Every time I use select and mask tool it crashes every time. For now, I am using old select and mask tool using 'shift'. Can anyone please help why this issue is occurring? @ My PC configuration is- Processor: Intel core i5-7200U CPU @2.50 GHZ Ram: 16.0 GB System type: 64 bit (windows 10) Graphics Adapter- Chip Type: Intel(R) HD Graphics Family Dac Type: Internal String: Intel(R) HD Graphics 620 Total available graphics memory: 8043 mb Dedicated video memory: 128 mb System video memory: 0 mb Shared system memory: 7915 mb
Whenever I go to paint in a full screen mode, if I have more than ~a handful of layers in a larger file (~100mb+), all the menus and tool panels flicker almost every time I make a brush stroke. It's unfortunately not quite consistent enough for me to give exact repro steps (I haven't figured out what triggers it besides full screen modes), though I've seen it happen in a wide variety of file sizes with different numbers of layers. This doesn't happen for me when I'm in a normal view with a floating or docked window, which is how I've had to work for a while. It's very distracting and makes working in full screen modes untenable. I've observed this on my home and work Windows 10 machines. Both have good graphics cards, processors (i7) and at least 32gb RAM, both using Wacom Intuos tablets. I've tried mucking with the graphics card settings, but that doesn't seem to have any impact (even after restarting Photoshop). I usually have the Brushes window open, displaying their s
I was just about to use the generative fill feature in the Photoshop beta, but it tells me that I am supposedly under 18 years old according to my Adobe account, which is not correct. What should I do now? My Account is connected to my Facebook account. in my facebook account my age is correct, which is 24 rn. on the offical adobe site you have to option to type in your age at all. this is so stupid. can somebody help, or does adobe have to fix it, since its kinda a programming fault that is not thought trough.
After update photoshop to version 24.5.0 on Windows 10 22H2 (19045.3031) there is unwanted partial line/frame around slide bar and input value on certain filter dialog box. Attaching two images, where partial line/frame is visible around slide bar.
Apologies if I sound a little frustrating but I'm starting to lose my faith in the program due to all the issues I've been having this year. I've not had this issue at all until the latest update but it seems like Photoshop is corrupting files? It's happened twice since updating - at first I assumed it was some CMYK / View as "Insert Color Profile" but it's not. I can't share files due to NDA but it's happened twice where several layer colors were changed, background layers are semi transparent with bands on it, etc. Help!
As of Photoshop 21.x, attempting to use Blend If on a Group caused Photoshop to crash. A"fix" in 21.2.1 stopped the app crashing in this scenario, HOWEVER, the Blend If on a Group still doesn't work as it did prior to 21.x. It may not crash, but the Blend If effect isn't functioning. Blend If on the Group, using the Underlying Layer slider, just toggles the effect of the group on and off. It doesn't apply a blend based on luminosity. It is just on or off, same as using the layer visibility eyeball. This is on Windows 10, to be clear. These pictures hopefully demonstrate. The "Dodge" group comprises a Curves layer with a simple luminosity midtone lift and a Hue/Sat layer with just -10 Saturation applied. Both have a blank mask but the Group has a negative mask, with painting on the Group mask to apply the combined effect. Picture 1shows no blend and the dodge effect fully applied in the selected area, on the group mask. Pic 2 shows that by merely rai
Hello,Every time I load or open a picture in photo shop my pc instantly shuts off and restarts. Below are some of the things I've tried so far. I've only used photoshop once before this not even a month ago and it worked fine. I updated all my drivers, even tried some older ones on my gpu.I have tried turning off the grahpics procceser. I've tried turning off my Ram xmp profile. Some pc specs:Windows 1019-9900k32gb DDR4 RAM2080 super GPU2tb samsung 860 as main drivephotoshop version is 24.4.1
Sometimes when I grab two corner anchor points of a rectangle shape and use the arrow keys to nudge them left or right, the entire shape flips horizontally instead. This has been happening for several Photoshop versions now. Currently running the latest on macOS.
Hello! I did some searching on the forum to see if anyone else is having similar issues and haven't been able to find anything. When I try to zoom or pan around an image the screen freaks out and seems to be flickering back and forth between incredibly zoomed in or out. It's almost impossible to work with and the only thing that seems to resolve it is restarting the program and hoping to get a decent amount of work done before it happens again. It also seems to be affecting the selection tools, as clicking once with the lasso creates a wild spiderweb of a selection as if the cursor is being dragged all over the screen. This also happens with quick selection, and as far as I can tell any other selection tools. I've attached a screenshot of what happens when I click once with the lasso tool. I've tried this with "Use Graphics Processor" checked on and off and there's no difference. I also tried enabling and disabling scrubby zoom and animated zoom.
After the latest update of Photoshop CC and Lighroom Classic, the Photoshop auto select and the LR AI masking is no longer working. Either I am told subject not found or some silly thing in the photo is selected. To make sure of the bug, I loaded a photo where Photoshop had successfully selected the subject, but now I'm told Subject not found. When Lightroom finds the subject, I am shown a red rectangle around the subject, not the subject only, as it used ti give me beofre the latest update. I'll most likely roll back to the pervious version, but it would be nice if this bug is solved.
