When using the Fade Dialog, chaging the Opacity Slider is jerky and not very responsive. I have found this to be the case with PS 23 MAC Monteray.    

The arrow keys work without hassle when Channel is set to RGB (default). However, if I change to a different channel and place a new point on the curve, the arrow keys switch between channels instead of moving the new point.   There is a workaround, but it is not intuitive and requires an extra click: Open curves tool. Select a color channel using either the drop down manu or pressing Alt+3, Alt+4, or Alt 5. Place a new point on the curve. Then, click your mouse in the Output field or the Input field (where the number is displayed). Then the arrow keys move the point properly. This is on Windows 10, PS version 21.2.4.   If this cannot be fixed, it might be worth updating the help file at https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/curves-adjustment.html in the section "Keyboard shortcuts: Curves" where it states "To move selected points on the curve, press the arrow keys."   Thank you.   {Title edited by moderator - PS-72961}

Hello,  I bought recently a macbook and when I want to resample an image (from circa 25x25 cm/300 dpi to 50x50 cm / 200dpi), thing I often do, on the photoshop installed on the mac book, it doesn't work at all. You can see the picture transformed by this operation.  When I do it on my windows computer, it works normally.    Is there something checked by default ? Is it a known bug on Mac ? on Photoshop ?  I downloaded the last Photoshop version a couple of days ago. But the result is still the same.   

Since I installed Photoshop version 23.0 I have a problem: Whenever I start the program; whenever I open a file; or whenever I switch from one file to another, from among the open files, I get several popup messages, all with the same message.   "Fail to call postmessage as webview is not initialized yet".   I don't know why this happens, but with Photoshop 22 it didn't happen.   Can anyone help me to solve this problem? It's annoying to have to close the three or four popup windows every time they appear.

I opened an existing PSD file, created a new path for a text layer. Put text on the path. Exported it to PDF.   Expected: Text shows as on edit.   Result: Text shows as attached and breaking the orientation.Existing paths do not have this problem though.   I have attached a JPG export as well so you can see that it exports correctly to JPG.  

Started crashing with 26.0. Then 26.0.1. And still with 26.0.2.  At least with 26.0.2 it only crashes once. I'm usually successful the second or third time. Oh well. I have InDesign to worry more about, anyway.

I'm using: Adobe photoshop 2022 (latest update)- windows 10   Hello, it is several months that I am facing the same problem in photoshop: my workflow involves precise layer naming. I often have to re-use the same part of a layer name convention, so for sake of speed, instead of writing the same name convention on a layer hundreds of times, I use to copy-paste the layer name from one layer to another. To do that I use the shortcut ctrl+C and ctrl+V. Unfortunately after a while the copy paste function for layer names stops working and no name is copied/pasted. Every time this happens I have to restart photoshop, (closing the document does not solve the issue) and copy paste starts working again but just for 15-20 minutes, then it stops working and have to re-restart. Honestly, this is quite frustrating, because the simple text copy paste is just a basic function in ANY software and not having this working can be very time consuming. I've been having an issue when trying to open photoshop on my windows pc. I've gone through all of the troubleshooting steps that I could find. If anyone else has come across a similar issue that was resolved by something else other than the steps I've taken please help. I've submitted crash reports, but haven't heard back yet. This all seems to have happened after the latest update but previous versions are now also experiencing issues. Windows 10 home 20H2 with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti Troubleshooting steps taken: Revert to previous versions of Photoshop, reset preferences, update graphics card, looked into windows media feature pack but couldn't find anything relevant to download, launched without plugins, and reset font cache.

Had an issue with Smart Sharpen in PS2022. PS crashes and called Adobe and was told it might be a possible sync issues with a second monitor. After disabling it it worked but I had PS2022 working after a few crash problems. Any help woud be appreciated. Thanks,

The "transparency grid" used to visualise the transparency in a document gets blended with the image using Gamma 1,0 instead of honouring the gamma of your document (usually ~2,2). Confirmed in CS6 through CC2022. So I have ran into a strange bug/issue regarding my niche setup. (Though I assume there are many other GPU rendering types out there with similar setups.) It seems like Photoshop's GPU acceleration bugs out and does not display/work correctly when you have 2 GPUs in NVLINK, and 1 GPU that is not a part of the NVLINK group driving the monitors. Photoshop will correctly detect the display GPU in the GPU compatibility check but it will not display correctly anything in the canvas. It just "locks up" what was displayed.If unplug the display GPU from my monitor and instead plugin one of the NVLINK'd GPUs then everything works fine as expected. So it seems related to NVLINK interfering with the display only GPU driving Photoshop correctly. I do not have this issue with other programs, and it is odd that the Photoshop GPU check detects the GPU just fine.It would be great if I did not have to change the HDMI cord out every time i need to use Photoshop. Hi,   I have recently installed Photoshop 2022 (v23), and I was surprised when I opened my PSD files that were using the gradiant map layer style in the layer stack..They look different 😞     Indeed, Adobe introduced the Perceptual, Linear and Classic methods. This looks great at a first glance, but the default is 'Perceptual', and 'Classic' is not applied when you open a PSD that contains gradiant map layer styles.This sound as a bug, because PSD files should retaint the corrections intent of the retoucher.Please, add the capability to set the default behaviour for thr Gradiant Map Layesr Style in the preference.Thank you.{Moderator note: Edited the thread title}

Hi, I'm running the latest version of Photoshop 2022.  When I do an Quick Export to PNG and I manually type in the filename that already exists, it doesn't prompt me to overwrite, it just overwrites it.  However if I double click on the file name in the file window it will prompt me to overwrite.  I'm running Windows 10 20H2.  Not sure if anyone else is having this issue, but I just wanted to let you know.   Thanks - Zack

I am having real problems using the Sky Replacement tool.  I am using a Mac with the M1 processor.  The same problem is also happening on my Mac Book Pro with a similar spec.  I open the tool and you get the spinning wheel, trying to select different skies just freezes.  I have deleted all the photoshop permissions and made sure that the program has all the necessary disc permissions that I saw in a previous post.  Any ideas? 

