Photoshop 23.0.0 does not show active selection when stop popup is shown when running an action. If you cancel selection is visible again. Same action in 22 or 21 versions does show active selections on same system. Osx 10.15.7
Hello, it seems that there is a big bug with the "Slice Select Tool", especially with the "Divide" option.I have a 1792 x 512px image containing 64 x 64px tiles that I want to cut out. When I use the "Divide Slice" and split 64x64 pieces horizontally and vertically with the Preview option enabled. The preview is distorted (specially if the values of are greater in pixels per slice fields at default) and persistent, even when cancelling/closing "Divide" dialog and closing the current document. The "Divide Slice" option only works if the "Preview" option is not activated. Regards, Nico.
* Env - Photoshop 23.1.1 Release - Windows 10 I want to know that NFT features in Photoshop. But I can't access the page after clicking the menu. (File > Export > Learn how to export for NFT) 'Learn how to export for NFT' is translation result. So it may not be perfectly matched in Photoshop menu. Now, if I click this menu, browse 404 error page in adobe. Anyone, Please let me know how to export for NFT in Photoshop. (or guide page)
In all PS versions 23.0.2 and earlier setting Grid to 33.34 Percent with Subdivisions = 1 created a nine-section, tic-tac-toe-style grid which divided both horizontal and vertical axes into three equal sections, providing nine working sections, each having a ratio equal to that of the canvas. In PS 23.1 setting Grid to 33.34 Percent with Subdivisions = 1 creates canvas full of squares, each of which has all sides set to (essentially) one third of the horizontal value of the canvas only, regardless of vertical value. There appears to be no setting available to force behavior to divide vertical values by any percentage. If this change was purposeful, it has deprecated one of my most important tools for composition. If it wasn't, please arrange to align this setting with results obtained from previous versions. PS 23.1 uninstalled; reverting to 23.0.2 pending correction or confirmation of intent to change.
After upgrading to 19.5.1, this issue still persists. I am rendering 175 frames into a video and the Initializing Video Export progress bar gets about 80% across and stalls. The program is unresponsive after that.
I try again with a new post since the previous one has not been understood. Using in Photoshop 23.0 the "Gradient Map" adjustment layer even with the "Classic" Method is not backward compatible. Does not work as expected. I need to specify, since the previous post received a wrong reply regarding the "Gradient Fill", that I'm talking about the "Gradient Map" (not the Gradient Fill!) adjustment layer correctly setted with "Classic" method. Even with classic method the Gradient Map will be not read in the previous version of Photoshop. The only way to make it readable in previous versions is convert the image layer in a smart layer and apply the Gradient Map as a smart filter (from menu "image" -> adjustments -> gradient map), always in Classic Method. In this way the gradient map will be read even in the previous version. So, please, there is a bug with the Gradient Map adjustment layer in Classic method since should be backward compatible. Please, make a test and kindly repl
So I've been using Photoshop sine it's very first commercial release. (Yes long time and yes I am old now LOL) So I just installed versions 2020 & 2021 and when I have the timeline palate open but unanchor it, the Fit in Window command causes the file to resize to the complete height of my monitor so the bottom 5th of my file is blocked or covered by the Timeline Palate. However, if I anchor it and Fit in Window, it resizes the way it always has, right to the top of the timeline palate. It use to be that you could place your timeline palate either at the bottom or the top and when you'd select Fit in Window it would resize the file to fit up to the edge of the Timeline Palate. Can this be fixed??!?!!?
Hello, Each time i export an image via the function "Add to Photos" (Mac), the image is correctly exported but after that all menus are greyed out and the only possibility to get out of this is a "Forced stop" of Photoshop as "Stop Photoshop" is also greyed out. Already reinstalled Photoshop several times, reset all settings, without any plugins, ... nothig helps. With previous versions of Photoshop there was no issue at this point. Hi, inside Photoshop (not even the entire programm, just die "workspace" you see when opening a document) all white tones are slightly tinted yellow. I know that this is a common problem an I have had it before multiple times and was able to fix it multiple times. This time things are different, though. I already changed profile to sRGB IEC61966-2.1 and it is still not fixed. This problem does not exist in any other Adobe programm (or ANY programm for that matter). Also, it's probably not a monitor-thing, because ist equally as bad on my other monitor. My specs: Monitor 1: dell u3219q Monitor 2: Samsung Sync Master 2443 OS: Windows 11 Thanks in advance
PS 2022 Object Selection Tool is not working. It just puts a blue highlighted box over the subject. I have many different photos and the same thing happens every time.
I'm getting a random crash only when using tranform tool. Photoshop is completely up to date, Mac Os is up to date. Adobe customer service reset photoshop to factory settings and still getting the issue. The issue has persisted for 2 years with no resolve. My files are normal size - nothing crazy - around 3300 x 5100 pixels 300dpi. The issue tends to happen more when there are several layers and when working on a file and using transform tool on and off for a couple hours. Max layers 10-15. This is happening to all Psd files. macOS Monterey 12.1 Processor - 3GHz 6-Core intel Core i5 Memory - 16gb 2667 Mhz DDr4 Graphics - Radeon Pro 570X 4GB Any help would be greatly appreciated
Photoshop for iPad Selection “Output As” tool is bugged Everytime I select something and use the "refine edge" tool on the bottom and try to save the selection as a new layer or a different option, it freezes up and I have to hit cancel or it crashes completely. Adobe, please fix this issue!