Version of the app:24.3.0 Platform and OS version:Windows/MacOS Basic steps to reproduce the problem: Create a text layer with some contents Apply a font that is not MyriadPro-Regular Delete the text contents Add text contents back in with javascript (optional) Access the font property of the TextItem object with javascript Add text contents manually through the UI Access the font property of the TextItem object with javascript again Expected result: Step 5 should return the font applied in step 2, matching the one shown in the UI. Actual result: Step 5 returns the default font MyriadPro-Regular, conflicting with the correct font shown in the UI. Step 7 returns the correct font applied in step 2. Notes: Using ScriptListener to record step 6 shows that over 500 lines of code are generated with various item-specific values, so this makes it prohibitive to work around the issue with that method just to reliably access the correct font.
Hey! Just updated my Photoshop to 23.3 version. And when I'm trying to open any RGB file - it opens with all layers colored in white color. Seems like RGB is not active at all. IF I transfer it into CMYK - all good. Windows 10 Home. Below is the print screen of RGB file turned into CMYK. Cuz I was unable even to make a printscreen in RGB.
photoshop cc 2019 keeps crashing when i try using Perspective Warp
1 or multiple blue boxes appears when I zoom in/out or move elements in the artboard. Does anyone know how to fix this issue?
PS 23.4.2, on a Silicon Mac Studio running Monterey 12.5, As a rule, I've always made a marquee selection slightly larger than the area I plan on liquifying, as historically it takes a great deal less resources and time to bring up the liquify window on large files. In my new silicon Mac set up, liquify goes through all the motions, giving me the proper preview, but upon completion, it returns no result. In frustration, I had resorted to screen capping the preview at 100% and pasting it in my image. Finally I discovered that using a much larger marquee selection would actually return my result. It's a viable workaround, but liquify should work in ANY marquee of any size, as it still does in the most current version on an Intel Mac.
For some reason I am not able to use the control/option brush shortcut anymore to control the brush size and hardness. I am running Photoshop CC 2017.1.1. I am using a Wacom as well and have tried using the old driver and the latest driver to see if either one would help with this issue and no luck. The keyboard is working fine as well, I have even tried two other keyboards and still nothing. Has anyone had this issue recently and found any solutions? It has really affected my workflow 😞
I have Adobe CC installed on a fast SSD, Photoshop startup is usually done in a few seconds, but lately is taking around 2 minutes in the “Reading Preferences” start stage. I have done every existing throubleshooting recommended like resetting or deleting Preferences folder and files, manually, or trough Ctrl+Alt+Shift option, I have unistalled and re-installed, etc. but the problem persists like if CC were back in an old and slow mechanical HDD.
bug in PS version 24.4.1.449when 2 or more files are open, "all-window zoom" does not enlarge files in one place, and all windows are shifted.this is very bad. I often use this to compare the details of two photos.please fix it.
I believe there is a bug within the Photoshop CS6 Warp Transformation when working with Smart Objects. In trying to warp a smart object to conform to an upward facing, slightly curved surface, the warp control handles/points respond incorrectly in reverse; moving one on the lower left outwards warps the image outwards on the upper right. All control point movements result in this backwards behavior.
El mouse desaparece en los menus. Tengo que navegar a ojo porque no aparece. Funciona normal fuera de photoshop. Ya no se que hacer.
i have photoshop for ipad and the last week or so it has been crashing and i have been repeatedly getting a black screen on opening. Occasionally it opens normally, but most of the time i am not able to access the app, which is annoying as i have a subscription and am not able to use it.
I have the most updated version of Photoshop (24.4.1) and have made sure my Mac is updated in terms of software (MacOSVentura 13.3.1 (a)) but whenever I try to select work on an entire artboard, my Photoshop crashes. I have tried to do all the fixes, but nothing has worked for me. I can edit certain things, but I am trying to resize the canvas, so I need to grab everything currently on the art board and make it fit.
After updating photoshop to 24.3.0 it throws a save error if I have a save in action.
Photoshop 2023 Mac Silicon running Ventura 13.2.1 Issue: When using the SuperZoom Neural Filter in an Action, it ads a white background to images that were originally transparent. When using SuperZoom manually (not within an Action), it does not add a white background (the correct, expected behavior).I've attemted to get help for this issue twice today, via live chat. The first time the agent said they were pulling out my account, and then they disconnected. The second time, the agent, Brian, had me share my screen, we worked through a few ways to try and diagnose the problem:1. Run the Action on a .psd file to demonstrate the problem to Brian - this file had a few layers, the only visible layer has transparency (it output a new layer with a white background, when there was no white background before) 2. Run the Action on a different .psd file to ensure it wasn't an issue with the file itself - this file also had a few layers, the only visible layer has transparency (i
option-command-right-click does not scroll the layers palette to my highlighted layer if the palettes are hidden (using tab). This way, when I switch to a layer while I have the palettes hidden, I need to manually scroll the layers palette to find my highlighted layer.
