I just had to do a fresh reinstall of my Mac. Both before the reinstall and now I am on the same OS 14.5 (Sonoma) and latest Photoshop (25.9.0). Before the reinstall everything worked fine. Now panning with holding the spacebar does not work - the pan tool does not activate with spacebar. And also the command + spacebar for calling the zoom also does not activate. The only relevant info I could find is something to do with an antivirus app (WHo uses antivirus on a Mac ?!?!?), which I don't have, and the other was something about keyboard shortcuts in the system preferences.I checked the shortcuts, but they are just as they have always been. I do have cmd+space changing the language, but again, that has always been the case, and never was in any conflict with the zoom. Also it does not explain why the pure pan tool does not work. Any help will be very appreciated. P.S.Why on earth is there no option to keep one's application and workspace settings in the CC cloud? I

Photoshop 25.9.0.Free Transform in the Edit menu is always checkmarked like it's in use, even when I am not transforming anything. I can be doing anything in Photoshop, and it always stays checked as if in use.When I first open Photoshop, it is not checked, but once I actually transform something, the menu text stays on the whole time, long after the transform has been done.

In photoshop 2022 (version 23.2), photoshop implemented a Blue Share button in the top right corner of the app workspace that is supposed to turn into a button of the sme color as the other tool options bar icons.   With the latest 23.2.2 update the Blue Share button does not go away after first use as described on this page under Easily find the Share button   https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/whats-new/2022-1.html   I reset the photoshop preferences as i do after every photoshop update by trashing the preferences folder.       Share button that the Blue Share button is supposed to appear as after first use       In the 23.2.2 update the button still stays as a Blue Share button after first use

When entering Chinese, there is a situation of continuous repetition of output characters. Has anyone ever encountered the same situation?

while in 32 bit mode, if I command L or just adjustments>levels on any mask there is a hard crash of photoshop and not saving any work at all.   Big bug for me! : mac studio 2022 M1 photoshop 2024 all versions.    

It's quite old bug. Ps version is 23.5.1 in video. Window10   You can see my keyboard shortcut is empty which Previous or Next Brush. Then it shouldn't work. No matter how many times I press <(,) and >(). But, interesting point is... It still works.  So the solution I found is to delete all the brush presets.If i remove all the presets, you can see that no matter how much I press the keyboard, it doesn't work the way I want it to.The reason why this is important is that left-handed users like me use the keys on the right a lot. (Assign shortcuts)However, if you don't delete the preset as I showed you, the brush will change as you want. So I had to delete all the presets for years, and I never made brush presets.It's a funny bug, right? Rollback is not effective. From my memory, this is also a 5-6-year-old bug.Of course, it is less serious than other serious problems on the bug tab, so I don't know if this will be fixed. Unfortunately with the recent updates Photoshop becomes slower and more buggy. Expecially when using smart objects. Sometimes when I drag a smart object from one canvas to another, Photoshop hangs for several seconds. This has never happened before. It also sometimes hangs when I just move smart objects around. Sometimes Photoshop won't response any more at all and I have to kill the task. Weirdly enough the GPU usage is as about 70% for Photoshop all the time in those situations. So something is going on. Again - something that only started to happen recently.   Any ideas what's going on here? I don't want to have to revert to an older version again.

The Mixer brush scaling seems to be a bit buggy with saved brushes.  Reproducible in V19 and V20.  With the Mixer brush, if I sample a texture and then paint, the texture scales up and down with the brush size when adjusted (man, would rotation be sweet too).  However, if I save that brush (either as a Tool Preset or a Brush Preset) when I load the brush again the texture is saved, but if I adjust the size of the brush up or down the texture disappears. It will revert to the last sampled texture/colour.  This only happens with saved Mixer Brushes, but it does make them a lot less useful.  Bug?

Photoshop 21.1.1 - Transforming a layer and scrubby-zooming in before applying results in the seeing the pre-transformed layer. Steps to repro:- activate a layer transform using cmd/ctrl-5- scale the layer up or down- with transform still active, zoom in using scrubby zoomresults: The layer render jumps back to the pre-transformed view and doesn't redraw until scrubby is released.This is with Win10 + Nvidia.

Issue: Stroke distorting on Ellipse when using the Layer FX's. Photoshop version: Adobe Photoshop Version: 24.1.1 20230112.r.238 4bbfa7a x64OS: Win11 version 22H2 (OS Build 22621. 1265) Steps to Reproduce: Open a new document Use the Ellipse tool to create a circle shape (i.e 300px x 300px). Set fill but no stroke. In the layers panel select FX > Stroke Set the stroke to Outside and the size to 60.   Expected result: Stroke should maintain perfect circular form the same way it does when setting the stroke on the shape itself without using FX.   Actual result: The stroke becomes wavy when using the Layer FX options.

I constantly use the HUD color picker for selecting color. The shortcut is Shift + Alt + Right click. This lets a hue strip or color wheel pop up to quickly choose colors on the fly. This shortcut used to work for both the brush tool and the gradient tool. Below is a screen grab of the HUD color picker wheel.   Ever since version 24 has been introduced this shortcut no longer works for the gradient tool.    I have been in touch with Adobe numerous times, but the recent updates still have this bug. So, I am still using version 23.   Is anyone else struggling with this?