I found a bug that I don't think existed before 21.1.0. When mouse-dragging multiple artboards, they glitch out, with the artboards and their contents getting out of sync with each other and jumping to unexpected areas of the canvas. Please see GIF below (also here: https://gph.is/g/Ev151vV ) Image is not available
Hello, dear friends. From cc2015 to 2018 i can drag and drop any content to a document in PS that i generate in the panel as png or jpeg. In my case it canvas html5 that create some "Magic".But in PS 2019-2020 its not working. I don't understand why.I send example image via iframe (The principles works the same).https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/s/to2g377xnvevd8f/ScreenRecording2019-11-29at13.26.48....I would really appreciate your help to fix this problem.
i was promised weeks ago, that Bug Id PS-38302 would be fixed in the upcoming update of Photoshop. Couldn't deliver to customers all this time, because i rely on hdr - and i cant create usable hdr-files, since it is a major bug not a minor one (how is that possible in a version 20.00x?). no previous versions works either!!!Update is here, Problem not fixed at all - I cant deliver any work to my customers and are loosing orders!!!!really, this is not acceptable!!
From my iPad Pro, I can't see a cloud document file that should be there. I can see the file on cloud from desktop version of Photoshop.I posted this issue here, but nobody gave me an answer.1. I uploaded (save as, to the cloud) the files in Photoshop on my desktop PC.2. I opened Photoshop on the iPad. The files were listed in "Cloud documents".3. I opened the files. Pop up dialog said it should take long time as my internet connection was slow (in Japanese). Actually, my internet connection speed is about average, which is not too slow.4. My iPad went to sleep automatically.5. I woke my iPad. I no longer could see the files. The download dialog was gone. Downloads didn't seem to be continuing. The files were not shown in the Cloud Documents. I still could see the files on cloud, from my desktop PC.6. After waiting of one to 24 hours, the files re-appeared.7. The files could be seen under "Cloud Documents" on https://assets.adobe.com/ when the
When editing an existing text layer, Photoshop automatically capitalises the first letter of the first word — regardless of where it appears, and regardless of the the Shift and/or Caps lock status. To replicate: Add a text layer Enter text Edit the text layer Enter text (capitalisation is enforced) This can get very tedious when you’re editing large blocks of text.
The home screen shows recently opened files listed by "last modified" regardless of whether or not the file has actually been modified, and shows a modification time which is entirely spurious and misleading. It would be better to have an option for "last opened" or "last viewed".
As you can see, none of the layer thumbs is rendering, and the doc stops working entirely as soon as I toggle visibility on any of the layers. Closing and reopening fixes rendering...until I toggle a layer again. (Or, for that matter, anything else. Even just selecting a tool causes the entire canvas to go gray!) Other docs continue to work fine...for now. This has me spooked, & wary of trusting the app!Anyone know of a way to recover the document?

Hi folks, can anyone advise how to change (what I think are) the annoying thick/fat handles and corners on the crop tool post the 2020 update ? I've posted a picture below of what I mean.Is it possible to alter their size, thickness, opacity etc or even go back to the style in Photoshop CC 2019 ?The problem I find now is that you can't judge the crop properly for fine (small) crops less than the thickness of the handles or where you reference point is under the corner or side handles. Many thanks in advance
Recently, I was using the simplified Chinese version of Photoshop (version 21.1.1), drawing a rectangle, and the software default display unit is 100 像素 * 100 像素. But I want to change it to 100mm * 100mm(or 100毫米*100毫米). When I input 100mm in the size input box, the software directly reports "invalid number item". The size changes, but the unit is not mm but 像素. When I input 100毫米mm in the dimension input box, the software can change normally and the unit is correct. This proves that this version of Photoshop does not support the exchange of Chinese and English units, but the previous versions can. I hope the official can fix this problem, because it's too much trouble to input Chinese for dimension unit.
Scenario: A layer is selected The “select” tool is selected You switch to another app by swiping left on the “handle” at the bottom on the screen in iPadOS You switch back to Photoshop The previously selected layer is moved way offscreen Admittedly, this doesn’t happen every time I do this, but it does happen a lot.
Before PS 2020, layers with shallow Knockout enabled and reduced Flow could be clipped to layer groups. These clipped layers would interact with each other, mainly allowing separate shadows to be added without stacking with each other. When opening the same documents in PS 2020, the clipped layers with knockout give wildly different results. Solid color fill layers blend in Normal mode despite layer blend settings, and cause the attached group to also reduce in Flow, making these areas partially transparent. Regular layers appear to have a per-channel effect, with Flow and Opacity serving completely different purposes from before. When playing with the "Transparency Shapes Layer" setting in Blending Options, it appears that PS 2020 show the previous behavior in preview, but continues to do the unwanted behavior when committing a change. (The setting doesn't actually change the result.)Top left: PS 2019 and Shade 1 shapeTop right: PS 2020 and Shade 2 shapeBottom left: unblended contents o
In common with other users PS now crashes on every occasion when using Content Aware Fill. It was working fine although I haven’t used it for a couple of months. I am currently using the latest version 23.01, but it was the same with the immediate prior version & also with v22.5 when I explored downgrading. The system & drivers are all up-to-date. I have tried all the logged fixes including extending the TDR values & turning off GPU acceleration but to no avail. Logs have been submitted when the box opens. My system is Win 10 64bit 19042.1288, Intel I7 9700K, 32Gb, Aorus Z390 AORUS ELITE, XFX Radeon RX 570, PS 23.0.
