on a couple of them. Checking each art-board layer stack carefully, I noticed that the ones who's backgrounds didn't update happened to be locked, so I unlocked them and saved the embedded smart layer again expecting that it was just a refreshing bug. I can not see thumbnails for vector layers and smart objects. It concerns the narrow thumbnails which have a smaller width/height than the layer icon-type inside thumbnail.I see it in each web design. I'm slow down by this issue. Because for me, thumnail has no value.

I am having issues with the new upgrade to Photoshop CC 2015 on Mac El Captain. The only thing I did was upgrade from a working CC 2015 to the new version. Using the liquify tool give the following look. There is a box around the area liquified that is lighter than the other areas. When I turn of Use Acceleration in Graphics Processor, it is better but .... I didn't have to do this in the prior version i.e.. Yesterday. New Update: The Squiggly waist is the liquified:

Generator is the greatest thing I've discovered in Photoshop in a long time, and of course it continues my love hate relationship with Adobe product. I love it...when it works. It seems very temperamental. Sometimes I just can't get it to generate assets. The Image Assets checkmark is checked and my file is all set up correctly, it just doesn't produce anything. Sometimes changing layer comps triggers it to start working, sometimes I'll have to remove an extension in a layer name, then re add it, sometimes just reopening photoshop or the file itself gets it working. Any tips on this? Is this a known issue? I'm actually dealing with a PSD right now that I can't get to generate assets no matter what I do, and I've quadruple confirmed that everything is set up correctly. Thanks for any input.

New tool within the "History Brushes" - the "Undo History Brush" - which use the history from the last step instead of the last snapshot

Updated to Photoshop CC 2015. Having "Auto-Select: Layer" turned on, and using the Move Tool, when I drag over an are to auto-select multiple layers, it works fine to select those layers in that area. However, if I drag across the full canvas and then reduce my selection size, it still keeps those other layers selected, even when they're not in the "Selected" area.

I am a Creative Cloud Photography plan subscriber. I just upgraded my Windows desktop running 64 bit Windows 10, to a Dell 5K (UP2715K) monitor powered by an Nvidia GTX 960 based card. Because this is a hi-dpi display, i have Windows, and Photoshop CC 2015 set to 200% UI scaling. Unfortunately, the top toolbar is broken in this configuration showing a large black rectangle over three quarters of the toolbar. See attached. Please address this in the next update. Caesar

I used the work around for the transparent box left in liquify and that works, but if you try to use the freeze mask photoshop freezes up. I am trying to be patient here but this is a royal pain. You pay for software that you can't use. I use the liquify a lot as I previously stated for senior sessions.

Photoshop CC 2014: In the Character flyout panel the font variant dropdown is jammed up against the right side of the panel's edge unlike all the other dropdowns. I regularly miss the control and end up toggling the panel closed instead. It's kind of frustrating.

Scripting bug in CC2105 Only tested on Win 7..... window.location doesn't work for any of my dialog windows. It centers the window regardless of the coordinates. All of my scripts works fine on CS3/4/5/6/CC/CC2014. This issues just popped up on CC2015. window.location still works on palettes though

On Save operation Photoshop creates an operation system power management assertion which prevents the operating system to go in idle system sleep mode during save operation. Good idea in theory! My Problem is that Photoshop does not remove these assertions when the save operation is finished. I have to quit Photoshop to remove these assertions. Photoshop 2015.1 -And yet another bug from the new update. On windows 10 I am unable to change the H size or Y position of selected artboards. This bug doesn't appear on Mac version of the new update. I can change the W and X options. But H and Y are grayed out and inaccessible. Consider adding an [Update to Beta products] option in Creative Cloud Application Settings if Adobe QA team is non-existent.

So I was holding my fingers crossed all this time and hoped it'll get fixed with 2015.0.1 update. Nope. Still exists. The problem in a nutshell: I need to copy a folder or a single layer from one doc to another. Into a specific place within the layer list. So I stack two document windows side by side, mark the place I'm interested in in the receiving doc by clicking on the folder/layer in the layer panel. I'm now dragging my stuff from the donor doc and hoping that it will end up in that very specific place within the layer panel of the receiving doc. But Photoshop just places it in the very top of the list. Every time. Same way it did with the duplicate layer which is now fixed. Same way it still does with the smart objects dragged from the Creative Cloud panel. Errgh. Mandatory stuff: OS X Yosemite, 2 extensions that never affected anything, PS v2015.0.1

Photoshop CC2015 has introduced a strange behaviour with the crop tool. I often use the crop tool in reverse - dragging out wider/taller to add some more canvas to an image. Sometimes I also use the arrow keys to nudge the crop tool's position. With CC2015 - when nudging I get this weird flickering/bouncing effect where the image is momentarily stretched to the wider/taller crop area and then it bounces back to 100% size. Every arrow nudge causes this bounce to happen. This is OS X 10.10 specific and I'm aware that there are known video driver issues but this did not happen with CC2014.

Hey, i have some issue with the vanishing point, on cs5 everything works well, now im on the latest update on CC few things happens 1. i get this margins (attached) that make it difficult placing objects 2. after i paste an object, if iclick off board i cannot reselect object and i need to cancel and redo 3. controling the object, after i place it on the grid, it flip, turns, disappear. any ideas? im on Imac 27 5k

The swatches panel's scrollbar becomes disabled when using the color picker. My solution is to resize the swatches panel when using the color picker. It's not frustrating, but it's a problem that some users might not figure out. Before resizing: Image is not available After resizing: Image is not available After resizing the swatches panel (while the color picker is open), the swatches panel's scrollbar becomes enabled again.

When using a type/text area in PS my keyboard arrow key's sometimes just stop working. There's just no more feedback and I have to restart PS to 'fix' the problem. This is a very annoying bug which really degrades my productivity! Please help!

I use Photoshop CC. When I try to upsize a photo, it goes black since installing El Capitan on my Mac. Downsizing photos works fine. Is this a bug?

I keep getting this error when I start PS CC 2015: To complete serialization, please quit and restart Photoshop. It just keeps putting up this error, and then closing the app. Any ideas??

Smart Sharpen preview is a lot slower in El Capitan than in Yosemite. The preview is sometimes blank/white for several seconds. Why so and will it be improved?

The layer color reverts to grey instead of duplicating it with the rest of the layer's properties.