PS version 23.0.1 (and a few older ones)Windows 10When I turn off "Spacing" to make my brush move faster (mostly used when smudging with large brushes that cause lag) I lose Pen Pressure or Pen Tilt control over the brush properties. The settings are available (no error warning), the preview stroke seems fine (thick and thin), it just doesn't acts like it's now there.   If I turn "Spacing" back on, I have full pressure sensitivity (and laggy brushes).   Same issue with or without Windows Ink, and I tried rolling back to 4 or 5 old photoshop versions.   What changed recently? I'm using a new Huion tablet to replace an old Wacom Cintiq that broke, but while I was setting up the new tablet, PS had an update so I can't be 100% sure who's at fault.I've tried another Huion tablet on my computer, same exact thing happens. We have 15 Mac computers that are all connected to a NAS via SMB. Four of these are the new Apple Silicone computers which are great except that we're having an issue that is isolated to these new computers and Photoshop. An error prevents us from opening some PSD files on the NAS: "Could not open "file name" because the file is locked, you do not have necessary access permissions, or another program is using the file."    We can access these same files from the Intel Macs without any problem (including using the same network credentials). I've verified it is a problem that is limited to the Apple Silicone computers and only when accessing some files. There doesn't seem to be any ryme or reason as to why this is happening.   Most of these computers are running MacOS version 12.3 or 12.3.1. I've verified that all the available permissions are granted in the Privacy preferences pane. We've been trying everything to find a solution for this but haven't any success so f

Photoshop 25.6.0 Mac OS Sonoma 14.4.1 While working in indexed color mode, I'm no longer able to select a specific area (contiguous) or the entirety of a particular color. Instead, the whole document is selected. This is a huge problem for the type of work I do and switching to RGB just to make the magic wand tool function properly isn't usually a good option. Any plans for a fix? I was told to try to revert to Photoshop 25.5.1 but that isn't showing as an option on CC.  

Hi,   I already posted a similar issue here : https://community.adobe.com/t5/photoshop-ecosystem-bugs/p-artboard-display-glitch-in-all-versions-since-ps-22/idc-p/12996225#M57945 I'm sad to see the artboard bug was aknowleged but never adressed, and it even got a bit worse now but thats not the issue I want to raise here.   So I found another way to replicate this bug without artboards, and hopefully  it will give the devs a better clue on what's happening: On the screen, you can see I have 2 layers inside a masked group (I selected the mask area to show the mask limits). If you select both layers and you move them, anything outside the mask and/or document limits will be cut. You have to "force" a display refresh with hide/show layer (or another layer movement but you'll get the same issue if you had anything outside limits).   Please note the same constraint apply from my previous post on this issue: -you need to select and move at least two "pixel" layers or "sma

I found that certain Emoji characters change completely if converted into a Smart Object in Photoshop. This is on version 25.7 and on Windows 10.Using the "Noto Color Emoji SVG" font, type out the Hammer and Wrench emoji 🛠️Conver the layer to a Smart Object.It will change to the Playground Slide emoji 🛝Double-clicking the Smart Object layer will show a notice asking to update font rendering, which reverts the character back to the correct emoji. This seems to happen from the Hammer and Wrench emoji all the way down, and only with the SVG emoji font, specifically. Somehow, the issue goes away for some of the higher up problem emojis when I was trying to record.

I am using Photoshop 22.5.1 on Mac OS Big Sur Macbook Pro 2017.  My photoshop document somehow has type with a blue interior stroke/outline. It is not a layer stroke effect. I can change the color of the text but not the outline color. When I enter new text into the outlined text block it also has the same outline. If I select the outlined text and change the font selection the new font is outlined the same way. When I type a brand new text block within the document the type is normal (no outline) but I am unable to remove the outline from any of the existing text blocks and can't figure out how it got there.

I can't draw paths with the pen tool without the tool sticking after about every 6th click. This makes drawing complex paths around images an absolute pain and is affecting my productivity. I use a mouse, not a tablet and am on PC. PS build 24.3.0. This has been like this for well over a month. Can somebody please fix this. Adobe, you'll add any amount of bloat features but don't pay attention to the everyday stuff that us users need to simply get our work done. Absolutely not impressed!!!

Hello, today, I updated all Adobe applications on my MacBook Pro M1 through the Creative Cloud process. For me, these were the programs Photoshop, Photoshop Beta, Bridge and Camera RAW. All worked, but Photoshop 2024 (without Beta) is no longer displayed in the MacBook's "Laughpad". I have also moved the program to another folder and then put it back under Applications, but that didn't help. I then uninstalled Photoshop and reinstalled it. But it still does not show up. Actually I don't care, because Photoshop works, but somehow I want to have it clean.Does anyone have the same problems?Photoshop Version: 25.0.0 20230906.r.37 b14e317 arm64Mac OS Version: 3.5.2 (22G91)

If a text LAYER is selected and you enter the color picker, you are able to select a text color from the Swatches panel. But if some text is HIGHLIGHTED and you enter the color picker, you are unable to select a text color from the Swatches panel; the computer just beeps at you. There's no reason this shouldn't work. It used to work in previous versions of Photoshop.   I am aware that, if you have some text highlighted, you can change the color of the text by clicking on a color swatch without entering the color picker. This is nice, but it should not be the only way to change the color of selected text.

Hello Adobe Tech Team,   When I duplicate artboard consisting of a solid color adjusment layer and a gradient adjustment layer, the color and the gradient position gets changed.    Please help me out with this issue as soon as possible.     Thank You