Hello. Happily running v22.5.3 and everything perfect and as expected and should be. No issues at all.   Upgraded to v23.0.1 this morning and out of the gate, the following issues identified: 1. 'File/Open Recent' now grayed out. 2. Sky replacement crashes the program when attempting to make any adjustments. 3. 'About Photoshop' in the Help menu does nothing   Windows 10 Enterprise (1809) with MS 'N' Media Pack installed on a Dell Optiplex 9010 with i7 8-core processor, 32Gb RAM, 500Gb Samsung SDD.Unable to attach Adobe Log Collector-generated file due to limitation of this webpage.   When will Adobe be fixing these issues please?

Last night my ipad updated its self, with the latest version of software. Now everytime I import a PNG photo, it makes it have a white back ground. So its reckonizing it as a jpeg or something. super annoying. Can I turn off camera raw import?????

In Photoshop 2020.1, when dragging sliders (e.g. in Levels, but in other slider-containing dialogs as well) there is a significant lag before the screen redraws (Preview enabled). The screen doesn't start to redraw until I stop dragging the slider; there is about a 0.5 second or more delay before I can see the effect of the change. Photoshop 2019 does not do this, on the same computer; the slider change effect is shown continuously and smoothly in the preview as the slider moves. I created a file with an alpha channel and chose "Save As" to save a psd. The alpha channel I created was missing from the file. However, choosing "Save A Copy" revealed an "Alpha Channels" checkbox that was deselected. I selected the checkbox, saved the psd and now it works. I can also choose "Save As" again and it will save the alpha channels as expected.   This seems like a permanent toggle that is applied to all save methods but only shown on one save method. There are other options missing too, like "Notes", "Spot Colors", and "Layers". I don't understand why the options are missing from the Save As dialogue when the format remains the same.  

1. The Photoshop 2018 Pen tool has different path color to choose from. But it's annoying to me to switch over and over in different circumstances. For example, The path color is Blue and I'm working some kind of image that has the blue color. In this case, the path becomes way too hard to follow to adjust the anchors. Because the path color isn't BLENDING with the color underneath like it was in Photoshop CC 2017. Example: 2. The Rubberband. The rubber band is way good in Phootshop 2017. But in 2018 photoshop, when I'm working on path rubber band act like it's vibrating or something similar. It's just not stable in connecting to the pen.I have been using Photoshop since CS2. I experienced the same problem in the Photoshop CS5 and 5.5. And it was fixed in CS6 till CC 2017. Photoshop 22.0.1. Tested on three machines, one is a Mac.   How to replicate: enter/change white point or any RGB xy values, close the window. Reenter to check. Slightly different xy numbers and the white point resets to D50. Fore refreence I upgraded my i7 6700K CPU to a new i7 12700KF which came out this month. Photoshop 2022 has been working perfect on the old CPU and only recently I got round to using Photoshop only to find it will not load images due to a crash bug on the new CPU system.   I can replicate this bug  so it is definitely a bug in the 2022 version of PS currently on the Creative Cloud. I can uninstall and reinstall and still get the same issue. This bug does not exist on Photoshop 2021 having done some testing with that too.   If I launch Photoshop 2022 and open any image, the app crashes with no error. Just closes itself. If I go to Task Manager in Windows with Photoshop open and then manually assign affinity to only the P-Cores of the 12700K then I can load any image and work on them no problems at all. This confirms to me that Photoshop 2022 has an issue where it crashes when Intel thread Director and WIndows 11 assign Photoshop threads to the CPU and as some will be rsid

The system automatically updated to PS 23.0. Now the PS crashes when trying to zoom in or tilt the image by hand on the touchscreen. I tried to disable the graph

1. Make a measurement (ex: count particles on an image) 2. On the Measurement Log panel select the data rows 3. Right click - export 4. Type any filename, keep extension to default "TXT (Tab delimited) (.txt)" 5. Photoshop creates a file named "filename.txt)"

EVERY TIME I TRY to go to image>Adjustments>Replace Color, IT DOES NOT WORK!!! NO MATTER WHAT OPTIONS I choose from the dialog box, color is NEVER replaced with another color!!! EVERYTHING stays the EXACT SAME as if I never did a thing!!! I googled the problem but ONLY results about it replacing it with an incorrect color or shade of color came up, NOTHING about it NOT working AT ALL!!!

An image is worth a thousand words : Left, Photoshop CC, right Photoshop Cs6. In both versions, I can hide the result of a vector mask by shift-clicking on the mask's thumbnail in the layers panel (big red cross). in Cs6, i then saw the path (italic "vector path of layer 0") and could edit that. in CC, when a mask's result is not shown, i don't see its path in the path panel, and can't edit that. Workaround : use the properties panel and set the mask opacity to less than 100%, but it requires 2 clicks...
